My cat Maximus died on Saturday, Dec 14th, and I took him to Lasting Paws to be cremated. Katrina was extremely kind, professional, and compassionate. She gave me some extra time to say my final goodbyes to my friend, companion, and travel buddy for the last 17+ years. They are the best. I highly recommend theirs services.

Hey did you know your dog is dead? Hey did you know they are still dead? Hey how is your day, remember that dog you loved? Yeah it's dead, just wanted to remind you!Lasting Paws has been absolutely horrible about calling after I've asked them not to. In the wake of my pet's death they kept calling saying I had DAYS to decide what to do with their remains. It made a hard time even harder.AND THEN they called a month after her death like "Oh remember how we harassed you about making a decision on your dogs remains and told you if it wasn't paid for in a week we'd throw them away? jk bestie now you have 6 more months to decide!!" Needless to say their manipulative tactics during a period of grief were not appreciated and even if I wanted those remains, their process is so thoughtless, callous and misleading that I will not be giving them my money and have spoken to my vet about how awful they made the post-death process.I just can't imagine why they'd call me for days warning me my dogs remains were going to be tossed only to come back and say "Psyche! You now have until June! We were just kidding!!"

Not impressed with their customer service and follow up. My pet passed away so we decided to have him cremated only for him to get lost in transit. LPM charges $30 for shipping, only to use USPS. That should be noted when choosing this option and it isnât. I didnât have it in me to go and pick him up from this place so I paid the $30 to have my beloved fur baby delivered, only to end up cities away! After emailing LPM trying to figure out where my petâs remains were, they were completely unhelpful and heartless. No follow up to my last email, nothing!! For a company that should have a lot of compassion, I really want to trust and believe that I received everything that I paid for but Iâm not feeling very trusting in a company that just took my money and then when his remains went missing in transit, their response was -We are so sorry for any convenience this may have caused, we are not able to see more information on where your pet is, all we could see is that he is at the post office. After losing my sweet boy, only days before our gotcha date and my birthday, I was utterly lost and heartbroken finding out I most likely wouldn't be able to afford afterlife services for him, due to draining my account trying to save him. After hours of searching, I came across Last Paws and their partnership with the Denver Animal Shelter. After trusting them with my baby, what seems to now look like a weird - one of a kind/ only time - miscommunicated scenario, I can confidently say the employees went above and beyond trying to rectify the situation. Destiny took my heartbroken feedback with compassionate ears, heartfelt concern, and handled everything(me) with such care. I appreciate Destiny, and the rest of the staff for being so delicate. I feel like Beckham is resting peacefully now. Thank you.

It is with a heavy, but grateful heart that I write this review tonight. This month, our cat Baker (aka Bubba Chicken), passed away due to extenuating medical circumstances after spending a full day between 2 separate ER vet clinics. Although Baker will be greatly missed, she received attentive, thorough care from the Lasting Paws team in her afterlife. We want to especially thank Rashelle, who helped us with every decision we needed to make during such a distressful time. We are so thankful for your team giving us the gift of having Baker back in memorial form. We also hope you can remember her during the best times of life with these photos.~ Ashley, John, and our pup Sancho

I lost my baby girl and was devastated to say the least. I was able to make my cremation arrangements on line. This was good because I couldn't speak. I got her back today and am very satisfied with the way she was sent to me. The box is beautiful and came in a really nice bag. There is a certificate of cremation as well. It made the receipt of something sad a little bit easier to take.

Lasting Paws has handled the cremation for both my Sugar & my Pepper. Those 2 dogs meant the literal world to me. I mean that- they meant e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g to me. So when they're cremains both arrived home, and I got to see the beautiful care in which they were handled & taken care of... I have to say that it was the one bright spot in a time of darkness for me. Beautiful velvet bags. Gorgeous urn box. Wonderful certificate of cremation. Quality cardstock papers with both of their paw prints & nose prints. Just pure perfection. I appreciate it in ways I can never express properly. I hope they see this message review & know that, from the bottom of me & my families hearts... we're ever thankful!

They took care of my cats remains and you can definitely tell that they care. In the package was her urn in a beautiful blue velvet bag, her urn had her name engraved on it. Also came with her clay paw print. And in an envelope was her certificate of cremation. It feels nice to know that they care for your pets just as much as you do â€ïž

My "baby girl Smokie" was returned to us so beautifully. The beautiful box that she was returned to us in is absolutely beautiful. I am so grateful for the care and compassion that was given to my little girl..I miss her so much, but yet I feel like she is home with us. The paw print with her name on it is amazing too. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our little girl. I just can't say enough as to how grateful I am.Lovingly,Joanne Cox

We had the unfortunate experience of having to visit Lasting Paws. No one wants to be in this situation, but they had our baby girl in a beautiful wooden box with a gold nameplate. Destiny was kind and helped us get her name engraved as well. They took care of both our doggies' remains and handled them with care.

My baby girl passed away on 3-9-2024 at home. found her in the morning after I had a dream about her. since it was 3:15am no cremation service was open, and we took my baby girl to Urgent animal hospital for her last stop. I stayed in the car with her while my father and brother talked to the person inside..I called too late to get a clay print and ink print and more hair...I'm just glad I got one print at home and took some hair at home before her final send off..her box is beautiful and so was her bag...but she's going into a soft pink urn later (she never liked blue)..she lived a long adventurous life even with the cards she was dealt, and I was greatful to have her for 14 years..even though I wasn't there to say one last goodbye, I'm very thankful to you for her fast return home.

I can't thank you all enough for your amazing service. We lost our sweet girl unexpectedly and I called in tears because I was worried she was going to get lost in the mail. I felt so much compassion on the other end of the phone. When we received her in the mail, I felt like there was so much care and love in the packaging. My sister and mom commented that her paw print was the best they had ever seen. Thank you all so much for making a devastating time more manageable.

The final step of my kitty Jezabel's journey was with Lasting Paws and I cannot thank them enough. When I called with questions and to understand - they were kind and compassionate. I was able to bring my kitty home quickly, which was comforting. Her urn is beautiful, the way they nicely presented her back. Bless the team at Lasting Paws, for they care for our pets during this phase. It takes a special kind of person to do what they do. Thank you for taking care of my baby on her journey.

Very compassionate, sincere, and personal service. They took our deceased baby with care and provided a needed service in our sad time. We had her cremated and placed in an ern we selected. They were priced comparatively to most other places. We appreciate their kindness and got her back to us within 2 days. We were able to get a paw print in clay as well as a certificate of cremation. I will use them again, hopefully not for a long time when my other fur babies cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you Lasting Paws Memorial service for taking care of us.

Lasting paws was used to cremate our baby girl. After receiving the ashes back, her collar and tags were not included in the box. After contacting lasting paws, the response was that there were no instructions regarding the collar so it was cremated with our dog. I have had several dogs cremated in the past and not once have I had to specify what is to be returned and the collar was returned every time. Word of advise: if this company is used, write EVERYTHING, precisely how you want it done. I have spoken to several friends over the weekend about this and the same thing-no one has ever requested that the collar be returned.

My dog had passed away in my arm on the way to the vet. Vetinary emergency groups referred me to lasting paws for cremation of my baby girl little bit. I got her ashes back within a couple days. And they had her packed so beautifully in her urn I picked along with her little paw print. Ty lasting paws for taking good care of my baby girl.

I will start this by saying my pet was cremated in a timely fashion and shipped with care. That being said, this service was provided through an emergency vet and the only fee I could see was $250 flat for ashes returned regardless of size (my pet was 10lbs). It was the only option aside from taking my deceased pet with me. I got a link the next morning to see the add on options were extremely overpriced, with the clay paw print at $55 and an ink paw print $44. To capitalize on someoneâs loss like this... itâs disheartening and I had to make the decision not to get the paw print for my 11yo because of it. As someone who has worked in an establishment that sold clay paw prints and ink paw prints in times of tragedy for pet owners, they were $12 and $8 respectively. I was horrified by the price gouging and the predatory practice I experienced. I will never be able to get them because of this business, and to me thatâs unforgivable.
Michelle Poole
If i could have given negative stars, I would have. This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. They forgot to ship my dogs ashes-left them on a pick up shelf.I asked for them to be overnighted and it still took a week to get them back. I asked for a refund for the trauma this experience caused. Their prices are astronomical. They refunded shipping and the cost of a paw print. This service is not worth the cost at all. I would never recommend Lasting Paws to anyone.

We lost our dog Leela on 8/21 and chose individual cremation with our vet. We didn't know what to expect in receiving her remains back and we had read some horror stories about pet cremation (through other companies, not Lasting Paws) online. The vet had her remains back from Lasting Paws in a week, which was very impressive considering they said 2-4. This is the first pet we've had cremated and didn't know what to expect. The outer cardboard box everything came in was very nice. Her paw prints were beautiful, made in clay with her name inscribed, and were much nicer than we even expected as well as packaged nicely in little drawstring bags. Her ashes, which we maybe expected in a bag or cardboard box, were actually in a beautiful finished cedar box that we feel happy to display. Everything was packed with care and very clearly labelled and bar-coded along with a cremation certificate, and we feel very glad to know they tracked Leela's remains with such consideration and precision to make sure we got back *her* ashes. Overall a great experience that brought us enormous comfort in this sad time. We are so glad to have our Leela's ashes back with us so quickly and glad that our vet chose to work with Lasting Paws.

I would not go here for any service. I asked for paw prints and a clay impression and both were done badly. In the clay print they left off the tail and the paw prints are not clear. The ink prints look smudge and rushed. It cost me $100 and they are both horrible. I wanted to get a tattoo of her paw and now can't because the print is so messed up. I would find another service.

My 15 year old cat Wyatt passed away on 12/15/21. Banfield Pet Hospital took care of sending his remains to Lasting Paws. I picked up his ashes yesterday and was amazed at the wonderful job they did. His ashes were put in a beautiful wooden box that came in a beautiful blue cloth bag with a draw string. There was a plaque inside the bag with his name on it that I've affixed to the box. It also came with a certificate of cremation and a nice card. Needless to say that even though we are still grieving, Lasting Paws went above and beyond in showing us kindness, compassion and sympathy. I have 5 other pets and when their time comes, Lasting Paws will be where I take them without question. Thank you so much!

They called days before we were told he would be ready to come home. They Are So Awesome, Thank you!

The turn around was fast. Alex died on Sunday morning and was home by Thurday. The packaging was thoughtful and done with care. The cost was INSANE. The total cost was $643. $276 for an 8x10 shadow box 'urn' I could have bought on Amazon for $40, $30 something for the pawprint and another $30ish for a nameplate. $250 for the cremation itself. Now that is is all done and over with I feel very taken advantage of during a time when I was super distressed and overcome with grief.

It's been a year ago today that I took my beloved pet Meekee to Homeward Bound. The service I received from the owner was phenomenal. He made sure every detail was addressed and allowed the family to spend time with her during her final moments on earth. We chose a heart shaped urn and they returned her to us with a pet paw plaque as well. Ironically, today is also the day my mothers dog Shea passed. She had a wonderful 15 years with us. I will be returning to Homeward Bound for the warm, respectful and professional services we received a year ago. Thanks Homeward Bound.

My 17 year old cat Dante passed overnight and I brought her to Wheatridge Animal hospital who humanely accepted her remains and referred her to Lasting Paws. We had her cremated and her urn was returned within days. đ thank you so much for helping us during this process.!

When our incredible cat Gordon passed away, his remains were brought to Lasting Paws for cremation. We received his ashes back in a beautiful wooden box with his name carved on it. We've incredibly grateful to have this memorial to our kitty, and I am thankful to Lasting Paws for doing a great job when working with families in mourning.

By way of the Alameda East Vet Hospital, our sweet little girl was cremated by Lasting Paws when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The process to obtain her ashes took almost 3 weeks, but we had been told by the vet that it was between 2 and 4 so that was expected.I did find it a bit insensitive that her ashes were delivered back in a legitimate Ziplock bag. I've had other pets cremated, and their ashes were returned in more of a professional quality bag that was properly sealed. They also left a metal tag with a numeric value in the bag of ashes - I assume this is for identification of the ashes and, though odd, it was not off-putting.The box the ashes came back in (in the complimentary plastic urn) was a nice presentation, as were the clay paw prints (not sure if the vet or this facility did that part). They had a sticker on the urn that was too bag and had partly fallen off.Overall, it was not as personal as past experiences with another company. I would encourage a different bag option so as not to just diminish one's loved pet into a sandwich bag.

After the loss of my 13 year old Husky, I was heartbroken but knew I wanted to treat his remains with respect. Rocky Mountain Pet Cremation came over right away and removed Luke's body, treating it with dignity. Two days later they returned to my home with his cremains, a mold of his pawprint, and a very sweet certificate of cremation and sharing of their condolences. They were very reasonably priced and did not charge extra for the pick up and delivery. I highly recommend them for anyone going through this devastating loss.

Rocky Mountain Pet Cremation is very sympathetic. The response was amazing. I put my best friend down on a Saturday and my dog would have had to stay at thevet until Monday morning before they could do anything with the body. I live only a few blocks away from my vet and for some reason it just bothered me knowing my dog was all by his lonesome so close from home.I called with an request of picking my pet up in an hour and they were on it. Much grateful for this service!

I canât say enough great things about Sheri and Lasting Paws. Given the unfortunate circumstances, I couldnât be more happy with the outcome. Sheri was beyond helpful and compassionate to everything I was going through and helped guide me through the process all while making me feel comfortable and answering my many questions. Thank You, Sheri, for making sure my Bailey was SO well taken care of and helping me find peace in all of this.

We lost our Parti-Yorkie puppy on May 17th, 2015 his name is Jasper. We called Rocky Mountain Pet Cremation they came over to our house even after hours when he died. They showed great respect, compassion, and dignity for our puppy. Like they treated him like a human being. And what is also great about this company. We told them we didn't have money at the time. They told us that we could pay later. I will highly recommend this company to anyone.

My baby of 11 years passed away on June 10th. We had loaded him in the car and headed for a crematorium. Upon arrival, the first place we went was very sketchy to say the least so we called ROCKY MOUNTAIN PET. They instantly had a better feel to them. One that made me comfortable leaving my pet with them. The man (sorry I forgot his name, I was very upset) engaged me in conversation about my life with Bear. He also approached the whole situation in a friendly manner instead of a business transaction. What really touched me is that when he took my dog from the back of my car he lifted him and held him against his own body. He then gently placed him on the "gurny". Today (2 days later)he returned his ashes to my home. They are in a very nice gold colored tin, wrapped in a ribbon with a certificate to certify that he was cremated individually. Also his law print was molded into plaster, placed in a nice clear fabric bag with a ribbon to tie it. When the dreaded day comes I will take my other pets to this same place. Thank you for your compassion and sympathy through the whole process.

Sorry for taking so long to post this review. In 2016 my dog passed away, and I was devastated. Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services Was extremely sympathetic for our loss, and they were not insulted when I asked them to let me watch as they put my dog in the incinerator to ensure I received only his ashes in return. I would definitely recommend their services.

This will be the 3rd time I have used RMPC. They are very caring and treat your pets as if they were their own. I know I will be getting the cremains of my family member back. Thank you for being so caring and compassionate at one of the worst times in our lives.Just lost my one little girl (Missy) 3 weeks ago 11/6/15 and now I will be entrusting the care of my other girl (Keystone) 12/2/15.Thank you for taking care of Keystone. She is back home now with Missy.Thank you RMPC. God bless you all for what you do......

We had to put down our Buddy boy on the 1st of August. He was very sick. I went to planned pethood in wheatridge and he was put down. Today I picked up his ashes and paw print and found out that lasting paws took care of my Buddy. It was bitter sweet but I'm glad to have him home. They did a beautiful job.

We have (unfortunately) had to use their services 3 times, BUT each time has been extremely wonderful and pleasant. The team here is great, and really treats you and your lost loved ones with the respect deserved. The card and certificate are very pleasant additions. Thank you homeward bound and your team for your care and respect!

Our 16 year pomeranian Lucyloo had passed and I just didn't know what to do. I was referred to RMPC by another company because he knew they would take care of us. Jody wasn't near the office at the time but had his wife Cindy met us there so we didn't have to wait. The amazing service began there. As we said our last goodbyes Cindy was so gracious and kind hearted. She treated our sweet girl with the utmost respect and dignity. Two days later Cindy called and asked if they could bring our baby home to us. This was something that really warmed my heart. I was so distraught losing my girl that I spent half of my life with. Cindy came to the door and hugged me so tight. I gave her a thank you note with a picture of our beauty. Her cherrywood box and paw prints remain on the mantle. I will never forget the love I felt on that day and the days following... Thank you Jody and Cindy for being there for me and my family.

It was a very sad time for me. Picked up my dogs ashes. The receptionist took the time to hear about my story with my dog and was very sympathetic

I lost my beloved dog, Bella at 3:00 AM Monday morning October 24, 2016. RMPC was very quick to response and took the body of my best friend about an hour after they open for business that day. I got Bella's private ashes two days later. Thank you RMPC.Bella thank you for the love and joy that you have brought into my life. You will always be in my heart.

LPPM went above and beyond is all I can really say. The box my Oakley's ashes came in was better than my brother's urn and I wasn't expecting his paw print to be stained & have his name printed on it. Amazing work, thanks.

Helpful, courteous and professional staff. Services were provided in a very timely manner. During an emotional and stressful time this unpleasant part of the process was made a little easier to deal with thanks to Rocky Mountain Pet Cremation.

Great company, our dog bella passed away on Feb 2021 our vet Dr.Cahill is the best at making sure that bella came back home in the best way possible. Thank you guys.

When I picked up my sweet yellow lab, Bailey, I was so touched by how beautiful everything turned out.
