Stay as far away from this place, it should be reported to Attorney General and Dept. Of Consumer Protection . In fact I'm sending out letters to each department tomorrow.It's been 9 months since my Mom passed, still NO ENGRAVING on her stone when she passed, they won't return your calls once they talk to you.Between the Funeral home and this "monument company" pointing fingers at each other we still have no engraving even though it's been paid for.DO NOT under ANY circumstances use this company.

I wanted to leave no stars, but this review would not let me.My mother passed away Nov 2022, I called Rockville Monument a week after her funeral to have the date she passed engraved, they told me paper work would be sent in April 2023. Early May I realized I had not received and gave them a call, I was then told I would get in June, they were behind due to weather.Early July, I called and nobody answered and I left a message, no call back, end of July called, no answer, left message and again, no call back.As I leave this post middle of September, I still have not received a call back or paperwork, nor do I expect to.Rockville Monument is in the business of dealing with people that are grieving and we should not have chase them down to have engraving done.They are not the only business that does this type of work in the area and I did reach out to another local company (in Enfield).I am happy to say my moms date is now engraved and the whole process took less than a month.

I went with my elderly mother to pick out a stone for herself. She wanted to know we had something pleasant to visit and remember her by. Kris was very kind and patient with her until she was satisfied with her design and kept us updated as waited for production. I also found out he recently took ownership and I’m happy to support a local small business.

DO NOT under any circumstances use this company. My father passed away in January. My mother through her grief has been trying for the past 6 months to get the date of his passing engraved on their headstone. First told that they were backlogged but they had the contract and her check. Then, the contract and the check were missing. Then the owner told myMother that she would look into it and keep her informed on a regular basis on the progress. And now here we sit- still nothing done 9 months after his passing, they will not acknowledge messages , and you can’t actually call them and leave a message because their mailbox is full. Disgusting way to treat a 78 year old widow who is merely trying to get them to actually do the job she paid for. You should be ashamed of yourselves. A flipping response to the numerous messages she has left you would at least make it look like you actually care.
