My cat Maximus died on Saturday, Dec 14th, and I took him to Lasting Paws to be cremated. Katrina was extremely kind, professional, and compassionate. She gave me some extra time to say my final goodbyes to my friend, companion, and travel buddy for the last 17+ years. They are the best. I highly recommend theirs services.

Hey did you know your dog is dead? Hey did you know they are still dead? Hey how is your day, remember that dog you loved? Yeah it's dead, just wanted to remind you!Lasting Paws has been absolutely horrible about calling after I've asked them not to. In the wake of my pet's death they kept calling saying I had DAYS to decide what to do with their remains. It made a hard time even harder.AND THEN they called a month after her death like "Oh remember how we harassed you about making a decision on your dogs remains and told you if it wasn't paid for in a week we'd throw them away? jk bestie now you have 6 more months to decide!!" Needless to say their manipulative tactics during a period of grief were not appreciated and even if I wanted those remains, their process is so thoughtless, callous and misleading that I will not be giving them my money and have spoken to my vet about how awful they made the post-death process.I just can't imagine why they'd call me for days warning me my dogs remains were going to be tossed only to come back and say "Psyche! You now have until June! We were just kidding!!"

Not impressed with their customer service and follow up. My pet passed away so we decided to have him cremated only for him to get lost in transit. LPM charges $30 for shipping, only to use USPS. That should be noted when choosing this option and it isn’t. I didn’t have it in me to go and pick him up from this place so I paid the $30 to have my beloved fur baby delivered, only to end up cities away! After emailing LPM trying to figure out where my pet’s remains were, they were completely unhelpful and heartless. No follow up to my last email, nothing!! For a company that should have a lot of compassion, I really want to trust and believe that I received everything that I paid for but I’m not feeling very trusting in a company that just took my money and then when his remains went missing in transit, their response was -We are so sorry for any convenience this may have caused, we are not able to see more information on where your pet is, all we could see is that he is at the post office. You will need to contact your local post office as he may be with them and you can pick him up. If you need anything else, please reach out to us again via email or you can also reach us at 720-237-3060. We are so sorry for your loss and hope you have a better day!Ok, let me first off say in response to “sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused” I just lost my dog to cancer and you’re sorry for the inconvenience that he’s missing somewhere in the postal system. As I said before, if they would’ve advertised that they use usps to deliver such an important package, I would not have gone with that option. For $30, I thought they use their own delivery service (like they do to pick them up). And really “so sorry for your loss and hope you have a better day” - I can’t find where my fur baby’s remains are because you charged me $30 for a $15 shipping service but “hope you have a better day”. Stressing for days that he was lost and that I would never get him back (because he wasn’t at a post office - it just said “your package is on the way to the next shipping facility”) usps finally updated that he was delivered to a post office 2 hours away! Called them to confirm and then made the round trip 4 hour drive in a snowstorm to pick him up. Thanks for your help and concern LPM!!!
