Last week Friday (September 6th) my baby girl Moose tragically and unexpectedly passed away due to complications with her heart murmur. She had been a huge part of my life. She was our first and eldest dog-ther. She’s been with us through multiple deployments, PCS moves, and major life events. Losing her was a traumatic experience for my husband and I. However, I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing employee who helped us throughout the process. She has passed away early in the morning, and we called as soon as you all opened last week. Even though we didn’t have an appointment the employee offered to let us come in right away since we had already looked online and made our decisions. She was so kind and helpful, and answered all our questions. She gave us time to say our final goodbyes with no rush in a private space. Yesterday I was called to be notified my girl was ready to be picked up. I desperately wanted to pick her up last night, and with work and traffic from coming across town I wasn’t able to make till 10 minutes before close. The same employee who helped us out the previous week is who helped us last night. She was so kind and understanding because I felt terrible coming so close to closing time. She helped us with getting some of our girls remains in necklaces and showed us the final products. I just want that employee know she really made a difference in my and my husbands experience. We even discussed as we left last night that she is a true MVP with how flexible she was on both ends. I’m sad my girl is gone, but I’m so thankful for this positive experience and that amazing employee.

We were visiting our son and daughter-in-law in Fountain Colorado, for the holidays. Our dear Camber Price, passed away unexpectedly. With huge broken hearts, we were not sure what to do. Our daughter-in-law called the animal ER Care Central, and they put us in touch with Lasting Paws Pet Memorial. What a blessing! They took him in immediately without a second thought. This is a FANTASTIC organization!Very caring and devoted staff. When we picked him up,his remains were in a container inside of a beautiful blue velvet bag. His paw print was included in a very pretty box with his name engraved underneath his paw print. Thet went above and beyond in our opinion! We HIGHLY recommend this staff.Michael & Sandy Price,LHC Arizona

Recently, I lost my beloved mouse. After euthanasia, the vet sent my mouse to Lasting Paws. The workers were very kind and compassionate. It seemed like they truly cared. She came in her urn, with fur trimmings in a little card with a certificate of cremation, and her four paw prints and tail. Everything seemed organized. I walked in and was greeted kindly. They asked for the name of my pet and after confirming my identity, the worker went to another room to retrieve her ashes. Everything was well packaged and wrapped in silk/satin pouches. This is a very difficult time for me and they truly made the experience less heartbreaking (because of their kindness and care). Even when I called to request a fur trimming last minute, they were kind and went through with my request.

I lost my 34 year old horse, I couldn't find a single equine cremation place, until I found these guys. I saw they did horses. Honestly I was terrified, all the mixed reviews I read, not a single one was about a horse. I walked in blindly during one of the most difficult times in my life. I had my Tug Tug dropped off Wednesday 1/17/24 he came home Friday 1/19/24. While I was there having him dropped off they treated him with as much respect as they could with a 1,200 pound animal. They made sure to keep me inside for the moving process, they were so kind and helped me the best they could. My old man, was returned to me with the most beautiful hoof print with his name and he was placed into a beautiful chest. My heart is crushed at the loss of my pal, I've never lived a day with out him as he was 34 and I'm only 25 but thanks to Lasting Paws I will always have him. No one ever wants to say goodbye to a pet but I'm glad he was in good hands one last time. I couldn't be more grateful for Lasting Paws for giving me my boy back so I can bring him home.

One of the worst services to need, but an exceptional experience in our moment. The staff member was friendly, compassionate, empathetic and extremely respectful of the brevity of the situation when I arrived. She helped me to remove our beautiful girl from the blankets and offered me more time with her if I needed once I started almost ugly crying once more. Most importantly, she gave me faith that they would respect our pup through the entire process, which gave me great relief in such a tough time when I had to say my final goodbye. We know that Rosie is in the best hands for the final phase of her journey. Thank you so much Lasting Paws.

Very caring people, they have taken care of 3 of our dogs with great respect. They had our last one back to us in little over 24hrs. She came home in a velvet bag, a paw print that were amazing, and a certificate of cremation. Thank you Lasting Paws for everything you did to bring Heidi home.

Losing a pet is so hard. I was absolutely devastated when my best friend of 15 years passed away in February. I want to thank Lasting Paws for handling him with care. He returned home in a beautiful box along with nose and paw prints, a clay paw print and some of his hair. I will be forever grateful for those and cherish them forever. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My cat Elvis was with me since he was six weeks old. He had only been 16 years old for 3 weeks when I had to make the unexpected decision to put him down just a few short weeks ago. I have never experienced anything like that, and the pain is still overwhelming. I picked up his ashes when I took his sister in for a comprehensive wellness check (I needed to make sure all is well with her). When I opened the bag and saw the velvet bag and then the little urn and the resources to help me through this heartbreak from Lasting Paws, I knew the very last set of hands that touched my baby were those of kindness. Thank you so much, Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services. I am truly grateful.

We lost our pup Saturday, so soon, and we were so devastated, Tuesday I went to pick her up and they had engraved the box beautifully and were so kind to us, the same night I checked the mail we received a condolences card from them as well. This was our first dog as adults we had, it meant the world to us to be dealt with so kindly when our world was flipped so fast.Thank you for your kindness, we made sure to put your card on the shelf next to our baby. Thank you again, sincerely.

When my husband’s old dog passed in 2021, Lasting Paws handled her cremation and memorial products. I remember him telling me they were absolutely reverent and so kind when they handed him the bag with everything. I expected the same when I went today to pick up my sweet girl. Instead I may as well have gone to pick up my dry cleaning. Even my dry cleaning guy is kinder on the average pickup than I experienced today, on the second saddest day I have known. I was quite taken aback. Also be forewarned that there is a smell in the air if you go pickup. I wish I had just had everything sent in the mail instead. 3 stars since they do offer a nice selection of memorial products.

I had been dreading (and I mean dreading) losing my best friend, my soul dog, Sage. I’ve had her since I was 18. She was always so full of love since she was a puppy. Sage gave chihuahuas a good name, she really loved people. She struggled with a bad heart murmur at the end of her life, but she lived 13 very spoiled years!! And even after life, you all at Lasting Paws took such outstanding care of my baby. It was so hard and bizarre leaving my best friend there, I’m so used to carrying her around everywhere in my arms. But, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to trust her with. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for the outstanding care you took of her, I will always cherish everything you made for me til I can meet her, and all my fur babies again one day. Thank you all so much for all you do!!!! ❤️

Our pet rabbit Beau passed and Tristan, the facility manager, was so kind and caring and helpful during our grief! Danielle and Lacey were also helpful. I can highly recommend this facility to help you with the passing of your pet. Great people!!

This is so beautiful and my boy came back to me like royalty. Thank you so very much for what you do. There are no words to express my appreciation for your kindness.

I appreciated the compassion and care in handling my sweet Peekaboo kitty.I’m a veterinarian in town and wouldn’t have handed my own pet over to anyone I didn’t trust implicitly. I had no doubts about bringing him to Lasting Paws and entrusting his care to Tom.The team here has been professional, compassionate and exceptionally organized in their task of being charged with such an important job. Thanks for treating my best friend of almost 16 years with such dignity and care.

My pupper passed away a year ago, and we used them, and it was fine. They got him back to us, presented beautifully, within a reasonable amount of time. Though our vet did warn us that they had a little longer of a wait, not my experience at all. They called pretty quickly. Picking up my pup, they seemed a little unorganized, but they were incredibly compassionate. Overall, I would go back, and I did call recently at the death of my guinea pig. They weren't rude about my pig at all, but they definitely didn't give me the same compassionate feeling as with me dog. They did NOT offer anything but one cremation type nor offer any memorials for my guinea pig.So that, along with the unnerved feeling i got about the disorganization, are the two things I didn't vibe with.We ended up going elsewhere for my pig. I would still consider using Lasting Paws, though.

Our poor guy had to be put to sleep for progressing medical issues after a final trip to an emergency vet's clinic. This facility was efficient and professional. He was ready to pick up in less than a week following his passing. The staff was very kind and his remains were handed over in beautifully presented packaging. His paw print is perfect and the box is simple (as we chose) but very sturdy and well-crafted. Thank you Loving Paws staff for your care in one of our most difficult times.
Rebecca Hethcox
The turnaround time was so much faster than I expected, first of all. I wish I'd known there was a private cremation option! The care taken with my boy's remains was terrific. The ashes came back in a beautiful wood box, and they even included a little card with some of his fur which I really appreciated. He passed very suddenly and I didn't have time to prepare so this mementos are really precious.

Lasting Paws took care of our sweet baby when he passed away. He was dropped off on a Monday and we got him back by Wednesday. They had a beautiful selection of urns and were very nice when we picked him up.

My veterinarian uses Lasting Paws when our pets die. I'm confident in his choice as we have always received our fur babies back quickly and the urn is very pretty. We've had many pets over the years and thanks to the kindness and professionalism, a sad situation for our hearts is made a little bit better to ensure

I cannot give Lasting Paws enough stars. My heart was broken and a part of me was lost. Losing my Gizmo was the hardest process of my life! Lasting Paws were beyond anything I could have imagined. I brought my girl in and from the start, they were caring, compassionate, respectful, and understanding. They let me be in control of the arrangements and process. They provided an amazing grieving space and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye. Never once did they pressure sale me. Every step was walked through and all decisions were respected. They respectfully handled my girl and were very responsive and transparent about the options and process. Once Gizmo was ready to come home, they placed her in the urn of my choice (*which was ordered elsewhere for my needs and I was not pressured to accept an in-house option; which were beautiful options BTW).Gizmo and her extras (nose print, paw print, and ceramic paw print) were beautifully packaged and beyond perfect. Each keepsake was protected and handled with grace. Everyone was just as caring and supportive at pickup as they were during the arrangements. While we always hope to never need this service, I am so grateful that they are here ❤

Lasting Paws was there for my family when my elderly father’s dog died at home. They were able to come within the hour to pick my dad’s dog up for cremation. They were very kind, respectful, and compassionate and for all of that, I’m eternally grateful.

Thank you for your kindness and compassion. When I mentioned that I intended to have some of my dog’s ashes crafted in a glass memorial piece, you immediately offered to put some aside for this purpose. You helped make a horrible time in my life much easier and more beautiful.

When our beloved Black Lab Kogee , my husband's hunting and fishing companion passed away, the care and dignity provided by the personnel at Homeward Bound toward my husband and Kogee's body eased the grief and pain we felt upon his parting. His cremains were returned to us in the cedar cask chosen in 24 hours.

The staff at Lasting Paws are so kind and wonderful. Today is the second time I have used their services and they are incredibly caring and considerate and treated us, and more importantly our beloved family members, with respect and dignity. Thank you so much!

My dog passed away at an emergency vets office on 7/8/22. While at the vets they had us choose an urn from a paper with about 12 options, and had us choose the color of the paw print we wanted. We also requested a ink nose print be made at additional cost ($30, so a little pricey but it was important to us). On 7/14/22 I got a voicemail saying our dog was too large to fit in the urn we had chosen which wasn't too surprising as she was a 150 pound Saint Bernard. They said they could send me over a text that day with the options they do have that would work for her. I never got the text. So I called again the next day and they said they would get it to me later in the afternoon. I didn't get any messages. I called the third day, because I know she must have been cremated and ready to pickup if not just for the urn issue. They said that would email our options. I did receive the email which only had two options. We chose the more feminine one with flowers carved on it. On 7/20 they called to tell us she was ready for pickup. The bag she brought her in was very nice, and each item, the urn, the paw print, and the nose print were packaged individually. I looked at each of them and I noticed a small crack in the top of the wooden urn. Because we were so limited on options I chose not to bring it up as it is barely noticeable and doesn't seem to be of any importance to the structural integrity of the box. I knocked one star off the review due to the lack of follow through with the urn issue but overall am satisfied with how things turned out in the end and I am just happy to have my girl home.

This place is just amazing! We were told we would get our Jubjub back in one to two weeks. His ashes were ready and returned within two days! My husband wants to say that he thinks it was because our baby and circumstance was special. Actually, I think this place thinks every baby and circumstance is special. Thank you so much for your care and detail. The certificate, the pamphlet on how to deal with grief, the beautiful urn, the velvet bag, the paw plaque, and packaging details all on point! Next time we need this type of service, we will be coming to you guys. Thank you so much for your service and attention to detail!

My beautiful baby Lilo passed away on March 13th. due to the snow I could not find anyone open to cremate her. Thankfully Lasting Paws was open and from the moment they answered their phone they were caring, understand and patient. They stepped me through the process and pricing and when I brought my dog in they treated her with respect and love. I picked up her remains today and they provided a beautiful paw print, her remains and also wild flowers to plan in her honor. Their kindness and professionalism is outstanding and I recommend them to anyone who loses a pet.

An incredible experience. Lasting Paws / Homeward Bound were very compassionate and made us feel at home. They treated our cat with dignity and respect. It gave us such peace. When we picked up our cat after his memorial services they presented us with him with such warm care and it was beautifully done. I highly recommend their services for your loved ones. Thank you!

Our beloved Sasha unexpectedly passed away a little over a week ago. My husband and I were in shock and devastated. She was our first canine fur baby. Not knowing what to do, we called our vet and they said they can help us with the cremation process. The vet sent Sasha to this amazing company. We are very grateful that they put her ashes in a nice urn and her paw print came out perfect. Thank you, Lasting Paws ❤
Shelah “Serenstar” Dow
They were very sweet and kind when I went there to pick up my baby's paw print. However, seeing her print was a shock for me. It was so sterile. It still doesn't feel right. She was a very fluffy polydactyl kitty with unique paws and claws. With her mama, the print another place did captured that spirit. This one lost everything that felt like our girl. No claw tips. No sense of fuzzy. I get the desire to get a clean print, but people are used to their angel's paw as is.I can't bear to look at it. I can't show it to my man. She passed July 31st and it's still haunting me. There is no do over. Only one time to get this right and is all we have of her other than a tuft of fur and photos. She was almost 14 and our everything.

I have no words to express my gratitude for Gwen and the team at lasting paws. We struggled to find somewhere we could trust in Pueblo to take care of our Ginger, and we feel so confident in our choice here. They were so kind and caring, even sending a sympathy card to us before we were able to get back to springs to pick up the ashes. The packaging was so thoughtful and we really appreciated the extra steps they took to make sure we were taken care of. The resources for grief and the wildflower seeds were wonderful and the urn and engraving we selected came out so beautiful. We absolutely would trust lasting paws again to handle our beloved pets when the time comes.

Thank you so much for taking good care of our pet. I don't doubt that she was given the respect and care, right to the end. Lasting Paws have treated us with such kindness and sensitivity and we really appreciate all the small gestures they made (cards, seeds etc). I highly recommend entrusting them with your pets' final journey.

I brought Chloe in after our in-home euthanasia appt. The staff were very kind and had a place for Chloe to rest in the office while I did the paperwork. It's always tough talking Financials in times like that but they did an excellent job of getting me what I needed and I got to give Chloe one last goodbye. Thanks for everything

Everybody should know about this amazing service that Lasting Paws provides. Their help really gave us peace after losing our boy. Everybody there is so nice and compassionate, it made it a comforting atmosphere during this stressed out time. But what we really appreciated was the service of being able to have a private cremation where we were able to be present to make sure our boy was by himself. This way we knew it was for sure his ashes and nobody else's. It was a hard time that they really helped with and I am forever grateful to everyone at Lasting Paws.I just don't understand how people can be upset with their prices. It's an understandable tough service to offer and I don't think their prices are unfair at all. I spared no expense on my boy through his life so there should be no reason to start now.Thank you so much for everything to Lasting Paws!

Cindy Cruikshank
My veterinarian uses Lasting Paws when our pets die. I'm confident in his choice as we have always received our fur babies back quickly and the urn is very pretty. We've had many pets over the years and thanks to the kindness and professionalism, a sad situation for our hearts is made a little bit better to ensure

They did the most wonderful job with our little Chloe girl. I highly recommend these lovely people. Very thoughtful, amazing and touching at such a horrific time in our lives.
Sarita Shoemaker
Our experience was so kind, gentle, loving and understanding of our two fur children, Kona and Zoey.

Joe Bodick
Thank you for your kindness and compassion. When I mentioned that I intended to have some of my dog’s ashes crafted in a glass memorial piece, you immediately offered to put some aside for this purpose. You helped make a horrible time in my life much easier and more beautiful.

When our beloved Black Lab Kogee , my husband's hunting and fishing companion passed away, the care and dignity provided by the personnel at Homeward Bound toward my husband and Kogee's body eased the grief and pain we felt upon his parting. His cremains were returned to us in the cedar cask chosen in 24 hours.
Kimberly Willis

If I could give this wonderful place a 100 out of 5 stars if I could. The people are amazing and they care for your fur baby as well as have compassion for the owners. I called many places... Had nothing but rude and heartless people who didn't seem to have any understanding for those of us who love our pets. I stopped callong after Homeward bound they were so caring and understanding. I took my doggo there which I had for 15 years and was my 1st and only puppy. (The others are older rescues) and just walking through the door made my heart feel at ease. They are so warm and really care about what they do here. This place is by far the best. Thank you homeward bound for helping me and taking such good care of her and giving me parts of her. (Foot print, hair, and ashes of course) You guys are great!
Priscilla Larson
Amazing staff! Super kind and sympathetic, they made this hard time a little easier. They are so thoughtful and are the best place to get your pet cremated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They go the extra mile to make you feel better, very classy, they gave me a little care package with wildflower seeds to plant in memory of my lost pet. They are just super sweet. ❤️

I’d give 5 stars due to many years of great service under “Homeward Bound”. However, since it became purchased by a corporation, I’ve experienced an unacceptable issue. My pet passed away Tuesday at 1 pm, and when I was at my vet, they called LP at 1:30, but it was too late for the day. I thought surely a pickup the next day. I called LP (not as good a name as Homeward Bound) and a very nice lady explained why pickup would take 3 days, though it was a 15 minute drive. Google map shows walking 2 1/2 hours. She said the boss felt it worked best for them. Best for them? What? What about the customer??? It certainly doesn’t work in MY best interest for my pet to stay in a deep freeze for three days on a 15 minute trip. I had the option of taking my pet out of my veterinarian’s freezer and driving to their location. Seriously, for $200, I expected much better, and it isn’t about cost alone. Lowering the standards of care is wrong. I’ll be shopping around after 20 years of excellence with Homeward Bound. I’m curious if my pets ashes are being mixed with others that day. I’ll be furious. Ask them, I will when I cool off.Update. While I’m still angry about the three day waiting in the deep freeze, I received her ashes today. I was reassured it was her ashes only. The packaging was beautiful and professional. As I opened the package, there was a beautiful cedar urn with a small brass lock, her ashes nicely bagged inside, authentic paperwork, and nice card of sympathy. That lowers my anger, the presentation of the urn was A+.

We had to take Chase, our dog who was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer to Powers Pet Emergency Oct. 31 to be euthanized. It was probably the hardest life event for me personally as Chase was so loved, my best friend, and deserved none of this. Homeward Bound handled his cremation. I went this morning to pick Chase up and the box they gave us and the care given to him was so appreciated. We just opted for a cedar latch box, no frills as part of him will go on a mountain and the family farm. We have Chase home now and I am so grateful for a place like Homeward Bound.
Jen Merrill
Thank you so much for making sure my dog CooperGirl was taken care of during cremation. It was never easy for me to let go of my 14-year old loving companionship. I picked up her urn and paw print in a box and I felt at ease knowing that you do care about pets. I appreciate little things you added in the box (i.e. pet grieving info, counseling group info and wildflower seeds). It's little things that makes life a bit brighter. You are the best.
Jessie Rosado
I received back my pet remains this week and they do a beautiful job of presenting them back in a nice wood box and velvet carrying pouch. Would highly recommend. The card and certificate of cremation were also a beautiful touch.

We lost our 13 year old Lab Dingo the evening before Thanksgiving. With it being the holiday and the unexpected heartache we found ourselves in, I can not thank the team at Lasting Paws enough for the compassion they showed us. From the very moment Gwen answered the phone we felt like we were in good hands and since then they have blown us away with how thoughtful and caring they are. We went to them because the reviews were so touching and now find ourselves singing praise as well. Thank you Gwen and team for making this loss easier for my family and I.
Bryan Tankersley
So pleased with this service! In conjunction with Home With Dignity, they made this process painless! We got our beloved TC's ashes back in a beautiful hand carved, wooden box! I'm not sure what the previous reviewer is complaining about, but we, too, got a paw print back that had a few specks of dirt in it (from his paw), as well as some of his fur stuck to the clay, and it actually added to the sentimentality of the print. I wouldn't change a thing! The gal we worked with was very sweet and very professional. I would highly recommend this service! Thank you Homeward Bound!

The most caring and compassionate people I have found in this crucial part of pet aftercare. They have a difficult job and everyone here works very hard to be efficient and compassionate at the same time. They pay great attention to detail and are very sensitive to your needs. It is without a doubt the best facility in this city and frankly we are lucky to have them. I highly recommend them.

Homeward Bound did a remarkable service for my family. The individual that cared for us in the front office was very compassionate and sympathetic to which both my husband and I needed. Just last week we received a card in the mail signed by the all the staff in sympathy of our loss, it was totally unexpected but greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything.
Angie Elliott

Beth Branigan
Thank you so much for taking good care of our pet. I don't doubt that she was given the respect and care, right to the end. Lasting Paws have treated us with such kindness and sensitivity and we really appreciate all the small gestures they made (cards, seeds etc). I highly recommend entrusting them with your pets' final journey.
Tyler McGuire
I brought Chloe in after our in-home euthanasia appt. The staff were very kind and had a place for Chloe to rest in the office while I did the paperwork. It's always tough talking Financials in times like that but they did an excellent job of getting me what I needed and I got to give Chloe one last goodbye. Thanks for everything
Alex Roldan

I was a mess at the loss of my snake fae, but the staff here were super helpful and sympathetic, they took the upmost care of my scaley baby and even used the urns my wife had made

I notice the owner only responds to positive reviews. Apparently ignores negative ones. So much of my experience with them was okay but the one thing I cannot get out of my mind is that it took them a full 2 weeks before they cremated my beloved dog's body. The thought of her body lying around for 2 weeks is devasting and so painful for me. This is not professional or compassionate or caring in any way...especially given what I was charged for this so-called service!!!
George E
The team here is fantastic. Anything bad you hear in the news or even in other reviews is not at all what my experience has been. The staff is very supportive, they provide the quiet space and time you need to grieve. Answer your questions, and give hugs if you need it. Can't recommend lasting paws enough.

Our beloved dog was brought home so much faster than expected. Everything looks so nice and the staff was so kind. Thank you for your prompt service and kind words. They mean more to our family than you’ll ever know. This was a day I dreaded but you helped us get through it and are helping us heal.

Went through Fort Carson to get our dog cremated. Received a bag with his wooden urn, a card, and some wildflower seeds with a lasting paw card as well. Very professional and caring although I did not actually met them.Would recommend them if your thinking of keeping your friend close to you forever .
Jessica F
The wooden urn is more than we could have hoped for or imagined - beautiful & engraved with our sweet girl’s name & the paw print is perfect as well. The certificate made us feel good knowing she was handled with “dignity & respect.” Thank you for your professionalism, kindness & perfect resting place for our beloved dog in this hard time for us it means so much.

My momma was concerned when Homeward Bound was purchased by a large corporation but she says the service remained outstanding. Friend Oscar was cremated on August 30th, after his battle with cancer ended. Momma went to the facility to purchase a keychain to keep a small bit of him with her at all times and the service from the employees was kind, gentle and patient during that most difficult time. His ashes were returned to us packaged in a lovely box with a sympathy card, certificate of cremation, the keychain and his pawprint. We could not have been more pleased with the way friend Oscar and Momma were treated by everyone involved.Thank you Lasting Paws for making a difficult time just a tiny bit better.

I spoke with Kaz through the entire process!! My husband and recently had to put down my ferret, Harley. She was almost 14 years old and my best friend for so long. My husband picked her up (after she was cremated) and not only brought her home, but had the most loving care package which was totally unexpected! I had no idea my little one's paw prints were going to be printed in clay with Harleys name carved beside! I cried such a good cry because I have so much more to remember her by! Thank you, Kaz, and everyone at Homeward bound! Absolutely amazing experience!
Jason Nauert
I couldn’t possibly leave a written review of how uncompassionate and dismissive they are. It’s clearly a corporate culture not an animal loving culture with employees. The Mgr is probably one of the rudest Mgrs I’ve ever encountered in my life! He said I could go elsewhere if I could find a vet that would cremate my dog with his blanket but made sure to informed me “He Controls most of the veterinary clinics in Colorado Springs, and it would be hard to find one”! Asked for corporate headquarters number and wouldn’t give it!In my opinion, If you love your pet, you won’t come here!

I can not say enough good things about lasting paws. Noone ever wants to use a service like this but they are the most caring, genuine group you could imagine. I called an emotional wreck pretty late at night and they didnt skip a beat to help us say goodbye to our forever Marley. They made something horrible not so horrible. Thank you so much.. and if you find yourself in need of saying goodbye to your furry pet this place is a must

Lasting Paws did a phenomenal job with taking care of my boy Shorty. The setup was absolutely beautiful and I will definitely be using them again in the future and a shoutout to Danielle who was a pleasure to talk to and she handled everything with care. Thank you again 💓

My cat was put out of his misery on the 6th of Febuary 2019. He had cancer and I had him since I was 7 so I was very broken hearted. I received his ashes from this place. There was a cute urn, a certificate of his cremation all nicely placed in a box. Thank you for caring for my baby boy. It was my first time doing a cremation and I hope he was handled with care. 💓

Very kind and compassionate. We always wondered when we lost Gracie if we really would know it’s her ashes...they returned her titanium hip and femur which proved we had our girl home. Thank you for giving us this comfort.

It's always hard to go through this process. My Pyrenees had kidney infection suddenly died at home Valentine's day. Within 12hrs of passing she was cremated same day in private single cremation. It cost double but I didn't want to wait a week like other places. Homeward bound was prompt and quickly accommodated my needs.

Losing my dog is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do recently and in this tough time they really really really help me out. They made it so easy for me to get the closure I needed. I am so thankful!

We went to Homeward Bound today with a dying dog. We called first and were told to just come in. We got there at 2:00 and were told that it would take 20 minutes to get a vet there to euthanize our poor dog. After numerous inquiries and 2 1/2 hours later we were told that we would have to re-schedule the following day. I guess they don’t mind making a dog suffer another day. The only employee there only seemed to be interested in selling things to people who are obvoiusly grieving for their dead pets. What a sham. Don’t go to this place if you are expecting to find somone who gives a damn about a dying and suffering dog!

I am so thankful for you all and the cutest little hamster paw prints I have ever seen! I have worked with animals for a long time and this is one of the best clay paws I have gotten back from any of my fur babies. Thank you so much!

I would not recommend this place to anyone if you really care about your four legged babies. I was wanting to make sure my Isabella was cremated by herself & the lady there could have cared less that I was concerned. Isabella was my rock when my husband was in Afghanistan and if someone can't have feelings or they have a bad day , they should stay home or get another job.

Homeward Bound was extremely professional and compassionate during the difficult process of saying goodbye to a beloved pet. They have a comprehensive website and offer a broad range of services at affordable prices. There are different tiers of services available offering a range of prices.
Jacob Claxton
Had to have my dog cremated here and I was treated very well on the phone and in person. Staff really care about your animal and empathize with your situation. Definitely made the process easier for us. Thank you
Hailey Adams
The name of our dog was spelt wrong on all memorial pieces we paid for.
Michael Hall
My dog died suddenly last week & they made an appointment for me right away that morning. The staff was incredibly kind and understanding of our situation and our emotions.
Rachel Simmons
We had to say good bye to our sweet girl Lily. With our hearts so shattered and us so unprepared for this, this company took care of it all. Even though we are heartbreaking we couldn’t have asked for a better memorial for our girl.

Website says they offer privately witnessed cremations which they do not. Their excuse for not offering it was covid. Needless to say, I called around and found a wonderful place that does allow privately witnessed cremations in Denver and for a much better price.
Holly Rekart
I lost my first love the other day and Homeward Bound was beyond amazing. Very sincere and showed so much care for never having met my pet. I cant thank them enough.
opey pribbenow
Horrible communication, price.customer service etc. bad enough when you lose your pet. Shouldn’t have to deal with a pushy incompetent staff. Took them a month to get my animal back to me at a cost of over 200$ for a 15# “partial” cremation to be told after that it’s cheaper to drop them off at a vets office beyond horrible experience with this place a most definite never do again

WE RUN A RESCUE, AND SEE THIS PLACE A LOT, SADLY. DANIELLE IS THE KINDEST, GENTLEST, MOST COMPASSIONATE LADY! MY ANIMALS ARE MY WORLD, AND THEY GET IT. THEY'RE HELPFUL, AND WILLING TO MAKE AN AWFUL SITUATION AS SEAMLESS AS POSSIBLE. USED THEM SINCE 1999. FULLY TRUST THEIR CARE AND HOW THEY WILL SUPPORT AND HELP MY RESCUE OF LOVED ONES.

Janelle Walzer

Alyssa M
I am so thankful for you all and the cutest little hamster paw prints I have ever seen! I have worked with animals for a long time and this is one of the best clay paws I have gotten back from any of my fur babies. Thank you so much!
Kaylee Dobbins
Our dog, Ranger, was cremated through Lasting Paws. The box, the card inside and the packet of wild flowers were all perfect. Thank you for taking such good care of him and giving us something back to always remember him by.
Patrice Smith
I can’t say enough good about Lasting Paws. From the phone call to the drop off and pick up of my sweet baby, we were treated with so much love and care. For such a sad experience, I wouldn’t want to have gone through it with anyone else. Thank you all so much 💜🌈💜

The staff at lasting paws were very professional and kind. The hand written sympathy card they mailed us , and the wild flower seeds were very thoughtful.
