Customer Reviews Summary
Peaceful Memorials Pet Crematory has received mixed reviews, with many praising their compassionate service and care for pets during a difficult time. However, there are significant complaints regarding customer service, particularly from the owner, Missy, which has led to a negative experience for some clients. Overall, while many appreciate the memorial options and reasonable pricing, the inconsistency in service quality is a notable concern.

I had a good experience my Guinea Pig passed on Friday, I had put my Guinea Pig in the garage until Monday, Marcus come to pick up Nyla up he let us say our goodbyes to her, and few problems with payment around the second time because of my bank but got it fixed, 4 weeks past been calling no answer but left a voicemail they called me back and finally gave me a few dates when they going to drop off my Guinea Pig. They did a wonderful job with putting her ashes in the box with a tag on it, and a beautiful paw print I will never forget it was a good outcome and a bit of a weight I love it.

This is the best place I’ve ever used for cremation for my pets. I’m always treated with compassion and kindness and I’ll never go anywhere else.I’ve been taking my hamsters here for years now, and I truly recommend it. A lot of places don’t treat pocket pets with the same respect as a dog or cat, but I’ve never felt that here. I’ve always felt welcome and respected and I know they take great care of my little ones afterwards. And it makes me very happy to know that all of my hammies go to the same place.Much love to the staff, and I will continue to use their services as long as I have pets.

Peaceful memorial pet Crematory provided exceptional home service during a very emotional time. Marcus was kind, compassionate, and respectful, ensuring everything was handled with care and dignity. He made the process seamless and gave us peace of mind knowing our beloved pet was treated with love. Highly recommend their home service for those seeking comfort and convenience! Bless your heart Marcus❤️

Most horrible and unprofessional experience of my life! I called at 9:00 am and was told they could pick my dog up till 2:00 pm. I said it was "silly" he had to sit in my car for 5 hours when I could be there in 10 minutes to drop him off. Yes I used the word "silly." That's not an excuse to have to get a huge long rant from the lady on the phone. Then she refused to schedule it, hung up on me, and blocked my number. Is that how you treat all your grieving families? Are you that disrespectful to all your clients? I wasn't rude or disrespectful, I just used the word "silly" and I do not apologize for it!

My veterinarian uses Peaceful memorials for aftercare services. Although it took a little longer for the remains to be returned, we were happy with the service and the pricing. Thank you for your care of Beans. We are glad to have her home again.

They come to pick up your animal, which sounds cool, until they charge you to pick up your animal and there's no option to drop it off to save that fee. Just tryin to get my kids cats ashes and this pick up fee is dumb.

These guys are great! Missy and the rest of the team made parting with my 19 year old feral cat, Tubby so much easier. This was the last thing I could to for my little friend. I'm so glad this service exists. Thank you, very, very much. Tom

Missy is the owner of Peaceful Memorials Pet Crematory. Twice I had called to ask about their services before taking my cat to be cremated. Both times she did not have the best customer service but I for pricing and what I receive (my cats ashes in a box and a footprint) I decided to give them a try. We showed up 20 minutes early because we came from across the other side of town. She was very rude and upset about this. Told us, we would just have to wait. I almost left, but then MARCUS greeted us and was beyond welcoming and empathetic to our loss. He took the time to explain everything, allowed us to pick our box/footprint and to say our final goodbye. I cannot say enough good things about HIS customer service. When I went to pick up my cats remains, Missy was in the lobby just as rude and unwelcoming as ever. Marcus, once again was so kind and amazing. I told him I did not appreciate Missy's lack of kindness, customer service or empathy basically any characteristics a good human would possess. I told him the ONLY reason we would EVER return was because of HIM and his outstanding care for us and our departed furbaby. Really breaks my heart that the owner is so cold and stand-offish especially knowing when people utilize her company's services, they are at a difficult time in their life. The pricing is good, Marcus is wonderful and those are the ONLY two reasons, we would use this company again.

I am beyond grateful for this place. They were so professional and compassionate. They not only acknowledged me- but they acknowledged my pet. They don’t just offer a “service”. This is a safe place. I was offered additional time with my boy in their new sitting area- which was amazing because I was not ready to let go. That additional time gave me some closure. It put my mind at ease and calmed my nerves. I knew that he would be cared for when I walked out of the doors. The paw print, nose print, and fur clippings I received….. beyond words… Thank you so much for everything, and thank you for being a part of my boys journey.

I initially called 2 times (sorry). The first time was for pricing, and the voicemail informed me that the website has. Once I saw that, I called to make the appointment. They were kind on the phone. Unfortunately, they had no more times today for drop off, but offered me the next morning. We kept our guinea pig in the freezer until it was time. The place was easy enough to find and the staff compassionate. They have some nice memorial options, including different paw prints and fur clippings. They offered for our guinea pig, too, which i thought was very nice. We ultimately declined these, so i can't speak on the quality. All of the cremation options were offered to us; we picked communal. They gave us some basic information about that and the cute lil garden her ashes will be spread, gave us our receipt and we were on our way. They were so kind here and affordable!!! They were overall fantastic.

My husband and I tragically lost our baby girl (a 12ish year old chihuahua) it was super sudden and I was in shock still when I had to call about what to do for her. This place went above and beyond my expectations. They were kind and let me be with her as long as I needed and were reasonable with their pricing. They helped me bring my baby back home where she belongs and even remembered me and my baby girl 💜 as in life, she always made everyone who met her, love her and remember her. I'd give them a million stars if I could. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making Opals passing a tiny bit easier 💜

I love Missy with my whole heart. I’ve been in rescue a long time. I have had to say goodbye to so many of my beloved companions. Missy has been with me for most of those sad times. She helped my babies pass with ease and peace. And then she gave them back to me, always with love. I cannot recommend her services highly enough. I know this is the best end of life service in town and one of the last privately owned as well. Many people don’t realize the other companies are corporate and have had major operational issues as a result. Go to Missy and her people when it’s time to say goodbye. They will take care of your best friend. And you too.

Missy and her staff were just wonderful and compassionate with handling the remains of my 18 ½ year old cat Stormy. The pricing was very reasonable and affordable. They showed up on time and showed compassion while they talked me through the entire process. I am so grateful to Missy and her team at Peaceful Memorials for making this whole process smooth and frustration free so I could focus on my long-term friend and family member Stormy. He was handled with care and dignity from beginning to end. Thank you for the service you provide during a very difficult time.

My wife and I recently lost one of our a dear pets, our Guinea pig Harley. Peaceful memorials, made the experience as easy as possible. They were kind, empathetic, and understanding. I really appreciated their kind words about Harley. Thank you for making a difficult time much easier for us. 5 stars.

We picked up our babies ashes today. They included a really beautiful wooden urn and paw print so you dont have additional expenses. There was even a signed sympathy card and they had everything ready for us when we got there. I like how the prices are listed on their website so you don't have to call and ask about it when your dealing with so many other emotions. They offer additional services if you want extra paw prints, nose prints, hair clippings, upgraded urn (the included one is beautiful!), want to be at the cremation, etc. Everyone I interacted with was kind and compassionate. We used their partner company "Peaceful Partings" to pick up our little girl at our home after she died (very helpful to us and reasonable price $50). They were able to come within a few hours and gave us a nice folder with poems, memorial ideas, and support resources for the loss. The folder was a very nice touch and similar to the packet we received when my father passed. They even have a memorial page were you can post pictures and stories about your furbaby on their website.

Compassionate service and overall not a bad price. Came home from work to my Doberman deceased and they told me they would wait until I got there after hours if necessary. I was a mess but they help out and showed compassion and an informational pamphlet of the process and what urns to pick out (they’re beautiful btw) Definitely tell they take pride in taking care of the remains of our beloved pets.

lovely staff, compassionate and informative. They also have two adorable and friendly pups in the lobby who welcomed me, which really helped during this painful process. You can really tell the staff cares for every animal that comes through. ❤️

They are with Peaceful Partings which are TERRIBLE, Callous, and rude! They called this morning, I let them know I had already arranged services with my vet. She said "OK" and hung up on me! Screw this company and BEWARE! THEY ARE ONLY IN IT FOR MONEY AND COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PET.
Sha
The woman who answered the phone was very rude. She had zero compassion or understanding, and got snarky with me just trying to set a time. I hung up on her and will be going to Lasting Paws from now on. They were very compassionate and caring when making arrangements, it was a much better experience & I do not recommend this place.

I just got my ferret this afternoon. First of all the professionalism was not that great. Staff didn't show any emotion for my loss, the foot prints looked like they dragged his paws on the mold. Then his ashes looked like potting soil. My last ferret was grey ash not black dirt with little sticks in it. What did they truly do with his body? Why should I go through more grief after my loss. I will never go to this establishment ever again!

Peaceful Memorials took great care for our lab that passed away last week. I forgot to remove his collar and scarf when he was taken there. They made sure to get those items back to me. I cannot thank you enough!

This place is not peaceful. Please do not go here after you’ve lost a family member. The woman running it is not a nice person and was really rude after we lost someone and tried to brought him there. The love you have for your animals does not matter in this place. It’s anything but welcoming and I urge you to go somewhere else.
Zander Offutt
We had an awful experience here. Should have read all the terrible reviews about this place before scheduling. The main worker Missy should defiantly look into a different career field because she has zero customer service skills or compassion.

Unfortunately pets die and all 3 of our pets (2 dogs and a cat) had to use this service when the time came. All 3 at different times and each time all went smoothly and no problems. We will continue to use them in the future, but hopefully very distant future.

Received my pets urn from them, and I'm not impressed in the least. Big glob of glue on it's front that I just chipped off with a razor, and another dried glue spot adjacent it.

I've used homeward bound and they were fantastic. hamlet was also very compassionate and helpful. Avoid this place if u can.
