This was one of the hardest things you have to do, but this staff is truly amazing. The kindness and genuine concern they showed made what we were there to do so much easier. I wish I had gotten the woman's name, but she lightened the mood in the most kind way. She spoke about our baby in the present tense telling us how beautiful he was and how she could tell he was taken care of and loved. If you're reading this, then it's probably for unfortunate circumstances, but I would never take my fur baby anywhere else.We got a sheet front and back of paw prints, a plaster paw print, hair clippings, and his ashes (he was 85 pounds) for $220.

The best place for getting your baby cremated! They are willing to show you your baby so you know it is them when they come home. We are hoping they come across a heart big enough to hold my old man because the ones they have in stock are too small. They have hearts of gold and are just as sad to see your baby as you are to have to make that decision for your baby.Thank you for taking such amazing care of my boy as he passed through your hands back to mine. When my precious guide dog passed, Precious memories came to pick her up. The person was in a hurry. I was very thankful that people were here with me, and could explain the process. We are so thankful to have found Precious Memories when our sweet young dog, Cassie, passed away from a rapid aggressive cancer. It was a very traumatic event for our family and especially for our four boys. The staff we worked with, Ariel and Mike, were fantastic. They graciously accommodated our request to have Cassie buried the same day we called as we needed to get one son back to college in another state. Both Ariel and Mike were so compassionate and caring- we never felt rushed and they included us at every step. Precious memories made such a difficult time the best it could possibly be. Precious Memories is the most caring and compassionate company I’ve worked with. They picked up my pup from the vet and provided such a wonderful service. I have used them twice for our babies. They are truly a family owned & operated small business. Samantha was extremely professional and helped me navigate this difficult process. I was going to use a different service and was shocked by the prices and timeline. I called Samantha and they were able to complete everting in just a few days. Precious Memories is the only provider to use in Northern Colorado. They were wonderful throughout the entire process and worked with me to figure out what I needed. They didn’t try to upsell me and products and were transparent about everything. Highly recommend using this company.

When we came to the incredibly difficult decision to put our 17 year old dog to rest, my first call was to Precious Memories. I couldn’t imagine not preserving his memory in a meaningful way. Filled with so much grief, it was a welcomed surprise to have someone show so much empathy for our loss. It wasn’t treated like a business transaction, they mourned right along side us and walked us through next steps. When it was time for the procedure, a member of the Precious Memories team patiently waited outside the room or our animal hospital, giving us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. They communicated well with what to expect and even reached out to see how we were doing. We now have his Ashes and a ceramic paw print of our long time family member. Working with Precious Memories was a gift to our family during one of the most difficult experiences of our lives. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Precious Memories was wonderful handling our sweet 2 yr old who died at CSU. It was a total shock, she was supposed to recover, treatable illness - we were a mess. The lady at the front desk was so gracious and kind. It’s a place where it’s okay to look the part. A very serene and unhurried place, we saw where Birdi was cremated. We were told about their process. Their cemetery is beautiful. I’ve referred friends here without hesitation and will continue to do so.

Unfortunately had a bad experience here.The people were nice and seemed genuine and caring.However several things went wrong with the process when I had my furr-baby cremated here.First, we had requested to get 2 paw prints made (they ask this question during the initial meeting), but only one was. It was written down that we were supposed to receive 2, but only 1 was given to us.Second, we had asked that the towel/blanket that our baby was wrapped in could be returned (this was also asked during the initial meeting, and written down on the form), but it wasn't returned and they said it couldn't be found. This was rather disheartening and saddening, as it was special to us and our furr-baby, and we really wanted it returned for sentimental memory-sake.Third, we had been having trouble with our phone service at the time this was happening, and were unable to receive calls while awaiting a solution from the phone company, so we had requested that they email or text us, which they agreed to.Well, 1 day, then 2, then 3 rather agonizing grief-filled passed, and finally we sent them an email asking if they had an estimate of when they might be done and we could pick up the creamains, only to receive a response that they had finished days ago, and our little one was ready for pickup the day after we had dropped them off, leaving us hanging and waiting for days, because they forgotten to text or email us as we had requested.Needless to say, they do not work in an easy business, and they handle it with care and compassion during the interactions we had with them.But when families are dealing with the grief of losing a loved one in these situations, attention to detail and getting things right for them is very important to making it a good experience, and not adding even more sadness to the situation.Unfortunately they seem to be the only business of this sort anywhere feasably near the area, otherwise I would advise against going here, if you can find somewhere else that is reasonably close enough to you.

I live in Wyoming and my dog of 8 years (Patrón) unexpectedly passed away the night of Nov. 6th. Took him to Animal Health Center in Laramie the next day and he was picked up the same day. I had called Precious Memories to order a necklace and the woman on the phone was so sweet and helpful. It’s now Nov. 10th and I was able to pick up my dog’s ashes, paw print, and the necklace I got. I was able to pick everything up from the same place I took him to after he passed here in Laramie. Before this experience, I was unaware of the options available for losing a pet. I knew that everyone impacted with the passing of our Hera would want something to remember her by. I found Mike and all the staff that I met at Precious Memories to be extremely friendly, compassionate and warm. They know their business but they also know how to treat someone who has just lost a family member. Furthermore, I found their grounds to be beautiful and far enough away from the city that it felt secluded but not so far that I had to carve out a huge block of time just to get there. I highly recommend Precious Memories to anyone that has ever loved and lost a pet.

Ordered a keepsake rock for my husband for Father's Day and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had it in time AND it turned out great! It looked identical to the one we got as a gift for our other puppy years ago. I sent them a picture and they matched it to a tee! We then went to pick it up and the atmosphere of the grounds was so serene and peaceful and immaculately taken care of. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend to all dealing with the loss of a fur baby!

I drove almost 4 hours one way to use Precious Memories for my pet's cremation. I am from Wyoming and crematoriums are few and far between here. The most popular one in my surrounding area said things to me like they couldn't understand why I couldn't handle knowing my pet would be sitting in a freezer for a few weeks before they got to her when I brought that up as a concern, and also told me sternly that I'm not the only one who goes through this so I needed to learn how to deal with it and it wasn't a big deal. That was unacceptable including when they told me how many animals they did on weekends (the only time they operate). The math didn't add up to where they could only be doing mass cremations. This worried me immensely that I wouldn't be receiving my pet's actual ashes or that they wouldn't be mixed with others. There would be no time in the rest of my life that I wouldn't be concerned and bothered by not knowing for sure.The ladies here at Precious Memories made sure that wouldn't happen. They allowed me to be present for everything to have proper closure and know that my ashes were my ashes. They understood and couldn't believe how the other crematorium acted and even stated they had a similar experience and that's why they started this place. They want to make sure people could trust their work and their animals were taken care of properly.Speaking of, I was able to see behind the scenes and saw them handle multiple other animals and nothing was different from an old stray than my personal pet. Everything was handled the same and with respect. Having to put down and cremate my pet was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but I am very glad I found Precious Memories and that they were there for the last part of my dog's time here. I appreciate them and everything they did immensely.

I cannot begin to thank everyone here enough, they went well beyond anything I could have asked for in regards to taking care of my beloved pet and myself as I was in a tight financial situation, they happily gave me an extention to get everything paid up and even waived a cost that I could not afford. On top of all of that they still allowed me to take my boy home with me as soon as he was ready. I can't recommend this amazing business enough and every single person there was incredibly compassionate and understanding. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.

We recently had to make the agonizing decision to put our 12 year old boy, Bennie, down. We euthanized him at home utilizing the services of Home to Heaven (they were great). We then brought our boy to Precious Memories Pet Cemetery and Crematory and the staff allowed us to witness the entire cremation to ensure our Bennie received the best possible care. Words could not express how grateful my husband and I were to have chosen Precious Memories in Fort Collins. The ladies were professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and exceptional. Although our hearts were broken because of our loss, these ladies provided comfort and peace. I am so sorry I do not remember the three ladies names but I won't forget their faces or their hugs at a time when we really needed that. The cemetery on these grounds are also exceptional as the grave sites overlook the mountains. Five stars just isn't enough to rate this business. Truly exceptional and they went the extra mile. Thank you!

I did not have my own pet cremated with Precious Memories, but she did help me take care of a client of ours with Banfield Pet Hospital. 12/10 recommend asking for Ariel if you need help with anything or have questions, she was amazing.

Unfortunately had a bad experience here.The people were nice and seemed genuine and caring.However several things went wrong with the process when I had my furr-baby cremated here.First, we had requested to get 2 paw prints made (they ask this question during the initial meeting), but only one was. It was written down that we were supposed to receive 2, but only 1 was given to us.Second, we had asked that the towel/blanket that our baby was wrapped in could be returned (this was also asked during the initial meeting, and written down on the form), but it wasn't returned and they said it couldn't be found. This was rather disheartening and saddening, as it was special to us and our furr-baby, and we really wanted it returned for sentimental memory-sake.Third, we had been having trouble with our phone service at the time this was happening, and were unable to receive calls while awaiting a solution from the phone company, so we had requested that they email or text us, which they agreed to.Well, 1 day, then 2, then 3 rather agonizing grief-filled passed, and finally we sent them an email asking if they had an estimate of when they might be done and we could pick up the creamains, only to receive a response that they had finished days ago, and our little one was ready for pickup the day after we had dropped them off, leaving us hanging and waiting for days, because they forgotten to text or email us as we had requested.Needless to say, they do not work in an easy business, and they handle it with care and compassion during the interactions we had with them.But when families are dealing with the grief of losing a loved one in these situations, attention to detail and getting things right for them is very important to making it a good experience, and not adding even more sadness to the situation.Unfortunately they seem to be the only business of this sort anywhere feasably near the area, otherwise I would advise against going here, if you can find somewhere else that is reasonably close enough to you.

I live in Wyoming and my dog of 8 years (Patrón) unexpectedly passed away the night of Nov. 6th. Took him to Animal Health Center in Laramie the next day and he was picked up the same day. I had called Precious Memories to order a necklace and the woman on the phone was so sweet and helpful. It’s now Nov. 10th and I was able to pick up my dog’s ashes, paw print, and the necklace I got. I was able to pick everything up from the same place I took him to after he passed here in Laramie. I’m very pleased and impressed with how quickly I got Patrón’s ashes back along with the other things I had wanted. Thank you guys so much for everything

Precious Memories was such a huge help during the loss of my Australian Cattle, Willow. ❣ The staff was incredibly compassionate and kind. We just picked up our horses ashes from Precious Memories this morning and I cannot recommend them enough! They were very kind and respectful and followed all of our requests for the urn, hoof prints, and brass nameplate. The property itself is beautiful, the cemetery is well maintained and peaceful. We simply cannot express in words the fantastic service we received recently from Precious Memories Cremation Services. We will try. The assistance Ariel Atkins gave us during the cremation process was incredible. UCSF did not follow the directives they were given. We always wanted a whole horse cremation. They took it upon themselves to simply do what is their normal SOP. Then bill us for their error!!! Within 24 hours of the death I might add. Not good enough. Ariel and the rest of the staff went above and beyond in correcting USCF’s egregious error. Painful error and blatant mistake. The contact with Ariel and Michael was always welcome and knowledgeable. Helpful in every way. I cannot recommend this company strongly enough. They truly care. I wish I could say the same about UCSF after the animal passes. I know one person wrote a bad review. I truly believe the error was the fault of UCSF. Precious Memories has no control of what UCFC sends them and only follow the directive they are given. In our situation they took control to fix this error they did not create. That’s pretty good customer service in my book. We cannot thank them enough!!!

I have been going here for MANY years, and personally know the owner.I've cremated a variety of animals like rats, ferrets and kitties. Also great danes and smaller dogs. Before this experience, I was unaware of the options available for losing a pet. I knew that everyone impacted with the passing of our Hera would want something to remember her by. I found this place while doing a web search and am so grateful I found them. They were so caring and compassionate to my needs. I found Mike and all the staff that I met at Precious Memories to be extremely friendly, compassionate and warm. They know their business but they also know how to treat someone who has just lost a family member. Furthermore, I found their grounds to be beautiful and far enough away from the city that it felt secluded but not so far that I had to carve out a huge block of time just to get there. I highly recommend Precious Memories to anyone that has ever loved and lost a pet.

Ordered a keepsake rock for my husband for Father's Day and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had it in time AND it turned out great! It looked identical to the one we got as a gift for our other puppy years ago. I sent them a picture and they matched it to a tee! We then went to pick it up and the atmosphere of the grounds was so serene and peaceful and immaculately taken care of. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend to all dealing with the loss of a fur baby!

I drove almost 4 hours one way to use Precious Memories for my pet's cremation. I am from Wyoming and crematoriums are few and far between here. The most popular one in my surrounding area said things to me like they couldn't understand why I couldn't handle knowing my pet would be sitting in a freezer for a few weeks before they got to her when I brought that up as a concern, and also told me sternly that I'm not the only one who goes through this so I needed to learn how to deal with it and it wasn't a big deal. That was unacceptable including when they told me how many animals they did on weekends (the only time they operate). The math didn't add up to where they could only be doing mass cremations. This worried me immensely that I wouldn't be receiving my pet's actual ashes or that they wouldn't be mixed with others. There would be no time in the rest of my life that I wouldn't be concerned and bothered by not knowing for sure.The ladies here at Precious Memories made sure that wouldn't happen. They allowed me to be present for everything to have proper closure and know that my ashes were my ashes. They understood and couldn't believe how the other crematorium acted and even stated they had a similar experience and that's why they started this place. They want to make sure people could trust their work and their animals were taken care of properly.Speaking of, I was able to see behind the scenes and saw them handle multiple other animals and nothing was different from an old stray than my personal pet. Everything was handled the same and with respect. Having to put down and cremate my pet was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but I am very glad I found Precious Memories and that they were there for the last part of my dog's time here. I appreciate them and everything they did immensely.

I cannot begin to thank everyone here enough, they went well beyond anything I could have asked for in regards to taking care of my beloved pet and myself as I was in a tight financial situation, they happily gave me an extention to get everything paid up and even waived a cost that I could not afford. On top of all of that they still allowed me to take my boy home with me as soon as he was ready. I can't recommend this amazing business enough and every single person there was incredibly compassionate and understanding. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.

We recently had to make the agonizing decision to put our 12 year old boy, Bennie, down. We euthanized him at home utilizing the services of Home to Heaven (they were great). We then brought our boy to Precious Memories Pet Cemetery and Crematory and the staff allowed us to witness the entire cremation to ensure our Bennie received the best possible care. Words could not express how grateful my husband and I were to have chosen Precious Memories in Fort Collins. The ladies were professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and exceptional. Although our hearts were broken because of our loss, these ladies provided comfort and peace. I am so sorry I do not remember the three ladies names but I won't forget their faces or their hugs at a time when we really needed that. The cemetery on these grounds are also exceptional as the grave sites overlook the mountains. Five stars just isn't enough to rate this business. Truly exceptional and they went the extra mile. Thank you!

I was asked if I wanted a pawprint and I said yes. Do u think it happened. Everyone blamed everyone else. There is no going back on such a HUGE mistake. Take your own pawprints at home to avoid this heartbreak. I will not be going back.

i brought my dog there with the intention of having him cremated. when i got there i saw how beautiful the place was and without any prior reservation to get this done, they honored my decision right then to bury his body. i spent time holding him while they dug the grave. i could see them do it but i was in a quiet/private place to sit and reflect. the people were very respectful and let me take all the time i needed on every step. after the grave was dug, the man quietly slipped away and i spent more time with Jamie in his blanket and then i was able to put him in the ground and put items with him, (some little statues and pictures) i put some dirt on him and only after i was gone, they filled the rest in. after a week, i placed a stone they helped me pick out. it was lovely. i wanted the sanskrit symbol OM or more correctly AUM and they did an awesome job. the sharp points at the ends were perfectly done, not to mention they had never made this symbol prior. every time i go there they let me stay as long as i want, i even fell asleep once. i really recommend this place.

I just received a phone call 3 weeks after we lost our beloved family dog only to find out this location failed to place the remains in the urn when we were supposed to pick him up. This caused irreversible emotional issues for my wife and kids and I will hold this location accountable for the mixup.

They are the cheapest even though I found no differences. They ARE worth it. Respectively treating you and your pet- even a goldfish. I felt better knowing the kindliness they showed. The cemetery is peaceful.

Precious memories is MORE than just a cemetery or a crematorium.....they are ALL wonderfully caring souls that REALLY want you to have the best treatment , under the heart wrenching experience it is to say good bye to your beloved pet ( aka - loving member of your FAMILY ).....i have always , ALWAYS ...trusted my "fur babys" end of life services to precious memories ..and have never been disappointed...or treated poorly in any way ..what so ever ...in fact they werevery " fluent " in "tear talk " ( 😭😭😓 ) and patience while i had my last moments with my "best freind" of 13 years .........Precious Memories helped me find some peace , knowing that "My shadow, my rock , my heart " ..would be treated with respect and dignity for her final rest !Michelle

I am so disappointed with the box my dog’s ashes came back to me in. It is so ugly and makes me sad to see my big tough boy have his ashes inside it. It looks like someone bought it at the dollar store. I had to buy a box on amazon just out of respect for my boy! Very disappointing

beautiful place for a burial, fast cremations, friendly staff, lots of options for ash accessories though slightly on the more expensive side, but look of really high quality.

Very sad picking up my baby boys ashes. They did a great job.
