I want to thank West Coast Pet Memorial for their excellent customer service and compassion toward me during this incredibly difficult time losing my best friend and soul kitty, Rose. There was a woman named Martha who took my phone calls and she was able to assist me with every question I had and also showed such kindness and care toward me. I received my Rose's ashes in a beautiful, hand-carved, wooden box, along with a clay imprint of her paw. Thank you for exceeding my expectations, especially during this difficult time. Rose will be with me forever, now. ❤️

First funeral service and burial for our first beloved dog. Shawnee was patient, helpful and attentive to our family needs. Pricing is very reasonable. Ryan is very professional and compassionate. He goes above and beyond to make my baby boy looks perfect. Highly recommend West Coast - San Diego Pet Memorial Park. We can't thank Ryan enough for his kindness and service provided.

When the vet messed up my boy's name (and the urn he was supposed to be interred in), I called them to fix it. After getting a frustrating response, I called West Coast Pet Memorial directly and spoke with Shawnee.SHE WAS INCREDIBLE. She gave several options on how to best fix it, and said "we NEED to get his name on there."In the event that you need support for your pet's funerary aftercare, they are INCREDIBLE. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!I don't know how much Shawnee is making, but it's not enough! She's amazing!Thank you for your incredibly caring response and treatment for Pope Samuel L. Jackson the Grandpotato. <3

Last October (2023), we buried our little dog at the Memorial Park. As part of our contract, West Coast was to update an existing grave marker with his DOD. As of today, May 10, 2024, it still has not gotten it done. I keep getting a lame excuse that the burial marker company will get to it. I will never do business with West Coast again. The previous owners of San Diego Pet Memorial Park were great to work with. Too bad it's under new ownership.

Compassion is the first word that comes to mind of our experience with West Coast Pet Memorial. We used their cremation services for Elvis and Priscilla our beloved cats. Priscilla went first, followed by Elvis a few months later. We weren't sure what to expect when we received Priscilla's remains. The cedar box holding their remains was of the highest quality and was enclosed with a royal blue velvet bag along with an engraved brass tag to secure to the cedar box. The personal touch of a card with a lock of their hair, a document of their cremation date and cast of their paws told us they treated them with care and respect.Elvis received the same care and compassion when we used them again for his services.

I buried both my fur babies here. We had a wake to spend last moments with them and had a burial. They gave me paw prints on claw and snip of fur. Nice peaceful place to visit. They have changed ownership twice and don't ever expect a call back for weeks unless you cremate. I can't get through. Think they are ignoring me at this point. Just want to get my tomb done. Probably duh up my dogs after this review or before. Sketchy place.I would like to change my review. It is one of the only places to bury your fur baby and the new manager is amazing and will work with you on what you want. It has a reasonable price compared to the other pet cemetery. Of you don't want to cremate this is a perfect place to go visit your fur babies because they are family to some of us.

When we found out my dog didn’t have much time left, I picked couple cremation service places. Honestly this place wasn’t. First choice place was out of town that day, and another one wasn’t responded. So, I called this place. It was late afternoon and almost closing time. On the phone, they remind me that they will close soon, so I was little afraid if this place is really business like and not really care about pet or owner. But once I showed up, they treated me really nice and took enough time to take care of me and my dog. Staffs are professional and treated my dog with best respect. We are planning to get personalized urn, so picked most basic one.A couple days later, I picked him up. He came in beautiful box and also his paw print and fur too! I wasn’t expecting those gift!I really appreciate their service and care.

I had a burial for my beloved kitty Sunkissed here ans they have been so great and sweet. I got a paw print as well as an urn with her name engraved and we are working on her headstone with her picture on it. Ryan, the caretaker for the grounds, is so sweet and I can tell he really cares about the pets and their families and respecting their religious and cultural beliefs. I feel like he will watch over Sunkissed and her resting place which gives me a lot of peace! Such a great tribute to my kitty who got me through so many hospitalizations for a serious illness, and so much more in life. :) I am glad she will be remembered here.

I used San Diego Pet Memorial three years ago when my Chihuahua died. Their prices are reasonable and at the time they were all I could afford. I was satisfied with the way they handled my precious pet. I didn't get much sympathy but I know that was probably too much to expect.Fast forward to this year. I lost another one of my pets and I called them again. I knew their prices would still be reasonable and they were. However, this time they had a wonderful lady working there. Here name was Catherine. She was so sympathetic, kind and so caring. She sent almost daily emails on ways to cope with my pets loss. She has a support group where once a week, owner's whose pets have died can call in and all can talk about it on the phone at the same time. She even brought in a pet psychic on one of those calls and that was wonderful. I had been blaming myself for my pet's violent death, but I had told no one about that and she told me that my pet was telling me not to blame myself for it. That helped a lot. Catherine no longer works there but I believe she still runs the support group. She was wonderful and I hope San Diego Pet Memorial Park will continue with the same kind of support that Catherine was providing.

It's one of those places you'd hope you wouldn't need to visit but you do. I've never experienced anything like the pain of losing my baby girl. Nothing is going to make it better but this place was amazing. They handled her in a very caring manner, the whole process was quick and easy and I was able to stay updated by calling. They even did extra stuff for me that I asked if they could. They said they would try their best and they did and did a wonderful job. I received everything I ordered, the box for the ashes was beautiful, solid and well done. The picture on it looks great. I have my paw prints and lock of fur as well. I will definitely recommend this place and when the time comes again I will go back to them. I can't thank you all enough for taking such great care of my sweet girl.

A vet had recommended this place. After having to put our dog down at 12 years old we opted to do it at the county animal shelter to save some money after spending so much at the vet. We had her put to sleep at about 5:50pm and West Coast pet memorial had picked her up promptly early the next morning. They even provided us with a 20% discount because we were using the county animal shelter. It took about 8 days till I had our precious pets ashes to bring home. I think they told me 7-10 days? Another thing they mentioned is that they do the cremations independently so ashes of other pets don’t get mixed in. Such a sad time, but they were very professional and compassionate with me every time I talked with them. A little tricky to find, but it’s a very peaceful place.

My husband and I go to San Clemente Veterinary Hospital. My dog, Tator, fell very sick a few years back it was thought that he had gotten better. After two years, he fell ill again and when he took a turn for the worst, we made the hardest decision we ever have had to make.We put him to sleep a little over a week ago and today, we got the phone call from our vet that his ashes were ready to be picked up. When we got to the car, we went through the discrete blue bag that everything came in. We got much more than expected. We decided on a package with the cedar box. I wasn't aware that his name would be custom put on the lid. The box is beautiful and very solid. There was also a blue bag with his pawprint as well as a bit of his hair clippings. His name was written into the back of the pawprint as well. As hard as the past week and a half has been, there was a sense of calm after seeing such beautiful artwork for our baby boy. He will be very much missed but we have something amazing to remember him by thanks to this amazing company. Luckily their name was on the bag his personal items came in so I was able to personally thank you guys for the amazing work you have done for our family. Thank you so much.

San Diego Pet Memorial ParkI’m not even sure where to begin to describe how much of a miserable experience we have had with San Diego Pet Memorial Park! Our precious dog passed away on November 1st. We took her to our personal vet for individual cremation, we were told she would be sent to San Diego Pet Memorial Park, and that it would take 1-2 weeks. We were told we could have anything we chose engraved on her urn along with a photo engraving for an addition price. When I didn’t hear anything for nearly 3 weeks, I called my vet for an update, and about 2 days later I got a call back saying that they had started the engraving, and realized that it wouldn’t all fit on the box, so I needed to cut some off from the end, as they had already engraved the first 4 lines. At this time I expressed my frustration for the fact that this wasn’t already complete, and that it wasn’t reasonable for me to be forced to remove the end part of what I wanted to say, just because they chose to start engraving before realizing it wouldn’t fit! I was then told “never mind, they said they can make it work”.This was just the beginning of the most frustrating part of my ordeal!!They then delivered the urn for the first time to my vet with only my dogs name on it, none of the requested engraving, causing it to be sent back for the appropriate engraving...They delivered it a second time to my vet with a misprint (duplicated the word “and”), so it was sent back a second time...They delivered it a 3rd time, this time with spelling mistakes that weren’t present on the draft given to them as to what it should say... so it was sent back a 3rd time...They delivered it a 4th time, at which time I was told it was correct and should come in to pick it up. We picked it up, took it home, and found that the word “and” was doubled up again, essentially being a repeat of the first engraving error! With this level of unprofessionalism and incompetence, it honestly has me concerned that it isn’t even my beloved dogs remains inside the box, if they aren’t able to handle a task as simple as copy and pasting text into their computer for a digital engraving process, it leaves me with very little confidence in the other services they have been paid to perform. This whole ordeal ended up taking 27 days, and still was not done correctly. It has made a terribly painful time in our lives so much harder than it should have been.I have found the services of San Diego Pet Memorial to be unprofessional, incompetent, and insensitive. I would highly recommend you not trust their services for your beloved pets.

My cat was processed instead of cremated. I just picked up my cats of 12 years ashes, today from my Vets that started using this shameful company. Every possible thing that can have the company's name advertised on it does. Every piece I received is slapped with a bar code and batch number because he was done with others instead of by himself. I got his paw print and it was of his back paw instead of his front and its sloppily done at that. They forced a 14 pound cat into a vase not bigger than my hand! Don't use this company they do not care for your pets they are just numbers and dollars for them.

Today I picked up my baby ashes in his cedar box which was so hard and saw a blue baggy and didn't know what was in it. And when I opened it was Smokey paw print and his hair in a clear baggy. That was just so awesome. Thanks for that. It's nice to have him home highly recommend 💗

They didn't give me my babies fur clipping. As she was cremated, this is unfixable. I have tried calling them multiple times and left a voicemail. Still haven't received a call back.

Why did my dear dog come back n a much smaller box than the one they did for me last year who weighed 20 pounds less? My 75 pound dog is in a cedar box the same size as my 30 pound dog. What am I to think? I paid for private cremation.

Couple minor bumbs but i have to say that everyone i talked to and worked with were very polite and professional. I have my friend's ahes back with me and the entire experience was easy. Had my buddy since he was 2 days old. Until a little past 13 yrs. I dropped him off myself after euthanized and picked up his ashes a few days later. Then his box a couple of weeks later. Thank you to everyone here for making this process painless.
