A Paws in Time is absolutely amazing! I was blown away at the service Nate and his brother provided to me and my family. He was kind, considerate and helped me navigate through this hard time. First of all, I would like to mention how Nate answered my phone call after hours. When I came in the next day, Nate was waiting at the door for me to pull up, he then came out to our car with a beautiful table for Louie to be taken inside. He then gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. It was an amazing little ceremony we had for my best friend, which he deserved for giving us so much joy over the past 13yrs. Nate helped me pick out a really nice urn with Louie's picture engraved on top. Most places I called said it would take weeks to cremate my pet. Nate called me 3 days later to let me know Lou was cremated. I was extremely pleased with how we were treated at A Paws in Time. What an beautiful way to serve your community by helping ppl remember their loved ones. I will never forget the genuine kindness and how helpful Nate was in a very hard time for me and my family. We had a very wonderful experience with A Paws in Time! We chose not to use our local Colorado Springs chain facility due to the negative press about animals being improperly stored. We took our beloved cat Asher to this family owned business and have no regrets. The pricing was reasonable. The work was completed in a timely manner. The staff were friendly, respectful, and accommodating. We are also confident that we received the remains of only our pet, which was another concern with the chain facility that I was not willing to risk. 5 star experience all around. I will be going back to a Paws in Time next time their services are needed!

They were Amazing! They are sensitive to your situation, considerate, and caring!! I was and still am heartbroken that my baby (cane corso) Kong Flowers has passed but they made me feel at ease. The actual office and the grieving rooms are just outstanding, warm, and calming. I appreciate them so much, they took care of my baby great! I definitely recommend. I called their number in the evening because our guinea pig (Blackbean) passed away and Logan answered. I was expecting an answering service being after hours. He was so empathetic and genuinely kind. Explained everything thoroughly and had me bring her first thing yesterday morning. He greeted me at the door and made my experience the best ever, given the circumstances. He let me take my time with saying my goodbyes and was in no rush to get me out the door. You can tell him and his brother genuinely care about the families and aren't just in it for the money. To me, he went above and beyond for me and our guinea pig. Thank you again, so much!

Suddenly losing a fur-baby is never a good thing, but I am so glad we found A Paws in Time! Logan was professional, kind, and empathetic. Communication from inquiry to final pick-up was very responsive. The office is serene and you are brought into a private room to say your last physical goodbyes. Logan assures you have as much time as you need. You really feel as if your furry family member is in excellent hands and will be treated with respect. It is all very dignified. Logan's parting words are that he "hopes he doesn't have to see you again," but when the time comes, we will definitely use A Paws in Time again for our furry loved-ones.

We found the incredibly caring staff of A Paws in Time when my daughter lost her little best friend (her bunny) . Our experience with them was so amazing I knew that we would be back when it was time … that time came right before the holidays and our 11 year old boxer crossed the rainbow bridge.I haven’t been able to find the right words to describe these young men other than “they are angels” . The compassion, patience, honesty we received in such a horrible and heartbreaking time meant the world to us.They offer different products but never for one second made us feel pressured to purchase anything we didn’t alwaysWant.They listened and went above and beyond our wishes.They offer such dignity to our furry loved ones and as much as I don’t want to have to see them again, they are the only ones I will ever trust in this situation!!!I can’t say enough . I wish more people in the world could have HALF of the genuine compassion these guys have, it would be a better place !

In the unfortunate event that you need to use a service like this, A Paws in Time is a wonderful choice. Logan, Nate and Jessica were compassionate and kind, and truly made a difficult experience as comfortable and seamless as possible. They got us in right away and handled the entire process empathetically. They offer private, peaceful rooms with soft music, dim lighting, plenty of tissues and a comfy couch to say your final goodbyes. My best boy was treated with dignity and respect, and I had his ashes back less than a week later. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do and I appreciated that so much in such a tough situation. Can’t thank them enough.

I don't know where to begin because I'm so emotional. I guess I can start with how smooth the process was. I had to put my cat down due to old age, and the animal shelter gave me their contact information. I was able to contact them within a day. Logan was super understanding and professional. He went beyond expectations and brought my beautiful tortie Brookie in his care. Took about a week to get her remains, which is a pretty fast turn around time (at least to me). When I arrived, I was greeted with kindness and respect. It was an easy checkout process. Logan even said to come back for coffee, but hopefully not another cremation. So funny! I truly needed that. This is the first pet I've lost, so the impact in my life has been crazy. But they will take care of your baby(ies) well. Included with the cremation, I got a paw print mold of her toe beans. I paid for ink copies of her nose and her paw. And they kept extras just incase I lose them. What a great service. Thank you, Nate & Logan, for making this so easy.

My 14 year old cat got really sick just as I lost my job, so I had no money to save her. It was really hard to handle because she was still being herself just 4 days earlier. I was super depressed and they didn't rush me when I showed up near closing time and let me stay and cry for like 30 minutes. They're very understanding and polite and made the process easier than I thought it would be. I'll remember her forever and thanks to Paws I have some keepsakes of her adorable fuzzy paws.

As hard as it was losing my bestfriend, A Paws In Time had such an important part to play. The hard decision came faster than I ever could have imagined.. With this being my first loss, myself being a complete mess, not knowing how it was going to play out, Logan was able to be there same day. Unfortunately it was very late but he showed with such amazing energy. His kindness and patience was everything I could have ask for through this extremely hard time. After all was said and done, the cremation process was quick, easy and I was able to pick up my girl in just a couple days. Although I still cannot find the courage or the words to say goodbye to our sweet boy, Raptor, my heart is overflowing with gratitude to A Paws in Time. I recently had to say goodbye to my very good dog, Grace. Logan and the team at A Paws in Time were immediately able to accommodate my request to privately cremate her. I said my goodbyes at home and genuinely thought it would just be a formality, handing her over, when I arrived. Nate did a fantastic job while our family was going through the hardest day we’ve endured in a long time. Nate responded quickly and was okay with phone calls or texting.Communication was excellent.We knew our Nacho Chip wasn’t doing well but, we expected a few more weeks to plan and love on him. That was not the case.I sent A Paws In Time a email @ 2:30-3AM and Nate contacted us before the business opened. Nate understood the situation we were in with Nacho and, he was flexible since we did not know when the vet would come to help Nacho go to sleep. We were not rushed into anything and, Nate reassured me when Nacho passed he would take care of everything else (after we took our big guy for his last ride to A Paws In Time).The business is set up very well. Just like a proper funeral home on a smaller scale. The facility was clean, smelled good and the set-up Nacho Chip received was 1st class all the way. Nate did not rush us even though we brought Nacho in 40 minutes prior to closing. We were able to say our final farewell’s.(I very much appreciated Nate telling me we will settle the bill when we picked up Nacho’s ashes.) Nacho’s ashes were ready a few days later as promised.

Thank you for taking care of our sweet Snowflake. When our hamster passed away suddenly, my daughter was absolutely devastated. This was the first time she had lost a pet and she couldn’t stand the thought of burying her in the yard in case we move away. I was glad to see that A Paws in Time offered cremation for small animals. When we arrived, the staff was so kind and we never felt as though Snowflake was “just a hamster.” Her little body was treated with dignity and the process was very gentle from start to finish. We are so grateful for the unsurpassed, professional service that Logan and Nate are providing through A Paws In Time. Our sweet, 17 year old Samoyed mix, Alaska, passed on and both Logan and Nate were able to thoroughly answer our questions. From the moment we called we knew that we were speaking to professionals who knew what they were talking about and who truly understood our loss. Walking into the facility only further validated that the family’s combined experience and knowledge in the funeral industry has helped to elevate their offerings in pet equivalent services. The kind and understanding demeanor of everyone at A Paws in Time made the entire process so much easier to cope with, and the service we received surpassed that of the other cremation services we have used in the past, including those here in Buena Vista, CO and in the Denver area, making it well worth the two hour drive. I also appreciate that Logan and Nate’s business ethics are leagues above similar businesses, most of which appear to be price gouging pet owners when they are in an emotionally trying, vulnerable state. Unfortunately, I experienced that very thing about a year before, when our cat passed away and I utilized the pet cremation company that has shut down most of the small family-run, pet crematories in Colorado. We are forever grateful for the compassion that we were shown and the exceptional care that Alaska received. Although we’re in no hurry to have to go through the loss again, we know that when the time comes we won’t hesitate to entrust A Paws in Time with our pet’s final arrangements, once again.

I recently had to fly to Colorado to help my 86 yr old mom who had been evacuated due to the Quarry Fire. Logan & Nate were just the BEST. Having recently lost our beloved puppy, the wound is very fresh and emotions of course very high. They handled our beloved puppy with the same Love and Care we gave him during his life. We can't say enough about their empathy and understanding; it was just the absolute best! I am forever grateful for Logan and A Paws in Time. When the most horrible day of my life came and my sweet boy Monty passed after 15 amazing years Logan treated me with the utmost respect, empathy, and grace. I was a total mess and never once did I feel rushed, uncomfortable, or judged. Though I never wanted to imagine having to go through this, choosing A Paws In Time was the best decision that we could have made. Logan met us in the parking lot and assisted taking Monty into the facility. The family room where Monty was placed was peaceful, and Logan allowed me and my family to sit there and cry for as long as we needed to. I was able to choose a lovely urn with a photo, paw print mold, ink prints, and even the sweetest memorial video. Logan and his wife are amazing people. If i could give 10 stars, I would. Its a holiday weekend and most places are booked or closed. My cat, Levi, passed away this morning unexpectedly. I cannot express our utmost gratitude for Logan and team. We lost our beloved dog Bart at around the age of 16 on Saturday July 1st. Bart was a rescue who came home with us at 8 years old and he has absolutely filled our hearts with love for the last 7 1/2 years. I can't say enough wonderful things about Logan and Nate and A Paws in Time! From the two initial phone calls with them, I knew that I had found the right place for my special request of cremation for my two beloved cats that I'd buried in the backyard long ago and planned to disinter before moving out of my home. Both of them warm and compassionate, these two brothers clearly love what they're doing and wanted me to have the best experience possible. Nate came by to pick up my cats' long buried remains and handled them like the precious creatures they'd been to me. When I went to pick up the ashes afterwards I had a lovely conversation with Logan and Nate about their family business. They also generously extended a discount on their fees, a most welcome surprise. As hard as it was losing my bestfriend, A Paws In Time had such an important part to play. The hard decision came faster than I ever could have imagined.. With this being my first loss, myself being a complete mess, not knowing how it was going to play out, Logan was able to be there same day. In such circumstances, you want to call someone who will immediately answer your phone and respond with compassion. When I lost my guinea pig Rebecca I was not only devastated, but trying to find a cremation service that would care for her the way I did. I couldn’t leave her with just anyone. Not only did I love the name, but when my brother called A Paws In Time the next morning he spoke of how gentle and caring Nate had sounded on the phone and how he genuinely sounded like he cared and understood the process we were going through. The entire time I was there I didn’t feel rushed to say goodbye or make decisions. When we finished the paperwork, Nate said he would do his best to get all of Rebecca’s paws on the paw mold so I didn’t have to pick just one, and explained that nose prints were harder for small pets so if it didn’t turn out they wouldn’t charge us for it. Once it was time to pay he offered us a payment plan, which are not usually offered for anything animal related. Everything turned out beautifully and I got Rebecca home in the time frame they gave. All that to say, they genuinely care. This isn’t a cash grab situation that prays on grieving families who just lost someone important. Nate and Logan were the perfect blend of empathetic and understanding, I am so grateful for A Paws In Time and will trust them with my other small pets once the time comes. I wouldn’t choose anyone else. (Thank you guys <3)

A Paws in Time exceeded my expectations on every level. Our dog suddenly passed away on Christmas Eve and Logan was so accommodating. He actually answered the phone and went out of his way to meet me so that I could drop our dog off. He was very compassionate and carried her in for me and explained everything. This is such a special and peaceful place for cremation services. This is the first time we had to find somewhere to cremate our special boy so we didn’t know what to expect. We thought when we dropped him off at the curb that was it, but we were pleasantly surprised that they brought him in and presented him so sweetly for our young children to say their final goodbye. They had an amazing room set up for us with special notepads for the kids and us to leave messages and pictures and we were able to take as much time as we needed before leaving. Nate did a fantastic job while our family was going through the hardest day we’ve endured in a long time. Nate responded quickly and was okay with phone calls or texting.Communication was excellent.We knew our Nacho Chip wasn’t doing well but, we expected a few more weeks to plan and love on him. That was not the case.I sent A Paws In Time a email @ 2:30-3AM and Nate contacted us before the business opened. Nate understood the situation we were in with Nacho and, he was flexible since we did not know when the vet would come to help Nacho go to sleep. We were not rushed into anything and, Nate reassured me when Nacho passed he would take care of everything else (after we took our big guy for his last ride to A Paws In Time).The business is set up very well. Just like a proper funeral home on a smaller scale. The facility was clean, smelled good and the set-up Nacho Chip received was 1st class all the way. Nate did not rush us even though we brought Nacho in 40 minutes prior to closing. We were able to say our final farewell’s.(I very much appreciated Nate telling me we will settle the bill when we picked up Nacho’s ashes.) Nacho’s ashes were ready a few days later as promised.

Thank you for taking care of our sweet Snowflake. When our hamster passed away suddenly, my daughter was absolutely devastated. This was the first time she had lost a pet and she couldn’t stand the thought of burying her in the yard in case we move away. We are so grateful for the unsurpassed, professional service that Logan and Nate are providing through A Paws In Time. Our sweet, 17 year old Samoyed mix, Alaska, passed on and both Logan and Nate were able to thoroughly answer our questions. From the moment we called we knew that we were speaking to professionals who knew what they were talking about and who truly understood our loss. Walking into the facility only further validated that the family’s combined experience and knowledge in the funeral industry has helped to elevate their offerings in pet equivalent services. The kind and understanding demeanor of everyone at A Paws in Time made the entire process so much easier to cope with, and the service we received surpassed that of the other cremation services we have used in the past, including those here in Buena Vista, CO and in the Denver area, making it well worth the two hour drive. I also appreciate that Logan and Nate’s business ethics are leagues above similar businesses, most of which appear to be price gouging pet owners when they are in an emotionally trying, vulnerable state. Unfortunately, I experienced that very thing about a year before, when our cat passed away and I utilized the pet cremation company that has shut down most of the small family-run, pet crematories in Colorado. We are forever grateful for the compassion that we were shown and the exceptional care that Alaska received. Although we’re in no hurry to have to go through the loss again, we know that when the time comes we won’t hesitate to entrust A Paws in Time with our pet’s final arrangements, once again.

A Paws in Time were incredibly kind and understanding during this difficult time for our family. We asked if they might be willing to stay open a bit later than usual in order to accommodate our saying goodbye to our little guy, and they did just that and then some by being available to us and not making us feel rushed. They met us at the door, and set a space that was so peaceful, and encouraged us to take as long as we needed, and that was after we asked them to stay open later! It took me awhile to be able to write this, but Nate and Logan were so kind and respectful after I lost my cat of 12 years. She was my first pet as an adult, so this was the first time I had to deal with the final arrangements. I had pictured the process being very cold and clinical, but when my son and I brought her in, it was very peaceful, she was placed in a room where we could go in and have our final time with her, and it gave me so much peace and closure that I didn't think I'd get that day.There was no pressure or guilt to spend more than I could afford, which was something I was genuinely concerned about and I felt comfortable with the final arrangements.

I cannot say enough nice things about my experience with A Paws in Time! They responded immediately to my phone call on a weekend, were very helpful and compassionate at a tough time. Logan and his wife are amazing people. If i could give 10 stars, I would. Its a holiday weekend and most places are booked or closed. My cat, Levi, passed away this morning unexpectedly. I cannot express our utmost gratitude for Logan and team. We lost our beloved dog Bart at around the age of 16 on Saturday July 1st. Bart was a rescue who came home with us at 8 years old and he has absolutely filled our hearts with love for the last 7 1/2 years. I can't say enough wonderful things about Logan and Nate and A Paws in Time! From the two initial phone calls with them, I knew that I had found the right place for my special request of cremation for my two beloved cats that I'd buried in the backyard long ago and planned to disinter before moving out of my home. Both of them warm and compassionate, these two brothers clearly love what they're doing and wanted me to have the best experience possible. Nate came by to pick up my cats' long buried remains and handled them like the precious creatures they'd been to me. In such circumstances, you want to call someone who will immediately answer your phone and respond with compassion. When I lost my guinea pig Rebecca I was not only devastated, but trying to find a cremation service that would care for her the way I did. I couldn’t leave her with just anyone. Not only did I love the name, but when my brother called A Paws In Time the next morning he spoke of how gentle and caring Nate had sounded on the phone and how he genuinely sounded like he cared and understood the process we were going through. The entire time I was there I didn’t feel rushed to say goodbye or make decisions. When we finished the paperwork, Nate said he would do his best to get all of Rebecca’s paws on the paw mold so I didn’t have to pick just one, and explained that nose prints were harder for small pets so if it didn’t turn out they wouldn’t charge us for it. Once it was time to pay he offered us a payment plan, which are not usually offered for anything animal related. Everything turned out beautifully and I got Rebecca home in the time frame they gave. All that to say, they genuinely care. This isn’t a cash grab situation that prays on grieving families who just lost someone important. Nate and Logan were the perfect blend of empathetic and understanding, I am so grateful for A Paws In Time and will trust them with my other small pets once the time comes. I wouldn’t choose anyone else. (Thank you guys <3)

A Paws in Time exceeded my expectations on every level. Our dog suddenly passed away on Christmas Eve and Logan was so accommodating. This is such a special and peaceful place for cremation services. This is the first time we had to find somewhere to cremate our special boy so we didn’t know what to expect. We thought when we dropped him off at the curb that was it, but we were pleasantly surprised that they brought him in and presented him so sweetly for our young children to say their final goodbye. They had an amazing room set up for us with special notepads for the kids and us to leave messages and pictures and we were able to take as much time as we needed before leaving. A Paws in Time were incredibly kind and understanding during this difficult time for our family. We asked if they might be willing to stay open a bit later than usual in order to accommodate our saying goodbye to our little guy, and they did just that and then some by being available to us and not making us feel rushed. It took me awhile to be able to write this, but Nate and Logan were so kind and respectful after I lost my cat of 12 years. She was my first pet as an adult, so this was the first time I had to deal with the final arrangements. I had pictured the process being very cold and clinical, but when my son and I brought her in, it was very peaceful, she was placed in a room where we could go in and have our final time with her, and it gave me so much peace and closure that I didn't think I'd get that day.There was no pressure or guilt to spend more than I could afford, which was something I was genuinely concerned about and I felt comfortable with the final arrangements.

I have had to put down multiple pets / animals over the years, to include cats, dogs, a pony, and brother and sister horses. My dog was scheduled to be euthanized, but died the day before. You could never say no to him, even if he was being a little mischievous, but you just knew he appreciated you. Then one day he's just not there and you just can't believe it. From a Sat. evening call back for my questions and several days later when I made the final call the services provided were beyond kindness and compassion. Highly, highly recommended. For one, they were cheaper than the three or four other places I'd called for estimates. Cheaper by half, sometimes more than half. These folks were the nicest, compassionate, and most respectful. They included all the paw prints and urn for free, where one place wanted almost 50 additional dollars for paw prints. They clipped a lock of her hair for me too. The price alone is worth it. They treated my little Chi Chi, and the rest of our family, with kindness, dignity and respect. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Last Paws and specifically working with Logan. Our dog passed over a holiday weekend and he was the only pet cremation place to not only pick up the the phone, but to go out of his way to make sure he picked up our dog the same day (when other places told us to take him to a random local ER vet). I recently needed cremation services for our beloved Chihuahua of 18 years. I found this service through Google and I only have the best to say about Logan and The Last Paws Cremation Service. He was a Godsend. He provided the best, most caring and heartfelt service from beginning to end. His father took time out of his day on a Sunday afternoon to pick up my baby's body, and they did not charge me an extra cent for this. Granted he was 5 minutes away from me, but to me this was a blessing as I did not have a place to keep his little body overnight. And then Logan was wonderful to deliver his ashes back to me the following Sunday as it was also in his neighborhood to do so. I hope not to need his services again any time soon only because it's sad to do so, but if you need cremation services for your pet, definitely use The Last Paws. They provide the BEST service you could possibly hope for!!! And if it's possible to give 10 stars, Logan deserves it!!

Losing my little buddy is (and will be) one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. He was just always there, asking for pets or maybe a treat. You could never say no to him, even if he was being a little mischievous, but you just knew he appreciated you. Then one day he's just not there and you just can't believe it. You just want to crawl into a dark corner and stay there.In a time of grief like this, sometimes you just don't want to deal with people or even want to leave your home. Nate and Logan, the two we were in communication with, were very kind and gentle, and made this hard part as comfortable and manageable as possible. From a Sat. evening call back for my questions and several days later when I made the final call the services provided were beyond kindness and compassion. It was so important to know that our almost 19 year old precious girl would share only a few days away from us. We personally brought our girl direct from the vet into the care of A Paws in Time. BEST PLACE !! So my dog had passed away on a Sunday and there was only one place open and I kept calling all day and they didn’t answer . I randomly email this place at night and I didn’t realize they had messaged me right away but that’s something I appreciate because that just shows they pay attention ! Highly, highly recommended. For one, they were cheaper than the three or four other places I'd called for estimates. Cheaper by half, sometimes more than half. These folks were the nicest, compassionate, and most respectful. They included all the paw prints and urn for free, where one place wanted almost 50 additional dollars for paw prints. They clipped a lock of her hair for me too. The price alone is worth it. They treated my little Chi Chi, and the rest of our family, with kindness, dignity and respect. Not only are their prices the most reasonable, but, more importantly, the care and concern they show, the patience they have, is beyond my capacity for words. Two weeks ago on a camping trip, I had to unexpectedly put my dear cat to sleep due to a medical emergency. Afterwards, I brought him to The Last Paws for a private cremation and was received warmly and sympathetically. They have a quiet subdued room I was able to say my final goodbyes. Very dignified. He was returned to me in a few short days in a nice urn with a pawprint and some locks of hair. They made a miserable, painful, sad situation very tolerable and respectful. My cat was my little travel buddy and meant a lot to me, and I am very grateful for The Last Paws. Thank you.

They put her in a room for our family and friends to say our good-byes to her. It felt like we had a puppy funeral. After she was cremated they called us and said, “Ruby is ready to come home.” With Ruby’s ashes were her paw prints and also some of her fur. Last Paws truly understands that our pets are family. Highly recommend for your special pets when the time comes to say good-bye.

Theu are compassionate about all our creaturea... Even my little gecko of 25 years. Yes, I cremated my little buddy. After a quarter of a century together, he absolutely deserves to be treated as well as my dog. Why shouldn't he be? And they did a wonderful job. I had never heard of a Petuary until the need arose. My Chico, 13 + year old Chihuahua, passed away on August 4th and Logan was so understanding and helpful. The prices for pet cremation were very reasonable and included an engraved urn and my fur babies paw prints. Two weeks ago on a camping trip, I had to unexpectedly put my dear cat to sleep due to a medical emergency. Afterwards, I brought him to The Last Paws for a private cremation and was received warmly and sympathetically. They have a quiet subdued room I was able to say my final goodbyes. Very dignified. He was returned to me in a few short days in a nice urn with a pawprint and some locks of hair. They made a miserable, painful, sad situation very tolerable and respectful. My cat was my little travel buddy and meant a lot to me, and I am very grateful for The Last Paws. Thank you.

We were very saddened when we arrived home on April 11 to find our son Kendricks dog Kona had passed away. Someone suggested A Paws in Time and we reached out to them immediately. Nate was very accommodating and willing to stay after hours till we could take Kona to them. Everything from that point on was perfect. They showed such empathy and support for our loss. We would suggest if anybody is looking for a pet cremation service, consider A Paws in Time.
