This funeral home is one of a kind. There are no words to express how outstanding and flawless this process was. Steve and the whole team were attentive to every detail and ensured that the services we held for such an important and loved person in our lives were met to the highest standards. The whole team was supportive, interactive, and excellent throughout the process. Steve and the team, the Martell family, send their most heartfelt thank you and well wishes. Please keep being excellent for those going through such a hard time and continue to make the process as easy as possible. Maria as point person along with Cassidy, Jamie and Steve (Director) were compassionate and walked us along the entire journey of laying my father to rest. They answered all of my questions and took care of all the unpleasant but necessary details to help one focus on healing after a loved one passes. Steve, Jamie and Maria has been very helpful. Steve was patient and at the same time humorous as he walked us through the details and all the paperwork needed after my husband's passing. It definitely helped to take some of the edge away as we went through this painful process of my husband's unexpected passing. There was a hiccup with the death certificate but Maria was on top of following up with that and I'm truly grateful that got resolved. They took very good care of my husband while he was in their care. The service was beautiful and everyone who attended had the same comments. All the details were reviewed and asked for my approval - Jamie was assisting on all these. Definitely recommend them - very compassionate and treated us with respect.

I can't say enough about everyone at Brewer & Sons Funeral home. In the last days of my mother in-laws journey home I had notified them she was in hospice care. I wanted to make sure they were made aware. From that point on I receive calls asking how we were doing. They are compassionate they truly care not only for our loved ones but the grieving. When we went to clear out her room at the nursing home her roommate told us the way she was taken out was beautiful, That meant so much. I truly appreciate them. God Bless

The director Steve as well as the other staff at Brewers and Sons Clermont was so helpful with the passing of my mother. From the moment we initially walked in, we were greeted with compassion and professionalism. Being my first time having to make funeral arrangements, Steve was able to walk my family and I through process in step by step details and handled everything with extreme care and thoughtfulness. The day my father passed the team at Brewer & Sons, in Clermont worked with us to make arrangements to have him picked up that same evening. They were very kind, empathetic, and patient with us in planning & making arrangements for the service for my father. Steve was amazing. Very thorough. Also, a special thanks to Karen who sat with my Mother & I, sharing stories with us & for staying late so we could get my Fathers belongings together & there for the service.I cannot thank you all enough for truly putting together what turned out to be a true celebration of my Fathers life.

I can’t thank Brewer and Sons, especially Jamie and Steve, for taking such great care of my Dad after his passing. They took care of everything and went above and beyond to help me through this already hard time. They showed compassion and bent over backwards to help me. We had an issue with flying his body out to CO and I thought I wouldn’t be able to make his wishes come true and they made it happen. I’m forever grateful to them and their team. I wish I could give 10 stars instead of just 5. I will recommend them to anyone who wants their loved one cared for as if it was their own.

Disappointed by staffs disrespectful tone. I was delivering flowers for a funeral happening that day. There’s no signs or system in play to help direct this very common scenario. The only employee was George who proceeded to tell say without mentioning who he is or what to do “are you kidding me there’s a funeral going on get out of get out of here”. Very unprofessional and of low standards. Seems like there’s not much organization or respect in this establishment. I was chased down by the another employee and given proper instructions on what to do with a beautiful flower arrangement for a mourning family. Just wanted to share my experience.

DON’T HESITATE- GO WITH THEM!!If I could give Barry Brewer and his staff 6 stars, than I would. The collective compassion that this team has is not only favorable in hiring a firm for the arrangements for a loved one, but it was healing. We were treated with the utmost respect. As a one stop shop, they remember every detail so you don’t have to. They lovingly guide the family and before you know it, everyone just experienced the most moving and touching funeral they have ever been to. Even his limo drivers were extraordinary. My father is in heaven now, and all family and friends have peace in their hearts thanks to Brewer & Sons. (We used them for both my uncle and father’s wakes and funerals.)

In one of the saddest times of my life after losing my mom, I have found incredible comfort in working with everyone at Brewer & Sons. I truly can't thank everyone enough at both the Brooksville and Clermont locations for being so collaborative and communicative throughout the entire process. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend anyone who has lost someone dear to them, or that wants to proactively look at services, to consider Brewer & Sons. The Director truly knows how to support families in their time of need. And if you are lucky enough to work with her. They truly have a shining star named Maria S. at their Clermont location. Maria is honestly the most nurturing and caring person I have ever encountered in a service related position. I don't know how I could have actually gotten through this without her. If you decide you need these types of services, I hope you get to have the same great experience that I desperately needed after my mom's sudden passing.

Super understanding and will treat you like family. No one ever wants to imagine losing their loved one and going through this extremely tough process. They make the process easy and simple, they put your and your family needs in each step of the process. They will respect you and help you if you ask for it. For example they walked me through every step needed for my father's passing explaining why or the process when needed. They have even sat with me and brought comfort to me during this tough time. Stephen Roosevelt, was very patient and understanding caring made the process as easy as possible. Walked me through everything that was going to go on at the service. He attended the service. To make sure that no one had dropped my husband on the ground carrying in to his place of rest. The dove release is very nice. Everything went off without a hitch. I will be using them again, I will be making my plans early so my family won’t have to deal with this. My family is all out of town, and it makes it difficult when they don’t know what your final wishes are. Thank you again Steven for all the time and patience, You put up with my husbands family. Steve and Jaime are the sweetest people you ever want to meet. When my husband died unexpectedly, I did not know. what to do. I know I would have never gotten through this with out them. They and the rest of the staff are so caring and attended to my every need. They did not try to push anything on me I could not afford or did not want. Very disappointed very unprofessional on every avenue!!! My cousin was not in a car wreck and looked nothing like her even with a picture!!! Family closed the casket before the friends and rest of the family could see her! My heart went out to her husband,sister,brother, her children and Granddaughter!!!! To top it off on the service day family was still in the chapel taking the flowers out before they exited!!! That is a no no very disappointed!!! Hope you guys make changes because I will never send anyone that way! My father in law worked in the same place when it was Kurfiss funeral home! My thing is respect always!

My mom died on January 24 andwas finally cremated 3 weeks later. In fairness the medical examiner didn't release her for about 10 days but I was told they'd "get her on the schedule" asap. I had to initiateevery communication . On our initial call they said they'd be available 24/7 but I had to talk with an after hours service if I called after 4pm. They mispelled my mom's name multiple times and didn't send her death certificate when they said they would. It seemed something else always took precidence over my family. Strongly suggest looking for other options.

Over $6,000 just to carry a casket to the gravesite and lower it???? Frankly, folks, this is highway robbery! My family was extremely disappointed with Brewer & Sons Funeral Home. We used them over 20 years ago when it was called by a different name, and that's the only reason why we called them this year. My brother in law's body had already been taken when we found out how much it would cost just to take the his body to the gravesite. And worst of all, they wanted ALL the money up front!!!! Talk about taking advantage of people at a bad time, knowing they have you over a barrell! The total cost of the funeral (my brother in law did not have life insurance. He died young) was almost $7,000--and that was with no service, no embalming. That was the cost of storing the body, a casket and lining, taking the body to the grave site and menial things. It is, indeed, highway robbery. And greed of the worst kind, to be taking advantage of people during grief. This DID NOT include embalming or a service at the funeral home. That would have cost thousands more!!! So we had a closed casket "service" at the grave site. (And note: The CITY digs the hole the body will be buried in--NOT the funeral home!!!! So that wasn't even included in the cost!) Then to top it off, three of the funeral homes "representatives" made their imposing presence known, in full view, behind another brother in law, who was giving the service, with impatient looks on their faces, as if impatiently waiting for the quick service to be over. No smiles. No invisibility. Shifting from foot to foot, I was expecting one of them, at any moment to look at his or her watch. They were also rude, I hear, when my in laws were discussing business with them. Run from this place as far as you can run, and go to the nearest funeral home in the opposite direction of them. If this is the way to get rich quick, folks, then I'm in the "wrong" business.
