Justin is one of the most kind and caring person I've ever met. I truly mean that. He explained the entire process of what would be happening to my 6.5 lbs dog, Daisy and I felt a lot better because of it. He eased all of the worries I had. Thank you Justin from the bottom of my heart.

We took our chihuahua Kyle here to be cremated. We paid for the servive as well as a paw print. They never took the paw print handed us a bag with a white box, and after I called they informed me that they did not take a print. I was informed that each pet is assigned a number, but I have no way of knowing what is in the box. It could be planting soil. Also they tell you that it would take 2 weeks, but we waited longer. I would never trust them again with any services. You may say it was only a dog, but how do you know what you get. I will never use this company again i gave 2 stars for their "caring" acting abilitiesI am updating my review as some of the information is not correctI contacted the funeral home to ha Kyle cremated.My husband took Kyle in and we were told it would be 2 weeks. This was on January 3rd.On January 20thit could be another day or so.I called the office at 10:02 am and was told that the cremation was done but not the paperwork. I got a call that we would have to wait.Customer service should never use all capital letters, as it implys yelling.I just ask for a refund for the pawprint as we did not receive it.Please remember that you provide a sad service to the residents of Pueblo and should not raise your voice, actually or online

I can't begin to tell you how great Bob, Diane and Rachel treated me in handling the care of my son who passed away unexpectedly. They were there beginning to end in spite of a very embarrassing relative who did nothing but harass them and all the while kept their composure and showed what great professionals they are. The care that Montgomery & Steward gave my family as they helped arrange services, etc, for my grandmother on very short notice is beyond words. It is never an easy experience dealing with the death of a loved one, but knowing that my grandmother was treated with respect and kindness and that her husband’s wishes for her service were honored helped tremendously. Thank you!

Usually have great experiences with this place, especially with the cremation of fur babies, but we paid for extra paw prints and only one was made. Funds were returned but it is a huge upset for our family and that is not something we can just redo. For being in the funeral industry, I would hope they would be more attentive to details like that.As you can see obviously it is the patron’s fault for the way the director misinterpreted the way their admin staff wrote out the receipt. It was charged in the way we had requested but didn’t work out that way. That’s unfortunately how social media works though, you mess up its public. As there is no way for us to get paw prints or anything again, this 1-star review is all I can do to make myself feel not so angry and upset in this time of grieving and maybe people will see it in the future and won’t face the same problem.

If I could give Gerry and Dian 10 star review, I would! They are the most compassionate and caring people I have ever known.Every family they serve, at their time of need, is met with individual care and compassion. They listen intently and do everything within their power to honor the family's requests. Their calm demeanor sets people at ease. This is a special gift to the families they serve. Gerry and Dian remove as much stress from the family as they can so that the family can freely deal with other things during their time of need. That's special.Gerry and Dian also care for fur babies with compassion. In my case my little bird who was my baby for years, he was in his mid 50's and my heart was broken after I lost him. They are animal lovers as well and they understand how losing a pet can affect the owner. They treat your pet and you with respect.In conclusion, no matter what your reasons for seeking the services from Montgomery and Steward Funeral Directors, know that you will never regret choosing them because they will take care of your needs with care, compassion and respect.

Our family had a wonderful experience with Gerry and Dian. It was easy to talk to them about the details of the arrangements we made. They genuinely cared about us; they were kind and nonjudgemental; they were supportive and patient with us even when asked the same questions. Not only do they have impeccable people skills, they have top notch professional and technical skills. They are able to take care of any type of arrangement you decide on. Their ability to live stream the service and upload the service to their website predates the pandemic. Gerry also helped me put together our video tribute. We are so thankful for the online obituary that will stay online for many years to come.

This is a phenomenal funeral home. The owners and staff go above and beyond in providing stellar service for grieving families during this most difficult time of their lives. The sensitivity and compassion shown is second to none. During recent years, Gerry and Diane and their staff have handled the services for two family members and a couple of friends and they have done so with class and finesse without being overly intrusive! The ambience is serene and comfortable; I encourage everyone reading this to allow Montgomery Steward to assist you and your family during the difficult times which accompany the death of a loved one!

Since my father passed recently and his wife chose this place, I am grateful to all of the staff there. Rachel has been so amazing and helpful, they have answered all my questions and concerns. There's not another funeral home in the state of Colorado with more compassion. Gerry and Dian Montgomery and Marvin Steward are so organized and thoughtful. My Grandmother's service was so beautiful and fitting for her life. They really listen to the grieving family's wishes and go beyond. They think for you during your time of loss.

Edited to add, i called right when i posted this 3 weeks ago. Called and left my number and have yet to get a call back. SO professional, not.My step father was taken by his estranged son and hidden from his family in Colorado. We searched months for him only to find out that he was cremated at this establishment. Sad nothing was questioned . Now my family never will have closure. We never got to say goodbye or have a ceremony. Blank obituary as well which is heartbreaking considering he was a veteran. Have no idea where his ashes went as well but they should be with his wife, who wasnt even told her husband passed away.

Thankfully I have not needed them for anybody in my life but they have been there for both of my puppies. They are very compassionate and sensitive to the loss of these love of mine. I know that they will take great care of the cremation. I would not use anybody else in that time of need. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart and my family's.

THESE EMPLOYEES WILL STALK YOU ON YOUR WALKS AND FOLLOW YOU AROUND. DO NOT EVEN GO NEAR THIS PLACE. THEY ARE INSANE. RAN BY WEIRD MEN THAT WILL WAIT FOR YOU TO COME OUT OF YOUR HOUSE AND FOLLOW YOU AROUND. Personally I have been harassed TWICE by this business. TEN YEARS apart. And don’t get me started on how they treat customers. All of my deceased pets papers were SPELT WRONG.
