I called Bruce on a whim and he arrived 30 minutes later w gurney and all devices needed to get my girl to the vet. I don’t know what I would have done without him. Bruce (S. D. Pet Driver),was a lateral answer to my payer, during a most heartbreaking situation!My sweet, sweet,Husky, Hana, became critically ill around midnight. I had taken my sleep aid at 11:00 pm, so I could not safely drive her to to the emergency hospital... After contacting Bruce,he arrived at my home within 35 mins & escorted myself & Hane to the Emergency Pet Hospital in Encinitas, (also a 5 star establishment).Bruce's empathetic & gentle nature served as a comforting presence throughout, what could have been, a frightening & lonely drive to our destination; where I knew I'd have to say goodbye to my constant companion.I highly recommend Bruce to anyone who is in need of service & care for they're pets.Tara Sjoberg

Very comforting experience from Bruce ! My pet frog passed away and I didn’t know of anywhere else that would cremate him, I found Bruce and he was here to help within 20 minutes of payment . He was very trusting and caring of everything, I didn’t have to worry about anything happening to my baby, and he brought him back to me decently fast! It was a frog so I wasn’t able to get the paw print but he even gave me a print of his full body instead without me even having to ask , I couldn’t have been more happy ! This whole experience was great and exactly what I needed to help the grieving process.

Bruce was able to take on a last minute pet transport for 2 dogs from Las Vegas to Northern California. He sent photo and video updates throughout the day. He arrived earlier than his estimated time and kept the dogs until we were able to pickup. The dogs arrived happy and weren’t caged during the trip which was a huge plus!

San Diego Pet Driver is amazing! My husband and I just moved from Hawaii to New Mexico. We have 2 large dogs that could not fly further than California due to heat embargoes, so we had to drive from CA to NM. Our car had already been shipped and was waiting at the dock pick up. We had nightmares of one of us waiting at the airport with dogs and luggage, while the other took a taxi to the dock 🙄Here’s where San Diego Pet Driver came to rescue! Bruce picked all four of us up (including luggage and crates!!) from the airport and drove us to the shipper. He waited with the dogs while we got our car!!I cannot imagine trying to manage the trip without Bruce’s help. I wish there were more services like this.

A Lifesaver for Furry Friends!My dog needed to get to the emergency urgently. Luckily, I found Bruce through referral from our vet. From the moment I contacted them, Bruce was incredibly helpful and understanding. He was easy to reach, easy to pay, a great driver, cared a lot about our dog, and was reassuring during this stressful event. Overall, I cannot recommend Bruce highly enough! Bruce was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with in a difficult situation. On short notice he was available to pick up our elderly 100lb dog who couldn’t walk and drive her to the animal hospital. He was kind and gentle with Dusty who gets super anxious but was extremely comfortable with him. Bruce coordinated with me and the vet and picked Dusty up for me and brought her home with her meds and medical instructions . Super nice guy, wonderful to work with and my dogs instantly took a liking to him. Today I’m back at the animal hospital with Charlie, my 12 year old lab, with Bruce’s help. Highly recommend Bruce. I’m glad to have found him.

Bruce was on time 🕰️ and flexible in my last-minute request to change pickup dates. My two large breed dogs 🐶 🐶 hopped right into his van 🚐 - it is lower to the ground, so perfect for senior dogs or dogs with hip problems. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos but I will next time!

I requested for pets taxi to airport in morning 5.20 am. To make sure that the pick up goes smoothly Bruce arrived at pick up point 20 minutes before. Knowing that this is my dogs first air travel he helped me with all the important information and questions I should be asking to airlines, Bruce is very knowledgeable and helpful about pet transportation/air travel. He also helped me with my baggage’s , pups crate loading and unloading from transportation vehicle. Bruce was FANTASTIC helping to get my dog to a very important vet appointment when I was out of town. The appointment was not straight forward on pickup time because it was up in the air what the outcome of the appointment would be but Bruce kept in touch with me, the vet, stayed and waited and then when it was hours more my pup had to stay in the vet he came back as soon as he was ready. The communication was excellent and I trusted him, and now he's home safe and happy. Thanks so much Bruce!

Bruce is simply Hands Down The Best!!! He is a very Kind, Loving, Amazing person you’ll ever meet, you get that the moment you are with him! My dog Nico is afraid of his own shadow and it usually takes time for him to warm up to people and feel comfortable around them. When Nico met him for the very first time, he went right up to him and wanted to play! We had him take care of our dogs Cora and Nico for the weekend and we already knew they were in good hands with Bruce but we were even more convinced when Nico reacted that way with Bruce! Our girl Cora was super happy to see him and when he brought them back home to us they came back super happy and relaxed! Bruce’s Door to door service is without a doubt second to none! I recently contacted Bruce looking for a pet sitter to walk and look after a client’s dog for a few hours. I’m so thankful to have found Bruce! I was under so much stress having to ship two dogs. Bruce was very communicative throughout the whole process, was reaffirming, and he helped ease my anxiety the entire way. He made sure he was able to find the pickup spot beforehand so the morning of pickup (3:30am) was smooth. There was a hiccup with the airline initially but from start to finish he was so caring and made sure that my pups and I would be okay. I highly recommended his services!

Bruce was awesome! He picked up our boy and took him for a walk to get out. We received pictures of him and he looked really relaxed and happy. I would highly recommend anyone who needs someone that cares for their pet use him if moving trough the San Diego area. We always worry about Oakley flying and making sure he’s treated well and we got a great experience with Bruce. He kept us informed every step of the way and communicated with us to let us know where Oakley was in each step of the process.

I used San Diego pet driver’s services to transport my dog Bailey from LAX to my apartment in San Diego. Bruce was quick to respond to me with a quote and he was very responsive generally with updates. He kept me updated via calls and texts. He is very experienced with picking up dogs from the airport and he was well equipped to pick up my German shepherd from the airport with an extra large crate. He did a wonderful, highly professional, well-organized job from beginning to end, including regular updates on our dog's health and activities via text & email (and some very nicely shot photographs). Bruce arrived at our home in more than enough time to get our dog to his eye doctor appointment on time. His van is a beautiful, clean Mercedes that was completely adjusted for both my husband and I to be very comfortable, and most importantly he had a space next to my seat for my dog’s large bed that was so comfortable that he slept the whole trip! Bruce went above and beyond just driving us to and back from our appointment. He helped my handicapped husband get situated in his seat, he secured our dog’s harness so he couldn’t roam around any farther than his bed, he got our dog in and out of the van, helped me remember things to ask the doctor and if all that wasn’t enough, he is the nicest guy! We had a great time talking with him during our trip. He’s an excellent driver too. We’re already set up with him for our follow up appointment in 2 weeks. Finding Bruce was the best thing and made what started out as a very stressful situation into very positive one. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Bruce has assisted me on two separate occasions with my elderly greyhound and I could not be more complimentary. The first, while I was out of state he helped coordinate logistics and transport my dog from sitter to vet to animal hospital. I received glowing feedback about Bruce from all providers along the way. Bruce facilitated my dog getting the help she needed and was a comforting force to me while I was helplessly away.The next time, Bruce helped carry my dog by stretcher and transport to the animal hospital and back home. He waited at the hospital with me, keeping me company for a couple of hours which he didn't have to do. Further, as he knew I'd had a difficult 24 hours, the next day, he brought me lunch and some desperately needed dog supplies just to be nice. Highly recommend

I was trying for weeks to figure out how I could get myself, my bags, my 70 pound dog and 3 cats to Budget rental car at San Diego International Airport by myself. I contacted several concierge services but they weren’t based in the US and didn’t seem to understand what I needed. One night worrying at 2 AM about what my arrival in San Diego from Kona, Hawaii was going to look like and I googled pet limo instead of baggage assistance and that’s when I found Bruce. Bruce was FANTASTIC helping to get my dog to a very important vet appointment when I was out of town. The appointment was not straight forward on pickup time because it was up in the air what the outcome of the appointment would be but Bruce kept in touch with me, the vet, stayed and waited and then when it was hours more my pup had to stay in the vet he came back as soon as he was ready. Bruce is simply Hands Down The Best!!! He is a very Kind, Loving, Amazing person you’ll ever meet, you get that the moment you are with him! My dog Nico is afraid of his own shadow and it usually takes time for him to warm up to people and feel comfortable around them. When Nico met him for the very first time, he went right up to him and wanted to play! I’m so thankful to have found Bruce! I was under so much stress having to ship two dogs. Bruce was very communicative throughout the whole process, was reaffirming, and he helped ease my anxiety the entire way. Bruce was awesome! He picked up our boy and took him for a walk to get out. We received pictures of him and he looked really relaxed and happy. Where do we begin? We have a 5 year old French Bulldog named Queenie and since both Steven and I were both out of town when all this craziness occurred and honestly Bruce was one of the many heroes that week. If I can remember this was on a Tuesday in June. I had received a call from the Vet’s office saying that the daycare place brought her over because Queenie wasn’t feeling good. They had ran test but could not find anything. They also performed an X-ray in which they thought perhaps she could have an obstruction but to be sure she needed to be taken to the Animal Emergency Hospital for an Ultrasound. They drove her out of town to the Emergency Hospital for ultrasound in which they could not find anything. Finally the attending Physician at night called me at 4:30am and stated that she believed that she may have a herniated disc. She said that Queenie would need a Neurologist asap to perform an MRI and possibly surgery. I immediately began looking for flights to come back to the states. She called back at 10am and said she had reached out to a specialty hospital with a neurologist and they would take her. But again; this Hospital was 1 1/2 hours away. We told her we didn’t have anyone that could travel to where they were and transport Queenie, she said that she knew of a service and just like that, Bruce called. We spoke on the phone. He had received the information from the Emergency Hospital the main thing is that he provided a price and we agreed, within minutes the transaction was complete and he was on his way to grab my baby girl. At this point I couldn’t get a direct flight and I began to panic and started thinking about how scared she was. Out of the blue, I received a text with a picture of Queenie and Bruce. He stated he had her and they were enroute to the Specialty Hospital. Once he arrived he took another picture and said she is okay and they were waiting. I know that this seems weird, why would I take the time to write this whole story when I could just say he was good. It’s a lot more. The reassurance of the pictures the communication was so needed. Queenie ended up having surgery for herniated disc’s and is going through Physical Therapy and now at home. I have now received two follow up emails and a text from Bruce asking how is Queenie. It means so much to me and if this story isn’t enough to get you to see how great his service is and how much his small tokens of communications and follows up means then I’m not sure what will. Thank you Bruce when I felt helpless and unsure of what to do, you were there for our baby. May god bless you.

Bruce arrived at our home in more than enough time to get our dog to his eye doctor appointment on time. His van is a beautiful, clean Mercedes that was completely adjusted for both my husband and I to be very comfortable, and most importantly he had a space next to my seat for my dog’s large bed that was so comfortable that he slept the whole trip! Bruce went above and beyond just driving us to and back from our appointment. He helped my handicapped husband get situated in his seat, he secured our dog’s harness so he couldn’t roam around any farther than his bed, he got our dog in and out of the van, helped me remember things to ask the doctor and if all that wasn’t enough, he is the nicest guy! We had a great time talking with him during our trip. He’s an excellent driver too. We’re already set up with him for our follow up appointment in 2 weeks. Finding Bruce was the best thing and made what started out as a very stressful situation into very positive one. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Bruce has assisted me on two separate occasions with my elderly greyhound and I could not be more complimentary. The first, while I was out of state he helped coordinate logistics and transport my dog from sitter to vet to animal hospital. I received glowing feedback about Bruce from all providers along the way. Bruce facilitated my dog getting the help she needed and was a comforting force to me while I was helplessly away.The next time, Bruce helped carry my dog by stretcher and transport to the animal hospital and back home. He waited at the hospital with me, keeping me company for a couple of hours which he didn't have to do. Further, as he knew I'd had a difficult 24 hours, the next day, he brought me lunch and some desperately needed dog supplies just to be nice. Highly recommend

My story is: I needed to move my husband (who is a disabled vet with health problems) to San Diego for his health which is going down hill after the stress of an awful situation that happened to us on Maui. We lived in the Hawaiian Islands for many years and didn't plan to move back to the mainland. We had (probably too) many animals (4 cats/5 toy breed dogs). This move happened after a renter destroyed our rental property, illegally sublet it, exploiting the COVID moratorium on evictions and stole our rent money, which lead to a many month legal battle and renovation, which included a lot of physical labor for me (since my husband was too ill to do it). I blew my back out doing this reno. Bad. I'm not young, or healthy myself. I have a heart condition and high blood pressure, so this rogue renter and the subsequent reno literally put my life in jeopardy. But I persisted and survived this evil man. My determination and a lot of prayer got me to San Diego. But....to manage getting my pets (however small) through the airports and all that entails physically, mentally and emotionally both pre-boarding, boarding and post-boarding was really one of the hardest things I ever had to do. My back was in constant agony. Due to the pervasive drug abuse that exists in the Hawaiian Islands, the doctor I saw refused to give me even a small prescription for pain. I survived the airport by using a heating pad, when I could plug in, advil and DoTerra's Deep Blue rub. At times, I was gripped with spasms that forced me to stop/sit down until it passed. I had to leave for the airport 4 hours in advance because of the back pain to make sure I made my flight. The pain was horrendous. My 16 year old daughter (who weighs about 105 Lbs had to help me carry the animals. She's a dancer and has orthopedic problems now too. Hopefully, they will go a away in time, but I think my back will be an issue for a very long time to come. In short, we flew 3 roundtrip flights in 6 days, because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my disabled husband (who has a brain injury) alone in a new house for very long, as he is very dependent on me. So, to get off a plane, in agony, and find Bruce waiting for me in his grey van was like a miracle. I can't imagine what would have happened if I'd had to leave my teen late at night and the animals at the airport to go stand in the shuttle bus line, take a bus to the off site rental car place, stand again in line to rent a car, then drive back to my daughter to pick her and the animals up. I might have ended up at the E.R. with my back. But, by the Grace of God, I found Bruce, who gave me a reasonable price to transport us to our new home, was on time and a great communicator. When you are out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, communicating with a stranger who might be a scammer, you feel very afraid, but there's nothing else you can do. I needed help and Bruce provided it. He was an honest, hardworking human being who helped me at one of the worst times in my life. I don't know what I would have done without him. I made it here to San Diego, with my family. We are still in "recovery mode", but I wanted to take a few minutes and write this review to say thank you to Bruce and recommend him to anyone who needs animal transport in San Diego County. He was amazing. Thank you Bruce! You are the best!

I called and inquired on transporting my pets from San Diego to Jacksonville Florida without even much thought I think he said he name was Bruce well he said 5000 dollars within .1 seconds after I asked, it was more of go away cost instead of saying we’re pretty booked or do not provide that service, I utilized citizenshipper and found others that are 4000 dollars cheaper. This company was recommended by the military travel office so if youre military try somewhere more reliable, I also notified the travel office in Bangor and San Diego to remove it from their recommendations. It seems they’re more dedicated to doing local things instead of what they advertised of cross country transport.

San Diego Pet Driver (Bruce) was hands down the most attentive, caring, compassionate, hard-working, patient, and understanding pet caregiver I have ever had the pleasure of working with!! Even though I obtained his services during the worst time of my life (my dog was naturally passing away), he was there in a blink of an eye, delicate with transporting my baby boy, compassionate when I was hysterical after the vet tech confirmed my baby boy passed away on our way to the emergency hospital, and genuine/sincere by checking on me later that day! I 100% RECOMMEND SAN DIEGO PET DRIVER TO ANY PET OWNER OUT THERE!!!!!

Helped us in a time of need. Bruce not only answered my call late on a Sunday night almost early morning but still was very nice and arrived quickly to help lift our baby and transport her to an awesome pet hospital. Will definitely be using their services again if ever needed. Very highly recommended.

Where do we begin? We have a 5 year old French Bulldog named Queenie and since both Steven and I were both out of town when all this craziness occurred and honestly Bruce was one of the many heroes that week. If I can remember this was on a Tuesday in June. I had received a call from the Vet’s office saying that the daycare place brought her over because Queenie wasn’t feeling good. They had ran test but could not find anything. They also performed an X-ray in which they thought perhaps she could have an obstruction but to be sure she needed to be taken to the Animal Emergency Hospital for an Ultrasound. They drove her out of town to the Emergency Hospital for ultrasound in which they could not find anything. Finally the attending Physician at night called me at 4:30am and stated that she believed that she may have a herniated disc. She said that Queenie would need a Neurologist asap to perform an MRI and possibly surgery. I immediately began looking for flights to come back to the states. She called back at 10am and said she had reached out to a specialty hospital with a neurologist and they would take her. But again; this Hospital was 1 1/2 hours away. We told her we didn’t have anyone that could travel to where they were and transport Queenie, she said that she knew of a service and just like that, Bruce called. We spoke on the phone. He had received the information from the Emergency Hospital the main thing is that he provided a price and we agreed, within minutes the transaction was complete and he was on his way to grab my baby girl. At this point I couldn’t get a direct flight and I began to panic and started thinking about how scared she was. Out of the blue, I received a text with a picture of Queenie and Bruce. He stated he had her and they were enroute to the Specialty Hospital. Once he arrived he took another picture and said she is okay and they were waiting. I know that this seems weird, why would I take the time to write this whole story when I could just say he was good. It’s a lot more. The reassurance of the pictures the communication was so needed. Queenie ended up having surgery for herniated disc’s and is going through Physical Therapy and now at home. I have now received two follow up emails and a text from Bruce asking how is Queenie. It means so much to me and if this story isn’t enough to get you to see how great his service is and how much his small tokens of communications and follows up means then I’m not sure what will. Thank you Bruce when I felt helpless and unsure of what to do, you were there for our baby. May god bless you.

Dasha, my little Yorkie, although healthy, is fragile, weighing only 5 lbs. She has long hair, and is needy for affection.
