I highly recommend Gentle Pet Crossing when that unfortunate time comes along. I was calling for my daughter whose cat had past away, she was too upset to deal with it. Therefore I had to call back and forth a few times for questions and answers between her and the person I was speaking with. I apologize for not remembering his name. But he was so patient and very nice and helpful. They got her scheduled that same day. The doctor that came was very caring and did an excellent job. Thank you Gentle Pet Crossing.

Heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff at Gentle Pet Crossing for making the most difficult decision and moments of my life easier. The team as well as Dr. Gersten were incredibly empathetic and understanding. Dr. Gersten is so compassionate and caring she gave me so much time with Shyloh before she passed in my home and she handled it with the utmost respect and care as we said our final goodbyes. The staff was incredibly patient as I made decisions on her private aquamation and keepsakes. It’s such a personal service. They really understand what you are going through. My neighbor referred me as he had a terrific experience as well. I highly recommend this over the cold harsh and low value vet experience any day! @gentlepetcrossing

I am so grateful for the opportunity for in home care for my dog at the end of her life. I didn’t want her to be shaking and scared like she is when we go to the vet. The company let me reschedule with no extra charge in a moment of panic. When the time came, Dr. Dash was so kind and thoughtful during the whole procedure. Talking with her at the end also gave me reassurance that I made the right decision for Zoey and that it was the right time. I highly recommend them.

Our cat Oyster unexpectedly passed away and with broken hearts I came across Gentle Pets for the cremation. Their service is top notch - heartfelt, quick, and gentle. Juan is a true gem of a human - from picking up Oy to meeting me to bring his remains home, Juan was just so genuine for our truly sad experience. Their location is like a pet spa and we were glad Oyster was treated so well as he went to heaven. Thank you

It’s been a while since I’ve lost the love of my life, my furry baby House. We’ve been together for 12 happy years. We moved from another country together, settling down here together, we have come through so many things, and there is such a story behind his life … but this life was interrupted unexpectedly. Words can’t describe how I felt at that moment and was not ready to figure out what to do next.The initial thought that crossed my mind was the possibility of cremation. I’ve started a search on Google and reached out to various end-of-life service providers in the Miami-Dade area. Unfortunately, most of my calls went unanswered, and the few that did respond failed to provide clear explanations regarding their services, the duration of the process, and, most importantly, none were willing to accommodate my request to bring my baby to their facility on that Sunday; they only offered a pick-up option.I tried to communicate my concerns and explain that I was not able to entrust my baby to a random stranger who would come to pick him up, I wanted to make sure that my baby would be treated with dignity and respect in a suitable environment, and I wanted to see people who are in charge. I just wanted to feel comfortable with this service provider in such a delicate situation, but again, nobody agreed to let me come. Nobody EXCEPT Juanique. She exhibited compassion, and empathy, expressed her condolences, and agreed to schedule an appointment within a couple of hours. Despite being unfamiliar with aquamation at that point, I instinctively felt a sense of trust in her and decided to entrust my baby to her care.Our journey from Downtown Miami to Fort Lauderdale, where their facility was located, was lengthy. However, upon entering, I immediately realized that my decision to choose Janique's service was the correct one.I appreciate Gentle Pet Crossing staff for making a challenging experience more bearable through their professionalism, transparency, and genuine concern for both pets and their owners. Juanique and Macario, thank you for helping us to navigate this difficult journey with grace and respect. Thank you for that extra step that you made as well.I highly recommend Gentle Pet Crossing to anyone seeking compassionate and environmentally conscious services for their beloved pets.

I can honestly say these guys are amazing. I got my bird cremated and they made this process as smooth as possible. I expected to go in and give my bird to them and come back in two weeks. They gave me so much more and time to say good buy in a private room , I had my own time slot so I didn’t have to see anyone else. The package was reasonable and I got a beautiful box with my birds name engraved. I 1000 percent recommend them! Thank you so much for caring for my baby!

I want to thank Gentle Pet Crossing for everything they did for my daughter and myself. We made a tough choice but they made it so much easier from the first call to the picking up our Matilda’s remains. She walked us through it all even though we had been through it 7 weeks prior but in the Vet’s office. This time it was at home and I’m my arms and at peace. I would give 10 stars if I could. Gentle Pet Crossing is a great place! I used them twice they were very caring in this difficult moment and price is very reasonable. They also give you the ashes with a picture of your pet and a piece of the fur in a glass with a nice post card with comforting words about the pet.

I’ve always loved the thought of aquamation, even before my littlest one fell ill. Unfortunately, she became ill suddenly and we didn’t want her to suffer anymore than she had. They sent a vet to our home that same day and assisted in our princess going to eternal rest. I finally brought “her” back home today and the hair clipping, paw print and wooden box with the remains are beautiful. They returned her bed and blankets to me very well taken care of. The process, while difficult emotionally, was very professional and calming on their end. Thank you.

Lost my baby of 17 years. Her name was Muffy. It was one of the most difficult experiences I had to deal with. I struggled with the decision of burying her in the back yard as did not want to leave her behind if we moved. Also the traditional cremation was not my first option as I've read many reviews of people receiving other pets' remains and the whole cremation experience of been burned does not bring you a peaceful feeling. After looking in the internet as you are probably right now, was lucky enough to find Gentle Pet Crossing. I had no idea there was another option and aquamation felt like the right choice. I made a phone call and spoke to one of the owners. She explained the process. I waited for our baby to pass at home as we wanted to spend time with her afterwards. I then took her to Gentle Pet Crossing where I met Juanique. It was just us. It was quiet. A candle was placed for her and there are notes where we can write our goodbyes. It was simple, serene and a peaceful moment. I was grateful for it. The aquamation felt more of a gentle way for her to go. Her ashes were returned to us within 5 days. Also, they were more affordable than the traditional cremation. I felt I made the right decision and Juanique was very kind to me in this difficult moment. I can tell you from this experience I would not have done it any other way. I ordered the paw print. Received the small box with her ashes, the death certificate and a bit of her hair. I am very grateful they were there for us. I think and feel that it has also helped me in the grieving process. I hope you find the right way for you and your family and that you find peace. Home euthanasia of your pet is a Great option for a very difficult situation. My dog was 70 lbs and not able to walk well at all in his final days. The thought of how stressful it was going to be for me to try to get him into the car and take him to the vet to be euthanized was enough for me to consider the option of having the vet come out to my home to put him down. I cannot say enough about how much easier it made the entire process as it was already an emotional and stressful time and I am certain that he was more at ease being in his home during his final moments and I certainly know that it made the experience easier on me emotionally to not be worried and stressed about getting him to the vet which was never his favorite place. I helped the doctor take him out to her vehicle afterwards which was something I was grateful to assist with and they contacted me just a few days later to advise me his remains were available to pick up. I would highly recommend their service to anyone desiring an easier way to part with their beloved pet in the privacy of their own home. The doctor who came out took her time and explained what to expect and never made me feel rushed to say my goodbyes… priceless

I found this place by a Google search and I'm so glad I did. I made the appointment over the phone with Jacque and the next day met with Juanique. Juanique was so kind and patient with us. We went over everything and any further questions I had or if I wanted to add anything, I could simply send a text and would get a response within minutes. We received our Minnie back within 4 days and all her belongings (as requested, unwashed) packaged together. They are so professional and kind hearted. My rabbit passed away unexpectedly this week and I had no idea that a place like this existed until I needed these services. My partner found them on Google so I gave them a call and I started crying immediately but Steele was so patient and kind with me in that moment of vulnerability. Steele stated that we could meet at the Fort Lauderdale location at 1700 to drop off my rabbit to be aquamated. I greatly appreciated the quick turnaround time cause we dropped him off on Monday and I received his ashes back on Friday. Again I cried when I opened the bag with his remains, locks of hair, and paw prints. I was so glad I decided to do this service cause I was in no way disappointed by the process. I highly recommend this company if you find yourself in need of the services they offer.

Even though it was after hours when I contacted them, they responded to me quickly, answered my questions and set up an appointment for me to bring Sudoku in the following morning. The gentleman in my profile picture passed in his sleep in his ripe old age of almost 16. Because he was not ill, it was still a shock. The vet said they were "busy" so I called Gentle Pet. The response and care was immediate. The quality of products and services was top notch. Max went out on a gurney looking like a king.Most important was the patience, sympathy and empathy that was expressed as I said goodbye to my only child. They were understanding about the grief and flexible with any request made. If you want to be sure that your baby receives the best of the best one final time, use Gentle Pet. Our little Snickers was suffering due to dementia, so after some research, we decided to call Gentle Pet Crossing. Dr. Rachel came to the house and was so gentle with Snickers. After the aquamation process was completed, we were given his ashes in a beautiful wooden box, along with a vial of his hair clippings and certificate of death. The location in Ft Lauderdale was beautiful and clean and they have a prayer room on site with candles and a box to leave your pet a message.

Thank you so much for everything! Our experience with Gentle Pet Crossing was absolutely helpful in navigating such a hard time when we lost our dog. Jacque was extremely compassionate and patient with us from the first time I contacted her to get information on the aquamation process, while we said our goodbyes in their tranquil Ft Lauderdale location and all the way through until he was ready to be picked up to come home. I greatly appreciated the quick turnaround time cause we dropped him off on Monday and I received his ashes back on Friday. Again I cried when I opened the bag with his remains, locks of hair, and paw prints. I was so glad I decided to do this service cause I was in no way disappointed by the process. I highly recommend this company if you find yourself in need of the services they offer.

This is my second duck that we brought here for cremation. The staff is kind, accommodating and give you space to spend time with your beloved pet. This is the way every pet should cross into heaven. Thank you for making our ducks feel so special.

My cat Sudoku passed away recently. My friend informed me about Gentle Pet Crossing. Even though it was after hours when I contacted them, they responded to me quickly, answered my questions and set up an appointment for me to bring Sudoku in the following morning. From the initial conract to picking up her ashes, all went well. I dropped her off on Saturday and she was ready in 5 days. Thanks for helping this difficult time a little easier.
