Couldn't have asked for better service. Even though I called late Pedro was very patient and understanding. I was lost did not who to call or what to say but he helped me every step of the way. We never expected to be down this path so soon but he made it special for our family because he knew how she meant in our lives. She will be missed and thanks to American Pets we will have her still with us.

Great value. Outstanding customer service.Our 12 year young dog , Sultan passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on a weekday at around 9pm. We had already booked a vet to put him down in a few days down the road so at that time we looked online, found APC and decided to call them before their closing time of 10pm. I talked to Pedro who was very compasionate from the minute he picked up the phone. As agreed , Nicolas picked up Sultan's body the following morning. I have to commend Nicolas personality and top customer service. He was empathetic from the minute he knocked our door to the time he delivered Sultan's ashes the following day. Altogether, a GREAT experience with APC. I would recommend their services to anyone living in North Dade county.

I really have no words to thank Pedro (owner) and Emilio (the driver) for how at peace they made me feel. This was the first pet I have ever lost and they made the process so easy and were so understanding of the situation. I had originally contacted a different place that just didn’t make me feel comfortable with handling my baby. I must say, Pedro made me feel so comfortable and it felt like if it was his baby they would care for. I miss my little guy so much and nothing will bring him back, but Jamby’s ashes, paw print, and certificate were wrapped so adorable and brought right to my doorstep exactly when he said he would. As much as I wish our fur babies could forever stay with us, in a heart beat I would call him again for my other fur babies. Thank you so much! ♥️

We lost our sweet baby on Halloween night. We were not sure what to do or who to contact on a Sunday morning. I came across American Pets Crematory online and contacted them due to their positive reviews. They did not disappoint. Pedro made the process very easy and painless for us. Nicholas came to pick up our sweet boy. He was very quick to arrive after our initial call and reviewed the process with us in our home. He delivered his remains back to us with an adorable keepsake paw print and a very nice certificate of cremation. I would highly recommend their services.

My little son died on the night of June 24, early in the morning I contacted Mr. Pedro who very kindly and very quickly came to pick up my baby with great care, respecting my pain and being very kind, he returned it to me in a beautiful wooden urn that I chose of very good quality with the name engraved on it. The worst, most unprofessional, and insensitive service I have ever received. Our dog died September 24th. We contacted Pedro that night and he came within 2 hours to pick her up. We paid the entire amount ($240) up front. At that time, he informed me it would take a few days to a week to receive my dogs ashes. A week passed. No call from Pedro. I called him and he stated that it was taking longer than usual because he did not have enough cremations to start up the oven. He assured me that it would be done within another week. Another week passed, now we are at two weeks since my dog passed. No call from Pedro. I called him and again he said it would be ready within a few more days. Nearly three weeks after my dogs passing, on October 13th, is when Pedro brought us my dogs ashes. His excuse for why it took so long is because he had too many cremations. Didn’t you just tell me that my dog couldn’t be cremated because you didn’t have enough cremations lined up to start the oven? Now the reason is that you had too many cremations? Pedro made an already emotional, difficult time even more worrisome. I’m assuming since we paid the full amount in advance he was in no rush to return our dog to us. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Pedro arrived quickly after I contacted him. He was very kind and comforting. He explained his procedure, Knowledge and options of his cremation process and imported chambers. I was surprised how neat and clean Pedro dressed, I never used a service like this. He returned a couple of days later, I told him no hurry. I received an adorable box with my pet's ashes. I was so uoset, I don't remember if there were urn options, probably were, but I LOVE my container he chose, very Happy and cute 💚 I will never forget his kindness. Thank you Pedro ;)

American Pets Crematory, It is a great company!!!!. I only have good things to say about them. They will go far and beyond to help your family in such of stressful situation. My 16 years Old Dog Past away on a Sunday, and it was a very sad time for my family, it was very hard for my children to get to the house to find out that our beloved Dog was not longer with us.I called the company that day, The owner Pedro was out of town and he did all in his power to have somebody to pick my dog that same night!.I highly recommend them very professional and Compassionate people.

I called American Pets Cemetery late at night after my sweet Bella had passed away. I was very concerned about who I called to help take care of our passed family member.I am very happy that I took the chance on American pets cemetery. Pedro the owner answers the phone and took my call and make the process of helping my family cope with her cremation.He arrived at 7am on Saturday and made the process of taking Bella very comfortable (she is a 75lb dog). He then did something very special and moved around his schedule to allow us to do the viewing on Sunday instead of Monday.When we arrived at the viewing he had Bella there for us to see her under a tent but my wife and I only wanted to spend a short time with her because we had already said our goodbyes when she passed. She looked very peaceful and was very presentable thanks to Pedro. In fact it took my breath away because it looked like she was just napping.After cremation Pedro delivered Bella and her cremation certificate and offered his condolences. He does look a little serious when you first meet him but I can assure you that he is very passionate about what he does and cares about you.He did offer many options for a custom urn but we found one online that we wanted to order. He did bring her in a beautiful box/urn however.Thanks to Pedro we can always cherish the memories of our sweet Bella.

Pedro, arrived at our dogs vets office at the exact time he had said he would arrive and was very flexible and generous with our need to have the urn and memorial jewelry before we moved (which was just a couple days after our dog had passed) he made the process very easy.

He met us at our home within an hour and took care of all of the arrangements and made us feel like Lola was going to be well taken care of. I recommend them with my eyes closed knowing that they will provide to you the service and help they provided to me. My elderly golden retriever was 15 and rapidly deteriorating. One day in October, I was at the office got the call that he wouldn't get up and was shaking. I called my vet, whom will remain nameless, but had been his vet for over 5 years and she told me she couldn't help me because she couldn't put him down after hours. I mention this because I had prepared with her for a couple of years the fact that I wanted to put him down at home in his bed. That was very important to me. I had to put down a dog about 10 years ago and it was one of those -rush to the ER situations- and I did not want to do that because I wanted it to be a peaceful farewell.When Pedro- the agent for the crematorium and the veterinarian arrive in October, Chester made a miraculous recovery. On December 28, 2019 Chester truly did not have any fight in him left I called American Pets Crematory and they came within a couple of hours. Chester was put down by the vet with no fuss. He sweetly drifted off to sleep surrounded by his family. They took his body and brought be back his ashes a week later. I purchased the little paw print service and cherish it.I bring this up because I know how difficult this decision must be for the person reading this review. When I needed my vet of over 5 years the most she told me she wouldn't do it when years ago she promised me she would. I was lost and found American Pets Crematory and am the better for it.Sadly, I have had to recommend their services to a couple of friends of mine and they are also very satisfied with their services.I hope that this review will be of help to you. ❤️

Thank you to Pedro for all his hard work. I honestly thank God for having a chance to meet Pedro at such a rough time in my life. Pedro was VERY comforting and I feel like he understood my pain. Pedro picked up my baby and made paper work and payment easy. He was THE ONLY guy in all Miami who gave me a chance to view my baby while he was getting cremated. I was not only allowed to see the whole process, but I was also allowed to hug my FROST one last time before being turned into ashes. He gave me time and privacy during the viewing and I am truly honored and happy that I was able to go through this experience with AMERICAN PET CREMATORY. It was the only place that made me feel comfortable. I went to other crematory places but, Pedro offered best services by not only picking up my pet but by giving us great service and support. Which is what someone needs after a loved one has passed.THANK YOU PEDRO I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU FOR GIVING ME A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE.

I hate having to review a place like this, but unfortunately as a pet parent it happens. Not too long ago we sadly lost our beautiful African Grey. Beyond the fact that we were devastated, we had to focus on what to do. In the past I’ve always used another pet cremation service but they had a fire the night before, so now I was scrambling to find a new place. We weren’t just looking for a place to do a cremation, but a place that would allow a viewing and an on-site cremation to take his ashes home with us that day. After Googling, I stumbled upon this place, American Pets. I spoke with Pedro and he was very kind and helpful. For a small additional fee he saved us the devastating trip of picking up our beloved Grey from the Animal Hospital.I read all of the reviews and felt comfortable using this place. However I did read one negative review that made me very apprehensive. So I was wondering what I was getting our poor African Grey and family into. So when we pulled up, and yes it is in a warehouse area, I was nervous. However, once Pedro closed the door, we were in a room that was set up to view our beloved as respectfully as possible. They were kind enough to put four real candles all around him, and even a little bird statue. They even had a holy icon available. Pedro gave us a lot of time to do our service, and did not pressure us to hurry like other places do. He seemed to be very careful with our sweet parrot, and always made us feel at ease. He even gave us all cold bottled water which I never received in the sad to say 12 times we used the other service. He also has an assortment of different remains boxes and urns, and a catalog to choose from as well.If you sadly find yourself saying goodbye to your beloved family pet, and wish to do an on-site service/viewing and onsite cremation, you can rest assured you with American Pet and Pedro. Thank you Pedro for helping us through this difficult time.

They were wonderful. I called them at six something in the morning and they picked up on the third ring. They came out, picked up my pet, and delivered her remains a week later. They were super sweet and super professional. My dog’s remains came nicely packaged along with the mold of her paw print, and her certificate of cremation. You always hope to never have to recommend this to anyone but if I am in a position where I have to I am more than happy and confident in recommending them.

They made a very difficult time a little easier by handling my beloved cat with care. When I received the remains it was beautifully wrapped. The wooden pet urn is quality and pleasing. I would definitely recommend them, unfortunately it would be in a time of grief.

After my precious Lyo passed away it was very sudden and early in the morning so we had to find a good trustworthy place that can cremate him, We gave American Pets Crematory a call and Pedro quickly picked up the phone, he was very professional and said he will be able to come by. He was very respectful and offered his condolences, he showed us our options for the urns and after that he asked if i wanted to give my final good byes. He then gently put him in the bag and told us that we will have his ashes in 2 days. When he came to drop off the ashes he made two bags just as we asked, since we wanted a beach ceremony to give our passed family member an honorable funeral. We also ordered a paw print which was on clay and inside a nice box. I'm very happy that I picked American Pets crematory, Pedro truly cares and helped give our precious cat a well deserved honorable funeral.Thank you pedro

This place is truly amazing. A gentleman named Pedro was so helpful from beginning to end with everything. He knew how very little my knowledge was with my steps on cremating my hedgehog and he was very calm, kind and informative with everything. This is the best service we as a family could have found in a moment of need. Having a family pet passed is a very hard moment because after 12 yrs he becomes part of the family. American Pets Crematory exceeded our expectation with the kindness and treatment of our moment of pain. They delivered 120% of what they said they would do and in my opinion they are the best. I am in between feelings at the moment. At the beginning, the day it happened they treated me super good and they told me everything would be ready by Saturday, April 26th, 2021. I understand that it was delayed because they were waiting for Urns but I paid $160 and received my poor little dog in a BOX that you can buy at the dollar store. So disrespectful! I had to buy my own urn from amazon because she came in a little box. So sad that I had to receive her in this way, I was expecting to receive what I paid for, instead she came in a BOX! I am highly upset, my dog deserves way better than a box from the dollar store!

For a small additional fee he saved us the devastating trip of picking up our beloved Grey from the Animal Hospital.I read all of the reviews and felt comfortable using this place. However I did read one negative review that made me very apprehensive. So I was wondering what I was getting our poor African Grey and family into. So when we pulled up, and yes it is in a warehouse area, I was nervous. However, once Pedro closed the door, we were in a room that was set up to view our beloved as respectfully as possible. They were kind enough to put four real candles all around him, and even a little bird statue. They even had a holy icon available. Pedro gave us a lot of time to do our service, and did not pressure us to hurry like other places do. He seemed to be very careful with our sweet parrot, and always made us feel at ease. He even gave us all cold bottled water which I never received in the sad to say 12 times we used the other service. He also has an assortment of different remains boxes and urns, and a catalog to choose from as well.If you sadly find yourself saying goodbye to your beloved family pet, and wish to do an on-site service/viewing and onsite cremation, you can rest assured you with American Pet and Pedro. They were wonderful. I called them at six something in the morning and they picked up on the third ring. They came out, picked up my pet, and delivered her remains a week later. They were super sweet and super professional. My dog’s remains came nicely packaged along with the mold of her paw print, and her certificate of cremation. You always hope to never have to recommend this to anyone but if I am in a position where I have to I am more than happy and confident in recommending them.

I got my dog cremated with this company and the certificate of cremation is read as if my mother is the one that passed away. The ceramic paw print also had my moms name on it. We called it in to get it fixed and they still messed up the certificate. I hope they don’t mess up my dogs ceramic print. Definitely won’t be using them in the future.

After my precious Lyo passed away it was very sudden and early in the morning so we had to find a good trustworthy place that can cremate him, We gave American Pets Crematory a call and Pedro quickly picked up the phone, he was very professional and said he will be able to come by. He was very respectful and offered his condolences, he showed us our options for the urns and after that he asked if i wanted to give my final good byes. He then gently put him in the bag and told us that we will have his ashes in 2 days. When he came to drop off the ashes he made two bags just as we asked, since we wanted a beach ceremony to give our passed family member an honorable funeral. We also ordered a paw print which was on clay and inside a nice box. I'm very happy that I picked American Pets crematory, Pedro truly cares and helped give our precious cat a well deserved honorable funeral.Thank you pedro

I am in between feelings at the moment. At the beginning, the day it happened they treated me super good and they told me everything would be ready by Saturday, April 26th, 2021. I understand that it was delayed because they were waiting for Urns but I paid $160 and received my poor little dog in a BOX that you can buy at the dollar store. So disrespectful! I had to buy my own urn from amazon because she came in a little box. So sad that I had to receive her in this way, I was expecting to receive what I paid for, instead she came in a BOX! I am highly upset, my dog deserves way better than a box from the dollar store!

This place is a ghetto garage, where they placed our deceased dog on a dirty tarp for the “viewing”. It was disrespectful and impersonal. Literally a garage with tools and happens to have a crematory. I can’t believe that is a place our vet offers for end of life services for our family member.

WOW, HOW BLESSED WE WERE TO FIND PEDRO IN SUCH A DIFFICULT TIME. ITS BEEN ONLY SIX DAYS SINCE MY PRECIOUS BABY PURLIE WENT TO BE WITH THE ANGELS AND GOODNESS MY HOME IS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT HER, BUT PEDRO AND APC MADE THIS TRANSITION SO COMFORTABLE. This place is a ghetto garage, where they placed our deceased dog on a dirty tarp for the “viewing”. It was disrespectful and impersonal. Literally a garage with tools and happens to have a crematory. I can’t believe that is a place our vet offers for end of life services for our family member.

Highly recommended. For me and my family, the loss of Susy, my beautiful 14-year-old dog, was very hard. We decided to cremate her and keep her ashes with us. These people took care of the details and the sensitivity of this painful moment.

I've seen a lot of 5 star reviews, and that's what encouraged me to hire them, so all I can assume is that I was unlucky. It is true that they collected my dog's body on time, however, the engraving that I had requested on the urn could not be done because the machine that does it broke (they gave me my money back, but that is not the important thing). Much more serious, they mixed up my dog's name, and on the paw print that I bought to remember her (they put it on you like a cement), the name WRONG came, and that is something that CANNOT be fixed since the dog was already cremated. I had to make an invention with a pen. Obviously the cremation certificate was also with the name misspelled, and they promised to send it to me by mail... I sincerely believe that they have everything to do a decent job, but in my case their mistakes cause discomfort and pain, both for me and my wife. That's why the 1 star review. When your work has direct borders with people's pain, mistakes weigh much more for them.He visto muchos comentarios de 5 estrellas, y fue lo que me animó a contratarlos a ellos, así que único que puedo suponer es que yo tuve mala suerte. Es verdad que recogieron el cuerpo de mi perrita en tiempo, sin embargo, el engraving que yo había pedido en la urna no se pudo hacer porque la máquina que lo hace se rompió (me devolvieron el dinero, pero eso no es lo importante). Muchísimo más grave, confundieron el nombre de mi perrita, y en la huella de la patica que compré para recordarla (que te la ponen como en un cemento), vino el nombre MAL, y eso es algo que NO se puede arreglar toda vez que ya la perrita fue cremada. Tuve que hacer un invento con un plumón. Obviamente el certificado de cremación también estaba con el nombre mal escrito, y prometieron mandármelo por correo... Sinceramente creo que tienen todo para hacer un trabajo decente, pero en mi caso sus errores generan molestia y dolor, tanto en mí como en mi esposa. Por eso el review de 1 estrella. Cuando tu trabajo tiene fronteras directas con el dolor de las personas, los errores pesan muchísimo más para ellas.
