Only place to find affordable aquamation since discovering it a few years back!! They are always so kind, informative, understanding and handled everything for us with no stress or worry. They always reassured us our pets were going to be treated with dignity and respect. We got to have time alone with our pets in a private room dedicated to celebrating their life; no rush. They even offer 8 free choices of urns with the services offered; all so beautiful! We did not want to opt for cremation or aquamation at another location since no other locations can guarantee your pet ashes back and your pet only. Private services were almost double the prices of BAM; including the cost of 45+ miles of travel. We did not want to do a group cremation or aquamation and were very pleased when they informed us they do each pet individually to ensure you get your fur baby back. We will continue to use them in the future and let anyone with or without pets know about the amazing, life changing services they offer. Truly remarkable what they do and gets overlooked so often. Great and would recommend for anyone that doesn’t know where to turn or a first time pet owner that just experienced their first passing. Thank you for your compassion and the respect you treat my family with every visit!

I genuinely recommend this place to any and every pet loving family. As pets become one of our family members having a place that genuinely feels welcoming, safe and comfortable during your last moments with your beloved animal is unique and special. This is definitely the place to go as I was surprised by how accommodating they were the moment I walked in by greeting me so nicely to explain everything in great detail, it really felt like a memorial service with the way they had things set up. I genuinely hope to use either services again in the long future. Thank you so much to Kasey for making this experience easier I know my beautiful baby bird is in good and caring hands. This was a beautiful experience and more than I could’ve ever asked for from a pet mortuary.

I am so incredibly thankful for KC and the services this place offers for pets. I lost my pet guinea pig and the whole process through Bay Area Mortuary was incredible. KC has so much empathy and is very supportive during the whole process. I am so grateful that there is a place like this in the area, since I have been to the vet for cremation in the past and it tends to feel very unsupportive and that they don’t care. This place will show you that they care and you will feel it. I recommend this place to anyone who has lost a beloved per. KC is amazing!

It was a hard decision when choosing the forest scattering service for my guinea pig-Nutnut. I know keeping the ash will make me feel better but I believe Nutnut would want a bigger place to explore. I want to thank KC for the caring and professional manner in which she handled the services for Nutnut. I burst into tears when seeing the cute flowers and Nutnut's name made by wooden sticks she prepared. She really treats my pet like family. I'm so thankful that Nutnut will live happily ever after in such a beautiful redwood forest.

I really want to highlight the importance of places like this and this place in particular, since having closure when a pet dies is so important. I was able to move forward with my life even after a few days with a pet I raised from its birth, mostly thanks to this place. The care they show the animals and the people involved is amazing, and if, God forbid, I have another pet die, I’ll be sure to come to Bay Area Mortuary again.

Horrible place to Even consider taking your pet here!! . The payment method thru me off (pay-pal)!? Just made it very inconvenient for someone who's never done this before, who was trying to get my fur-baby in and prepped for cremation. On day 2 and still no call back from DR. Casey Damn I get Clinic was busy but a courtesy call would've been nice to guide me elsewhere .

Wow, I’m shocked how bad my experience was. My beloved dog passed away and I called Bay Area mortuary pet cremation to ask about the cremation, and I was greeted with the most rude, unprofessional woman ever. She seemed confused about the fact that I needed a cremation, and yelled super loudly, “Cremation? FOR WHO??? FOR WHO??? FOR YOUR LOVED ONE?” I even thought that I’d called the wrong number for a moment. For some reason, the woman working at a PET CREMATION service was confused about why my PET needed a CREMATION. Let me tell you—being yelled at rudely by someone over the phone after your best friend passes away, really sucks. Needless to say, i went to a different pet cremation service and had a much better experience.

The rudest customer service you will ever encounter. They don't bother offering prices over the phone, they'll just refer you to their website. If they treat customers with such a crass attitude, how do you think they will treat your beloved remains?
