On December 5 of 2024 I reached out to Mona Lisa to see if my dog can get groomed. She called me and tells me the prices is from 130 to 160 but I was telling her that there are some other people that’s charging lower for him when he’s a small dog and barely has a lot of hair so we’re going back-and-forth and I’m noticing that her attitude is very nasty because she’s telling me that my dog won’t be seen till probably 2pm she’s not even sure because she squeezing me in but why would I drop my dog off around 10:30 something if he’s not gonna be seen till 2pm? Its like they are biting more than they can chew because more than likely I won’t be getting my dog till probably after five and i was reading someone review on how they didnt get their dog till after 7 and i just didnt want to experince the same thing i ask for her boss number she said she was going to tell me it then proceeds to say she will send me a text never sent a text she emails me my dog vaccine records which i already had before my dog comes back to you giys on yhe 16th for his 2nd round of vaccines and the only reason why i am frustrated is because petco is way cheaper when it comes to his grooming i cant go to them because he dont have is rabies shot yet so i am forced to work with you guys since you guys do it without him having his rabies shots. I just feel like i should of been treated right espically since i am still a new customer and she has yet gave me her bosses number.

Would rate lower if I can. Poor customer service and not even "cheap". Dropped my dog off at 9:30am for grooming (with an appointment), said she'll be done after lunch. 5pm not a text or call and I had to contact them. No response so had to drive out there, just to find out they need another 1.5 hours to finish. Meaning they barely started grooming her. Poorly organized and operated place. Oh and they charged 180$ for the grooming + theraclen bath (no cutting btw).Update 9/27 : response to the ownerFirst of all, the person who took my dog in (your employee) said "most likely after lunch". Secondly what is the point of an appointment if you can not finish the service in a meaningful time. Here's some simple math, even if grooming takes 3 hours and the bath is 45 minutes, that would be 4 hours. 9:30am to 7:00pm is 10.5 hours. So tell me what you did for 7 hours that you could not contact me prior. Instead of trying to turn this on the customer, apologize and tell me how you will improve your business. For example, having a better scheduling systems so you are not biting more you can chew. That's what good management and businesses do.Additionally, my dog had no food to eat for the entire day and my plans had to be changed because you can't uphold your terms. Take care, I hope you guys do better instead of sitting on here responding with irrelevant points

Unfortunately there was a 2.5 hr wait this time around to get a couple of shots. There were about 20 pets in line before me. Before the wait would be about 40mins. It's just too much time spent waiting. Yes it's a lot cheaper than at the vets office and the staff are kind people, but unfortunately the time commitment is just too much for me.

Cheap Shots is great! The staff is great! We used to have to bring our Pitbull Lucy all the way to a vet in Oakland to get her nails trimmed. (We live in Fremont.) This Oakland vet used to give her a shot to sedate her before he cut her nails. At Cheap Shots, they are able to trim her nails without any sedation!! Good people!!! We appreciate Cheap Shots being there for the community.🤗🐾

Cheap Shots Pet Vaccine Clinic is amazing!! I began fostering kittens who were born in my yard and through some research, I found Cheap Shots online. There is not much support for those of us who foster without being affiliated with a rescue organization. Vet services and medication add up quickly when you have 7 kittens who need care.I arrived an hour early to their outside clinic in Fremont since it's first come, first serve. They opened on time, greeted us with a wonderful proverb of the day and efficiently took care of our pets while we listened to fun music. Staff was friendly, informative, helpful, patient and professional. The kittens also received a nail trim and flea treatment "on the house" which helped me prepare them for adoption.When one of the kittens wasn't feeling well a couple days later, Jess quickly scheduled an appointment for her at their clinic in San Leandro. Dusty Kitten was seen by Robert and I left there with a diagnosis, special food and medicine for her and her siblings, and most importantly, I had a lighter heart because I was very worried about her. I was relieved to find out that it was a common parasite and treatable. Their prices are AMAZING! They really want to help without charging exorbitant fees.Dusty is so much better. I'm very grateful to have found you all and I highly recommend Cheap Shots.🙏🏽❤️

We have 1 pit and 1 poodle , I had text if I can stand in line with my poodle and get my pit from car when my poodle is being seen .Because my pit dont like men and I know people are afraid of pits they said yes .We went it was Quick Service I mean were I from you can be inline for about 2-4hrs .My furr son and I got there 30mins before so we where one of the 1st to be seen less then 1 hr , which was suggested to get there earlier .Any way they helped me and accommodated when I paid nice lady ask me do I have help I said no staff kindly ask me to park a Bit closer they would go to my van to do my pitbull which I already had her teathered to floor of my van to make it easy for staff .I put muzzle on her just in case I mean I use to own a pet salon I know how some people can flip with putting a muzzle on pet but I'll put it on her if it makes staff feel safe it's no problem they finished Bothof my furr babies shots in like 5mins , which was awsom !When standing inline they brought tents like 6 or 7 - few over line so we get some what of shade and few chairs mostly for elderlys but of course up for grabs .I would definitely go back to CHEAP SHOTS , and definitely recommend , if customer service is 100% then I'm dedicated.I'm from Texas just moved here 2 months ago so it was nice to know there is a Low cost place for pet shots. I believe I only paid $60 for 3 year rabies & (1 yr) Dapp. Bordatella , Parvo .Thank you 4 people staff .

Was gonna check them out till I seen this response to a customer review. “It’s obvious you have a chip on your shoulder by the reviews you have left. You weren’t happy with the phone call and kept asking the same questions after she already spent alot of time answering them. This is just your way of making other unhappy with your paranoia. We have helped thousands of people and there are always a few unhappy ones. Take care” yeah thats definitely not the type of customer care I want.

I was texting with a girl who works for Cheap Shots about their vaccines. I had several questions and we decided to have a phone conversation instead of text. I had many questions about the single vaccines and the 4 in one vaccine along with what they were for, she was impatient and told me to look them up online for I can find my answers on google, when I stated that I am a customer needing more info on what he needs before I book an appointment for my dog she hung up on me. Then she proceeded to text and blamed me for her hanging up on me. I will NOT be taking my dog there for I don’t want to bring him to a place that is rude and impatient for they will probably be that way with him.

We had just purchased a 8 week old kitten and were on the lookout for where we could take her for her shots! I was going to go to the regular old PetSmart but let me tell you.. I’m SO glad that I did my research! I seen that cheap shots had great reviews and decided to send them a text for an appointment! They got back to me right away and fit me in the schedule the very next day! We were running a bit late from a bad accident on the freeway and they were so nice about it and had no problem still getting us in for her shots! I believe we met with Jessica and she was the nicest person ever! Sometimes you come across people who work with animals or even humans for that matter and just want a quick in and out just to get your money and I can 1000% tell you that’s not the case with them. She was awesome at answering any questions that we had not only about the shots and the process but also about the kittens food and her eating habits! The base package for the kitten was starting at $37 which was super affordable and WAY worth it considering we now know that we’ll have a life long place to go to with our animal that we can trust! We also got a few other things like a nail trim, flea preventative and her microchip! All in all it took about 7 minutes! We made our second appointment and I can’t wait to be back in the future!

I don't know why I have waited this long to give Cheap Shots a review. Let me say these people are outstanding! I have been going to Cheap Shots since my Corgi was 1 year old. I got stiffed at Banford Clinic for something like $400.00 for a puppy checkup and then wised up and started going to Cheap Shots. They have ALWAYS been knowledgeable, caring and honest. I started visiting their mobile clinic 10 years ago! They would set up shop near the animal shelter. Now, they are a thriving business with their own permanent spot in San Leandro. I have seen first hand how hard this family works. I could not be more admiring and they have my respect. They love my Shorty girl and keep me posted via email when she is due for shots, check ups, teeth cleaning etc. My dog is going to turn 11, she is super healthy and I have always trusted them implicitly. I adore my dog and if I felt these people did not know what they were doing I would not have kept going back. You see the only thing cheap about them is their prices. Thank you Cheap Shots for all the years of care you have given to my dog. I wish you continued success; you guys are what the "American Dream is about.

This place is so awesome. I recommend them to everyone I know. I have lots of friends, family and clients that are very happy with the services they offer. The prices are much better than other places. They are much friendlier and more personable than other vaccine clinics. No appointment needed which is great. I have seen them handle pets with almost every personality which makes it even better when they work with mine. Also they have multiple locations so if I miss the one I usually go to I can go to another location. Give them a try you wont regret it!

They love to charge more than the vet. Cheap Shots charged $300 for two dogs shots and it was only a couple of vaccines. They would not provide an explanation. Go to a safe vet. If all of your They are dangerous, ignorant, and combative.Do not get your pets nails cut by them as they will cut the quick. They hold no accountability for their actions. Your dogs chip should be put in when they are being spayed or neutered. Putting a chip in with no local pain relief in cruel and unusual punishment.

8/22/22 I took my cat in for hair shave and wash. Very bad Matt's needed removing. I was very worried about how stressful this would be for Bella Isabella. But when I dropped her off, there was Robert at the curb to greet us. My anxiety was quickly gone as he caringly explained the process. Bella looked great when I picked her up! It was a wonderful experiance for the both of us. Robert is caring and really cares.

I have been coming here for years! There EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN AMLOST ALL DOG BREEDS! They are so kind and compassionate who genuinely care about your dogs well being. It’s hard to find a vet of clinic who does discriminate against dog breeders. I bring all my litters here for their shots and now that they groom I’ll be bringing my babies her for thier spa day!

This place is amazing! The owners truly take the time to educate their clients about responsible pet care. They have years upon years of professional experience, consisting of formal training in veterinary care and animal behavior. They sincerely care about their clients and treat all pets with compassion and respect. Absolutely highly recommended. They will never "sell" you anything you don't need for your pet, and will share all the knowledge they have about what would benefit your pet the most. Most of the preventive care you could receive from your vet is available at Cheap Shots for a far lower cost and a much more personable experience. They have a veterinarian on site for all vaccine clinics. As a former vet tech and dog rescue volunteer, I can truly say this place is fantastic. I've used their services for not only my personal dogs, but for numerous rescue/foster dogs and cats as well. We've received everything from vaccines, heartworm testing, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm meds to nail trims. What more could you ask for? Optimal service at a very reasonable price.

I noticed that my senior pup and one of our cats were not feeling well and needed to be seen. I sent a text to Jessica at Cheap Shots in San Leandro and she said I could bring them both in on the Veterinarians day and see if they could help.Their Veterinarian looked at both pets and was able to diagnose them both. The cat needed an extraction due to a fractured tooth (ouch!) and Jessica & Robert gave me a referral for the work. In my pups case she was suffering from an allergic reaction and thankfully Cheap Shots was able to give her medication and shampoo for the itching, bumps and redness which I am sure was making her miserable. I was also able to purchase flea meds to keep the nasties away.We are SO LUCKY to have a reputable, caring and responsive business in the area who are not only great people, but get the job done!

I take my guinea pigs here for their nail trims and the caring staff is always a pleasure. The piggies vet charges $43 per pig and this clinic charges $10. Thank goodness for this clinic's very reasonable prices. I look forward to coming every 4-5 months.

Its poorly run the staff is rude and discourteous. Your time and your business is not respected. You will be better off just paying the extra money and going to your vet or ANY OTHER mobile pet vaccination clinic. The ordeal took literally all day! I for one will never and i mean never deal with them again. The word cheap in the name describes the service you receive perfectly

IMPORTANT TO KNOW - I wouldn't come here unless you're fully prepared with what your pet needs and how much the prices are. This place is about volume/money making and NOT QUALITY. Go to East Bay SPCA where there are veterinarians and professionals who understand animal medicine and health and where the prices aren't randomly inputted by someone who doesn't know how much the vaccinations are.They are in the business to over vaccinate your pets, relying on the fact that you trust their lack of knowledge with vaccinations.We went there for lepto boosters and the woman there mischarged us and when I asked her why she said that the price is different when you get more shots (not correct). I'm glad I had a record of the text that I was told it was $25, not $30. I know that ultimately it is our own decision whether vaccinations are done on our pets (that's why we didn't get our Lyme booster done) but many people go there to rely on their "expertise." Our vet later told us that Lyme vaccination was not necessary. So why are all the staff telling people to get lyme vacc? When people should be getting more information on if the pet is on proper flea/tick preventative. Over vaccinating!The staff is chaotic/unprepared/unprofessional there and don't have adequate knowledge of vaccinations. All vets would agree to not overvaccinate your dog - this place is taking advantage of people who don't know that. This place is about volume and NOT QUALITY. (Also see their reply full of typos and anger, typical from the staff)

yeah I just started volunteering for these people and they're very awesome and they do a great job and have a wide variety of things besides vaccinations to give your pet they have flea products and they have microchipping and they have grooming and doggy daycare and some medical assistence it's such a good deal it looks like a great up-and-coming still growing facility

Other than low prices, be prepared to wait with no shade and unfriendly check-in customer service.Staff who give shots are nice though.

I don't know why I have waited this long to give Cheap Shots a review. Let me say these people are outstanding! I have been going to Cheap Shots since my Corgi was 1 year old. I got stiffed at Banford Clinic for something like $400.00 for a puppy checkup and then wised up and started going to Cheap Shots. They have ALWAYS been knowledgeable, caring and honest. I started visiting their mobile clinic 10 years ago! They would set up shop near the animal shelter. Now, they are a thriving business with their own permanent spot in San Leandro. I have seen first hand how hard this family works. I could not be more admiring and they have my respect. They love my Shorty girl and keep me posted via email when she is due for shots, check ups, teeth cleaning etc. My dog is going to turn 11, she is super healthy and I have always trusted them implicitly. I adore my dog and if I felt these people did not know what they were doing I would not have kept going back. You see the only thing cheap about them is their prices. Thank you Cheap Shots for all the years of care you have given to my dog. I wish you continued success; you guys are what the "American Dream is about.

This place is so awesome. I recommend them to everyone I know. I have lots of friends, family and clients that are very happy with the services they offer. The prices are much better than other places. They are much friendlier and more personable than other vaccine clinics. No appointment needed which is great. I have seen them handle pets with almost every personality which makes it even better when they work with mine. Also they have multiple locations so if I miss the one I usually go to I can go to another location. Give them a try you wont regret it!

They love to charge more than the vet. Cheap Shots charged $300 for two dogs shots and it was only a couple of vaccines. They would not provide an explanation. Go to a safe vet. If all of your They are dangerous, ignorant, and combative.Do not get your pets nails cut by them as they will cut the quick. They hold no accountability for their actions. Your dogs chip should be put in when they are being spayed or neutered. Putting a chip in with no local pain relief in cruel and unusual punishment.

8/22/22 I took my cat in for hair shave and wash. Very bad Matt's needed removing. I was very worried about how stressful this would be for Bella Isabella. But when I dropped her off, there was Robert at the curb to greet us. My anxiety was quickly gone as he caringly explained the process. Bella looked great when I picked her up! It was a wonderful experiance for the both of us. Robert is caring and really cares.

I have been coming here for years! There EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN AMLOST ALL DOG BREEDS! They are so kind and compassionate who genuinely care about your dogs well being. It’s hard to find a vet of clinic who does discriminate against dog breeders. I bring all my litters here for their shots and now that they groom I’ll be bringing my babies her for thier spa day!

This place is amazing! The owners truly take the time to educate their clients about responsible pet care. They have years upon years of professional experience, consisting of formal training in veterinary care and animal behavior. They sincerely care about their clients and treat all pets with compassion and respect. Absolutely highly recommended. They will never "sell" you anything you don't need for your pet, and will share all the knowledge they have about what would benefit your pet the most. Most of the preventive care you could receive from your vet is available at Cheap Shots for a far lower cost and a much more personable experience. They have a veterinarian on site for all vaccine clinics. As a former vet tech and dog rescue volunteer, I can truly say this place is fantastic. I've used their services for not only my personal dogs, but for numerous rescue/foster dogs and cats as well. We've received everything from vaccines, heartworm testing, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm meds to nail trims. What more could you ask for? Optimal service at a very reasonable price.

I noticed that my senior pup and one of our cats were not feeling well and needed to be seen. I sent a text to Jessica at Cheap Shots in San Leandro and she said I could bring them both in on the Veterinarians day and see if they could help.Their Veterinarian looked at both pets and was able to diagnose them both. The cat needed an extraction due to a fractured tooth (ouch!) and Jessica & Robert gave me a referral for the work. In my pups case she was suffering from an allergic reaction and thankfully Cheap Shots was able to give her medication and shampoo for the itching, bumps and redness which I am sure was making her miserable. I was also able to purchase flea meds to keep the nasties away.We are SO LUCKY to have a reputable, caring and responsive business in the area who are not only great people, but get the job done!

I take my guinea pigs here for their nail trims and the caring staff is always a pleasure. The piggies vet charges $43 per pig and this clinic charges $10. Thank goodness for this clinic's very reasonable prices. I look forward to coming every 4-5 months.

Its poorly run the staff is rude and discourteous. Your time and your business is not respected. You will be better off just paying the extra money and going to your vet or ANY OTHER mobile pet vaccination clinic. The ordeal took literally all day! I for one will never and i mean never deal with them again. The word cheap in the name describes the service you receive perfectly

IMPORTANT TO KNOW - I wouldn't come here unless you're fully prepared with what your pet needs and how much the prices are. This place is about volume/money making and NOT QUALITY. Go to East Bay SPCA where there are veterinarians and professionals who understand animal medicine and health and where the prices aren't randomly inputted by someone who doesn't know how much the vaccinations are.They are in the business to over vaccinate your pets, relying on the fact that you trust their lack of knowledge with vaccinations.We went there for lepto boosters and the woman there mischarged us and when I asked her why she said that the price is different when you get more shots (not correct). I'm glad I had a record of the text that I was told it was $25, not $30. I know that ultimately it is our own decision whether vaccinations are done on our pets (that's why we didn't get our Lyme booster done) but many people go there to rely on their "expertise." Our vet later told us that Lyme vaccination was not necessary. So why are all the staff telling people to get lyme vacc? When people should be getting more information on if the pet is on proper flea/tick preventative. Over vaccinating!The staff is chaotic/unprepared/unprofessional there and don't have adequate knowledge of vaccinations. All vets would agree to not overvaccinate your dog - this place is taking advantage of people who don't know that. This place is about volume and NOT QUALITY. (Also see their reply full of typos and anger, typical from the staff)

I love this place, my dogs don't do well in a vets office but they love it here. I like the fact that they know exactly what is needed when I take them in. I won't ever go anywhere else for shots.

I would highly recommend this place. Very affordable. The fast and quick and easy. Excellent understanding and friendly service. I would definitely recommend for people who are on a tight budget. Mona was responsive in a timely friendly manner. I was able to have a sit down with the Veterinarian Sergio Espinosa. I’m glad that I was able to find this place. Please note that they do send the Rabies Certificate and all vaccines Certificate before you leave your visit. However, they do not give out rabies tags. But keep in mind your certificate is also valid and important.
