We sadly lost our German Shepherd and wanted our boy buried on our property. Even though he was not the large livestock they usually deal with, Brian did not hesitate to come help even though the ground was frozen. He was so kind and compassionate and gave us all the time we needed to say good bye. Our beautiful boy was buried with the respect and kindness he deserved. We are extremely grateful to Brian.

Our horse, Wyatt, went down and passed away out in the pasture, the morning after a snow storm. Despite the icy conditions, Brian calmly and patiently worked his way out to him, where he handled his removal with care and respect. A very hard day was made just a little easier by Open Gate. I highly recommend them!

Brian and daughters have been out 3 times as we have had 3 older much loved animals pass, over the last 2 years. Their compassion and empathy is consistent and has been very appreciated.

Brian was awesome to work with! He showed up on time and gave an honest quote. Then he proceeded to go above and beyond to get the pad done right. I was putting in a 40’ container so it had to be level, which it was. I would highly recommend Brian for all your dirt work needs.

Brian and his daughter are extremely kind and compassionate. We had to have both our horse and mule put down together and we truly appreciate them coming to take them for us. They both are just lovely folks: super professional, respectful and thoughtful. We can’t thank them enough.

Brian was beyond compassionate. I have had previous experiences with burial and removal. And this was nothing like them. He was compassionate beyond what I’ve experienced and handled her burial with the most kindness and respect to her I could’ve ever seen. I found Brian's info on Next Door. I reached out to ask if he would teach me how to fix my leaking hydrant. Not only did Brian teach me how to fix the plunger on my hydrant, but he did it quickly and was incredibly polite and a great teacher. I am an equine veterinarian who has worked in this area since 2017. I recently opened my own business and Open Gate is always my first call when I have a client needing hauling or burial services. Brian is easy to get ahold of, is always on time, and most importantly is kind and compassionate to both the owner and the horse. It is so hard for clients to say goodbye to their beloved animals, and it is of the utmost importance to me that anyone I recommend is kind and respectful. Brian and Kailey are that and more.

There is not a more fair, kind, meticulous person to welcome into your life. He will do any and all the hard work around the farm, as well as burying your animals with dignity and grace. He respects them as the wonderful beings they are and WILL NOT treat them like "just animals." He carries them to their burial site, no dragging. Checks on the owner as it occurs, and offers condolences. Before burial, he pets them and talks to them. As for ranch work, he knows what he's talking about if trying to solve erosion or mud issues, and will not overcharge or suggest what you don't need. This guy is an angel to our rescue. I'm eternally grateful, and will use only him from now on. Bless you, Brian.

Open Gate, represented by Brian provided the most caring and considerate support for our 38 year old buddy- Cosmo-bar. Brian was responsive and complete in placing Cosmo on our 2.5 acres. He was thorough and easily adapted to our late change of plan. Can’t think of anything that could have been done better.
