It took me a minute to come to do this review because it is so hard to accept the reality of my Fur baby Marley no longer being here with me. From the moment I contacted them to the moment I picked my fatty watty's ashes up, They exercised every part of the process with care. It was after hours when he passed and They arranged his pickup and made the process a little less stressful for me. The gentleman who came to pick up my baby was patient with me as I was not ready to let my baby go. You can tell that they use their hearts while doing their job and they're not just there for the job, if that makes sense. I appreciate them contacting me to discuss the process and the color for his paw prints. I appreciate their patience with me because this was extremely hard and I know that through my crying and tears it was probably causing stress to them. They were pleasant throughout the process, and even sent me a few follow-up texts after. Andrea specifically assisted me during this process a lot and I appreciate her for it. Thank you all for the care and compassion showed to me while I took care of my doggy's final moments. It truly helps others when we handle them with care 💙

After 16 years of love and companionship, we lost our two dogs, Chaz and Coco, a day apart. We were devastated but knew we wanted to honor them and their memory, thanking them for spending their lives with us. Andrea and the rest of the team were so compassionate and kind to us in our heaviest days of grief and loss. Because we went a day before either pup passed, we were able to tour the facility and see how clean and dignified it was. We also pre-selected the urns and mementos and asked so many questions, all of which were answered patiently. We transported them ourselves, and the Caring Pet team prepared them for a beautiful viewing in a private setting so we could say our final goodbyes. We were able to place flowers and toys with them.There were no sales tactics, no pressure - nothing but sweet people doing a great job. It was exactly what we wanted and helped us start processing the intense loss in a way that centered happy memories and love.Thank you, Caring Per Crematory.

I can not say enough good things about the service I received at the Caring Pet Crematory. My little old lady chose to transition on her own volition in the middle of the night. I carefully wrapped her in one of her favorite blankets, and in the morning went to the task of trying to figure out what to do.Craig (the owner) met me on a Sunday, and patiently helped me with all the choices of how to keep her remains. He arranged Remedy in a private viewing room and allowed me and my other dog all the time I needed to say goodbye.I am beyond grateful for all the love and care that myself and my little dog received and I hope more pet guardians have the option to have their beloved fur family members memorialized so beautifully.

VERY caring people and wonderful facility. I only wish I knew to ask to watch as my pet’s ashes were taken from the oven. I’m one of those people who wants to witness every step of the whole process. Wholeheartedly, I am writing this review with both sorrow and appreciation. I unexpectedly lost the most loving bunny I’ve ever had, Baby CinnaBun Love, and really found Caring Pet Crematory by grace. Truly, I am grateful that they live up to their name. Some places take advantage of the love that we have for our fur babies and can really charge excessive prices for the service. Not only are they reasonable, Caring Pet Crematory makes you feel like they understand the magnitude of your loss and they are patient with you during the process of deciding what to do. I was able to bring Baby to the crematorium a couple of hours after he passed, and decided to do a private cremation. They completed my request quickly. As much as my heart aches, I’m grateful that I found Caring Pet Crematory. Though I would use them again, I hope it’s a long way off. Thank you for your support, condolences, concern, and care. First off. I have to say losing a pet is always a life changing experience. And in the moment Trying to make the decision how to care for your pet after he's Or she is gone can be really hard. Bringing your love on here. Definitely Makes the the road smoother. They will give you final moments in a room alone to say goodbye. And they are more than considerate for your feelings. And when you drive away you know your loved one is in good hands. I've unfortunately had to bring four animals here over the last 5 years And every experience has been the same.

We brought our beloved cat Bridget here for a private, family witnessed cremation. We appreciated how patient and kind Andrea was on the phone to schedule the appointment. When we arrived, Olivia greeted us right away at the entrance and guided us through the whole process, taking time to explain each step and answer any questions we had. Olivia was attentive and considerate, and the process flowed smoothly; we never felt rushed, or like we were left waiting at any step. They arranged Bridget beautifully in the casket with the flowers we brought from our garden. The staff here cared for her carefully and professionally at every step, and we appreciated being able to watch and be involved in the entire process. The attention to detail and chain of custody protocols they followed were excellent. We highly recommend Caring Pet Crematory.

Our handsome Percy passed away at 6 years and 11 days old due to cancer. I called and Olivia was very kind and took Percy in that morning. Everything was done with care. We were happy to see how professionally they handle Percy. They even put Percy in a box like a “open casket”. We get to say goodbye to him and watch him go. Brian was there to put Percy in for us. I feel respected and it was a nice experience which gave us a little closure to the unexpected death. I highly recommend this place.

I definitely recommend Caring Pet Crematory! My son made the decision to euthanize his dog of 17 years, Rocky - we chose Dr. Caroline Compassionate Care for the in-home euthanasia, and Caring Pet Crematory took care of the rest. My son wanted to watch the cremation process, and I know being able to be a part of the process gave him the closure he needed. Rocky was euthanized on January 6th, and we were at Caring Pet Crematory the next day to say our final goodbyes. I wish I remembered their names, but the staff members were very caring and patient. They talked him/us through the entire process, and patiently answered questions. My son was even able to carry Rocky's "casket" from the viewing room to the room where the actual cremation process happens. Afterwards, we were able to watch Rocky's ashes collected and placed into his urn. The transparency of the entire process is so appreciated, and I'm so grateful for the teamwork of both Dr. Caroline Compassionate Care and Caring Pet Crematory. When/if you have to make the sad and tough decision to say goodbye to your family pet, you want to chose them to care for your fur baby - I'm so glad we did!

Our family had to make the hard decision to put our beloved 12 year old lab down at a time that was full of change already. Our pup was still so vibrant, but struggling to breathe and we knew we had to give him peace. This was one of the hardest decisions we had to make. We contacted Caring Pet Crematory to find out options for after and not only received a compassionate response, but options for groups providing in home euthanasia if were to so choose. We did end up using an in home service and Craig made sure to coordinate with the doctor to pick our pup up in a timely manner after passing. He then provided us with details on when his remains would be ready and went so far as to offering our son a priceless memento of our dog to carry with him forever. Caring Pet was very responsive, compassionate and overall the most helpful group we could have asked for. We know we will use them again when it comes time for our other pup. Thank you Craig.

The website has all the necessary info, which is appreciated since not all businesses list prices. It was a quick and easy process dropping off my doggo. He was returned in 4 days in a temporary plastic urn in a gift bag. There are extra things you can purchase there, such as fancy urns and paw prints. You can also spend time with your loved one for one final time. I appreciate how streamlined the process was during a difficult time.

I cannot express how much anxiety I had about not getting my beloved dog, Harley, back after cremation. The fear of uncertainty weighed heavily on me. I am so thankful I choose them for our 18 year old Shih Tzu Miley's final needs. It's very difficult to lose your beloved animal. They knew she was a member of our family and not just a pet. We just had the most difficult family loss, but we're grateful to have found / been given by God with this place. I had a very untimely passing of my princess Sophie. My husband and I did not have a lot of spare money for cremation, but thankfully this place has understanding and compassionate staff and great quality for the price. We were able to afford to get her cremated and a paw print to remember her by. They also will give you as much time as you need to say goodbye in a separate room. If you bring your pet in a blanket or bed, like I did, I was able to get the dog bed and blanket back. I made sure my princess went out like a queen. This was my first experience with losing a kid. It was really hard on me and I was worried that for the price that we weren't going to get the quality my princess deserved. Suffice to say, I am very satisfied with what I received. The inked paw print that we requested, came with a caring and understanding card signed by the staff. I will say that I have made a choice, that in the future should I need a cremation service again for one of my kids, this will be my first choice. I experienced very understanding, caring and compassionate people, in a time that I needed a little TLC. I am just astounded to have had such an understanding 1st time experience.

We went with Beloved Pet Mobile Vet to help our loved one pass on and they partner with Caring Pet Crematory. Based on the experience we had with Beloved, I had high expectations and hopes for Caring Pet Crematory too, and they exceeded my expectations. From the first phone call to our arrival for a witness cremation, they were kind and caring towards us. We got to say goodbye one more time to our lovely girl, a bonus we did not expect but appreciated more than words can allow. We were able to watch up till they started the cremation so we were confident she was given the respect and care we wanted for her. We were then able to wait onsite, and only a few hours later we had her ashes back in hand, ready for our final trip back home. They understood the importance for my family to not leave the side of our loved one, even in death, and they not only respected that, but helped ensure it was done in a timely manner. I can't recommend this place enough.

Compassionate. Professional. Very nice staff. Spent time with Chubby in waiting area next to crematorium room. I was able to see Lucky Chubby off from his coffin to incinerator. They have necklaces with paw insignia. They put some of Chubby’s ashes in. So Chubby is with me everywhere we go. Chubby is home in less than 24 hours! Took video of Chubby’s dignified cremation. I just want to start out and say that Anastasia was absolutely amazing through the entire process!!My buddy Blu passed and she dealt with my hysterical self as I went over the details of getting him cremated. The facility is immaculate and very accommodating. I never knew a place like this existed before, but I am glad they were my first experience with this type of business.

Sad occasion to write a review, but we were treated so well here I had to say something. First of all, their website has just about all the info you could be looking for. I was worried about what might happen if Evey (our sweet, late cat) left us in the middle of the night. Caring Pet's site has clear, sensitively-written instructions. They're also one of the only establishments in the Sac area that lists their prices. I had so many things on my mind when Evey passed, the last thing I wanted to have to ask about was cost. Their facility is clean and welcoming, and the individual who helped us, whose name I just can't remember, was helpful and kind. The inked paw prints we asked for turned out beautifully. We'll be putting one in an ornament for the tree this December, and we're so grateful to have something so nice to remember Evey by. Okay - that's enough, I have to go to work and I'm starting to get emotional again. Thank you to the staff at Caring Pet Crematory for their treatment of Evey and of us.

No one wants to visit a crematory. You have to. I had to visit two years ago. When I did, the place felt like a waiting room for a doctor.Caring pet is the only crematory in the area that I could find. So when life happens unexpectedly you'd think they'd.. answer their phone.This past weekend (May 10th), our dog was killed in the evening. Since they close At 5, we called the next day, Saturday morning. I left a voicemail ..on the emergency line. I never heard a call back. It's not like I can do anything else. They claim to be open Saturdays but I never got a call. It's now the 17th and I still haven't received a call. Do they really care? Doesn't feel like it.From my experience the first time and now the second time, I'd say go to Heaven's Gate in Wheat field. It's a bit of a drive but the people there are caring and actually open 7 days a week for those rare times when you need them.

When we lost a dog at the beginning of this year, the woman we met with was incredibly kind and compassionate, and our experience was very positive. So we were sure to go with the same company when we lost our elderly cat suddenly and unexpectedly this weekend. This time around was much different. When we arrived at our scheduled appointment time, a different staff member gestured at my cat and said “I’ll take it to the back for you and then we can meet in the conference room.” IT…? By “it,” you mean my sixteen-year-old cat who I’ve had since childhood? We were already put off by this comment when we were met in the conference room and the staff member spoke with us about the arrangements. She might as well have been selling us a vacuum cleaner, her disinterest was so clear. She made sure to mention that my cat will have a private cremation, “so she’ll be all alone in the chamber.” That was… less than comforting. I’m so disappointed because our last experience was so much better. The person who helped us this time unfortunately just does not have the right personality for this job.

I just want thank this company for making it so easy and comfortable for me to make all the arrangements for my son's precious dog Max he loved all so very much. The lovely lady I spoke with Olivia spoke with me on a Saturday afternoon emailed me a catalog called her back made all our arrangements over the phone didn't skip a beat an even had our precious dog Max picked up from uc davis on that Monday. Little over a week we had his ashes placed in a beautiful urn, ashes in a beautiful pendant necklace an a paw print made of clay. It was beyond what we expected for our pet. After losing my precious 19-year-old 4-legged family member, I wanted a private witness cremation so that I would be with her till the very end. I was shocked to find out that most pet cremation companies don't offer a witness cremation for pets. I was really devastated, and it was a huge relief when a kind soul referred me to Caring Pet Cremation! Andrea and Craig let me see my dear White Princess one last time. She was in a little coffin, which then was transported, in front of my eyes, into one of the cremation chambers, and Craig started the process. In a couple of hours, I picked up a nicely packed urn with a logo "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."I couldn't imagine a better funeral service even for myself, if they were offering it for humans! I recommend Caring Pet Cremation 1000%!

All of the folks at Caring Pet Crematory were exceptional. We had to make the tough decision to let our dog peacefully pass away. We found a vet to come to the home, but because of our dogs size (160+lbs) she was not able to transport her to be cremated. The vet recommended Caring Pet. They were wonderful and had two very kind gentleman pick up our dog and transport her. The gentlemen that came were caring and gentle. I would 100% recommend them.

We tragically lost our beautiful Blue & Gold Macaw after 29 amazing years with her. We drove 3+ hours for an emergency visit on 7/3 to UC Davis, and unfortunately, she was not able to be saved.I contacted Caring Pet Crematory on 7/6, made arrangements over the telephone for them to pick her up from UC Davis. I knew it could not happen, but it so happened I was already scheduled to be back in Sacramento on Friday, 7/8 and told them, if on the off chance she was ready, I could come get her, otherwise they were going to ship her to me as I live in another state.On 7/7 I received a call to let me know that they had gone to UC Davis to claim her. They also told me they were re-arranging the schedule a little bit so that they could do her final arrangements that evening so that I could indeed pick her up personally on Friday.I was so completely blown away, and so very grateful!! THIS is customer service times ten! I obviously have been completely devastated through-out this process, I lost my baby girl. But Caring Pet Crematory is exactly that … CARING! I'm so very grateful to have her home with us now where she belongs. Thank you! May I never need your services again, but I hope someone reading this who may, will learn of our beautiful experience with you.

I chose this place due to the good reviews but my experience wasn’t the best. It wasn’t horrible, and they were nice enough…. They just weren’t very sympathetic and the whole experience (phone and in person) was a little assembly line…. like I was just another customer to be dealt with. And I’m not an overly emotional or chatty person, and always a good customer. Even still, I may have given 4 stars, however, I asked and paid for all 4 paw prints and was very specific about it. It was the last chance to ever get them. I was pretty devastated that they stamped one front paw twice and stamped one back paw twice. I know this because she had a deformity in one of her back paws and a scar on one of the front paws. So I’m pretty sad about it.

We are so thankful for Lap of Love. Dr. Sue is an amazing Veterinarian. She is compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. When our sweet girl Boston's time came Dr. Sue's scheduler got us right in. It truly is a gift to have your pet pass in the comfort of their home (especially during a time when most people are restricted from entering their veterinary office). Dr. Sue completely explained each process and allowed my husband and I to focus on Boston. We were both a complete mess and she carefully worked around us as we said our goodbyes. I've heard horror stories about pet cremation services that lump your loved ones in with road kill and give you ashes that may or may not be your pet's, so it was important for me to find one where I could witness the process.The Caring Pet Crematory allowed that, and the people there who took care of my beloved little kitty Giblet were so incredibly kind and respectful. They treated the occasion with solemnity, and allowed me to witness every step, a ritual that helped give me closure.In addition, they were able to fit us in very quickly, within two hours of my call, which gave me enough time to say my good-byes to my sweet little girl, but not so much time that it was painful and drawn-out. (Please note that if you want to witness a cremation there, you need to get in before 1 p.m. - the process can take several hours, and they don't start a witnessed cremation too close to their closing hour.)I highly recommend this service. It is a very respectful way to honor your animal friends.

I had a very untimely passing of my princess Sophie. My husband and I did not have a lot of spare money for cremation, but thankfully this place has understanding and compassionate staff and great quality for the price. We were able to afford to get her cremated and a paw print to remember her by. They also will give you as much time as you need to say goodbye in a separate room. If you bring your pet in a blanket or bed, like I did, I was able to get the dog bed and blanket back. I made sure my princess went out like a queen. This was my first experience with losing a kid. It was really hard on me and I was worried that for the price that we weren't going to get the quality my princess deserved. Suffice to say, I am very satisfied with what I received. The inked paw print that we requested, came with a caring and understanding card signed by the staff. I will say that I have made a choice, that in the future should I need a cremation service again for one of my kids, this will be my first choice. I experienced very understanding, caring and compassionate people, in a time that I needed a little TLC. I am just astounded to have had such an understanding 1st time experience.

We went with Beloved Pet Mobile Vet to help our loved one pass on and they partner with Caring Pet Crematory. Based on the experience we had with Beloved, I had high expectations and hopes for Caring Pet Crematory too, and they exceeded my expectations. From the first phone call to our arrival for a witness cremation, they were kind and caring towards us. We got to say goodbye one more time to our lovely girl, a bonus we did not expect but appreciated more than words can allow. We were able to watch up till they started the cremation so we were confident she was given the respect and care we wanted for her. We were then able to wait onsite, and only a few hours later we had her ashes back in hand, ready for our final trip back home. They understood the importance for my family to not leave the side of our loved one, even in death, and they not only respected that, but helped ensure it was done in a timely manner. I can't recommend this place enough.

Compassionate. Professional. Very nice staff. Spent time with Chubby in waiting area next to crematorium room. I was able to see Lucky Chubby off from his coffin to incinerator. They have necklaces with paw insignia. They put some of Chubby’s ashes in. So Chubby is with me everywhere we go. Chubby is home in less than 24 hours! Took video of Chubby’s dignified cremation. Prices are online so no hidden fees and you know what to expect. I dropped my cat off on a Tuesday and was able to pick up his urn Friday of the same week.Place is quiet, and when you drop off your pet they give you the option of saying your last goodbyes in a private room. We had to unexpectedly put our beautiful GSD named Stark, to sleep on Sat. June 25th at UC Davis Pet Hospital. They provided us a list of crematoriums, but they all had mixed reviews. I searched and found Caring Pet and left them a message. Paul called me back over the weekend and explained their process. Stark was promptly picked up on Monday and his ashes were ready by Wednesday. We chose not to be present for his cremation, as it has been a very emotional process for our family. During a most difficult time, Alex, Craig and his Son reassured me that all of my requests would be taken care of and they were. I find this place to be the only one to accept my pet on weekends, but I paid an additional $75 to do this so it wasn't included in the price. The way the man wrote down my purchase of a particular urn was not readable according to the staff upon pick up of my beloved pet. I usually don't post negative reviews. But I found this to be extremely unprofessional. If the prices on the page didn't add up then a call should of been placed to me. 5 days and no call about why the amount I paid and the cost of the service there was a discrepancy. Upon pickup, I was told I get a "free" plastic urn when I paid for $150 urn. While the lady tried to apologize for this. Nothing can be said to correct this mistake in my opinion. I had to start picking out an urn they had available (the one I wanted apparently needed to be ordered) and either wait 2 days and then have to transfer my pet into said urn, bring my pet home and back, or leave pet longer. These seem like good options if you're not suffering from a loss. We wanted our pets ashes home with us. After triggering me with sadness (crying) because of having to go throuth this process once again, we picked out an urn in stock on the shelf in the office. My advice is, double check your order is correct when they call arranging pickup. My grief prevented me from being as thorough as I normally am. Im writing this review to hopefully prevent someone else from going this.Update: owner called me upon reading my review and apologized. A great person/owner recognizes mistakes and does their best to make changes within their business. Hoping no one experiences this in the future. For the record, he is refunding me for the urn and the weekend fee and offered a few other options. He acknowledges that this can't change what occurred, but as an extension of his apology and acknowledges the change in his business. I do accept his apology as he is very sincere and I'm hoping that no one experiences this. This doesn't take away from what happened, but his apology and sensitivity has definitely helped. Thankful a business cares enough to reach out.

Thank you to Carying Pets Creamatorium and to Chrissy for taking care of my Father and I during the last 6 devastating and sad months.I lost my beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sophie, 6-months ago, and my Father lost his Pug, Lucy, 3-weeks ago, and I just lost my other Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Abby, only 4-days ago.Chrissy treated my Father and I with respect and dignity… And she did the same with our little doggies.Thank you again😢😓😭😢😓😭Lisa

Although this place was a little off the beaten path and slightly higher priced than a few others I checked into, they went completely above and beyond my expectations of service. The director, Alex not only received my weimaraner Bludog on a Sunday (a day in which they are normally closed). He also performed her cremation the same day with such grace and professionalism. I was able to leave with Bludog without any extended delays. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for any beloved pet needing after life services.Thank you SO much Alex!

Alex is always professional, caring, kind, and gentle with my pets beforehand. I've used CPC several times and prefer to witness the cremations; all areas of this facility is clean, and well organized. Everything was handled promptly, with care, and with dignity to my pet(s).

After losing my precious 19-year-old 4-legged family member, I wanted a private witness cremation so that I would be with her till the very end. I was shocked to find out that most pet cremation companies don't offer a witness cremation for pets. I was really devastated, and it was a huge relief when a kind soul referred me to Caring Pet Cremation! Andrea and Craig let me see my dear White Princess one last time. She was in a little coffin, which then was transported, in front of my eyes, into one of the cremation chambers, and Craig started the process. In a couple of hours, I picked up a nicely packed urn with a logo "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."I couldn't imagine a better funeral service even for myself, if they were offering it for humans! I recommend Caring Pet Cremation 1000%!

All of the folks at Caring Pet Crematory were exceptional. We had to make the tough decision to let our dog peacefully pass away. We found a vet to come to the home, but because of our dogs size (160+lbs) she was not able to transport her to be cremated. The vet recommended Caring Pet. They were wonderful and had two very kind gentleman pick up our dog and transport her. The gentlemen that came were caring and gentle. I would 100% recommend them.

I was recomended to use them from one of my coworkers. In the past I have alwys just gone to my vet. This expericance by far was much more pleasant. the staff is great and allowing me to say goodby to my cat was very meaningful for me. It's been a few months since the crmation was completed and I have no regrets using Caring Pet Crematory.

After losing two dogs in one year and using their private cremation services for both we will always recommend them to anyone needing truly kind and caring cremation services. We tragically lost our beautiful Blue & Gold Macaw after 29 amazing years with her. We drove 3+ hours for an emergency visit on 7/3 to UC Davis, and unfortunately, she was not able to be saved.I contacted Caring Pet Crematory on 7/6, made arrangements over the telephone for them to pick her up from UC Davis. I knew it could not happen, but it so happened I was already scheduled to be back in Sacramento on Friday, 7/8 and told them, if on the off chance she was ready, I could come get her, otherwise they were going to ship her to me as I live in another state.On 7/7 I received a call to let me know that they had gone to UC Davis to claim her. They also told me they were re-arranging the schedule a little bit so that they could do her final arrangements that evening so that I could indeed pick her up personally on Friday.I was so completely blown away, and so very grateful!! THIS is customer service times ten! I obviously have been completely devastated through-out this process, I lost my baby girl. But Caring Pet Crematory is exactly that … CARING! I'm so very grateful to have her home with us now where she belongs. Thank you! May I never need your services again, but I hope someone reading this who may, will learn of our beautiful experience with you.

I chose this place due to the good reviews but my experience wasn’t the best. It wasn’t horrible, and they were nice enough…. They just weren’t very sympathetic and the whole experience (phone and in person) was a little assembly line…. like I was just another customer to be dealt with. And I’m not an overly emotional or chatty person, and always a good customer. Even still, I may have given 4 stars, however, I asked and paid for all 4 paw prints and was very specific about it. It was the last chance to ever get them. I was pretty devastated that they stamped one front paw twice and stamped one back paw twice. I know this because she had a deformity in one of her back paws and a scar on one of the front paws. So I’m pretty sad about it.

We are so thankful for Lap of Love. Dr. Sue is an amazing Veterinarian. She is compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. When our sweet girl Boston's time came Dr. Sue's scheduler got us right in. It truly is a gift to have your pet pass in the comfort of their home (especially during a time when most people are restricted from entering their veterinary office). Dr. Sue completely explained each process and allowed my husband and I to focus on Boston. We were both a complete mess and she carefully worked around us as we said our goodbyes. Thank you so much Lap of Love for allowing our best friend to pass in comfort and with dignity. It meant the world to us.

They were so nice and took EXCELLENT care of my baby Raider. They told me he would be ready in 2-5 days and I had him back in 2 days. They had his paw prints with his ashes in a cute lil paw print bag.. thank you so much for caring for my baby

I've heard horror stories about pet cremation services that lump your loved ones in with road kill and give you ashes that may or may not be your pet's, so it was important for me to find one where I could witness the process.The Caring Pet Crematory allowed that, and the people there who took care of my beloved little kitty Giblet were so incredibly kind and respectful. They treated the occasion with solemnity, and allowed me to witness every step, a ritual that helped give me closure.In addition, they were able to fit us in very quickly, within two hours of my call, which gave me enough time to say my good-byes to my sweet little girl, but not so much time that it was painful and drawn-out. (Please note that if you want to witness a cremation there, you need to get in before 1 p.m. - the process can take several hours, and they don't start a witnessed cremation too close to their closing hour.)I highly recommend this service. It is a very respectful way to honor your animal friends.

I called at 5:30am and the receptionist said she would take a message and someone will be in at 7am and will call me back. I said aren't you open 24 hours? She said that they take messages 24 hours. So they are false advertising. It isn't open 24 hours and they dont have staff that is available 24hours. They also never called me back.

Prices are online so no hidden fees and you know what to expect. I dropped my cat off on a Tuesday and was able to pick up his urn Friday of the same week.Place is quiet, and when you drop off your pet they give you the option of saying your last goodbyes in a private room. I hope not to come back anytime soon but if you're in the area I would recommend Caring Pet Crematory.

At a time when our family is devastated, Craig made the process so easy and effortless. He is very considerate and thoughtful, we were so comfortable with our boy in his hands. We had to unexpectedly put our beautiful GSD named Stark, to sleep on Sat. June 25th at UC Davis Pet Hospital. They provided us a list of crematoriums, but they all had mixed reviews. I searched and found Caring Pet and left them a message. Paul called me back over the weekend and explained their process. Stark was promptly picked up on Monday and his ashes were ready by Wednesday. We chose not to be present for his cremation, as it has been a very emotional process for our family. Thank you staff at Caring Pet for taking care of our boy.

Caring Pet Crematory was absolutely the best. I had several concrete requests and all were met with love and respect. During a most difficult time, Alex, Craig and his Son reassured me that all of my requests would be taken care of and they were. Having the phone answered 24 hrs. a day was wonderful and the answering service was prompt and courteous. In a time of sorrow, they made the arrangements effortless. Great company!!

I find this place to be the only one to accept my pet on weekends, but I paid an additional $75 to do this so it wasn't included in the price. The way the man wrote down my purchase of a particular urn was not readable according to the staff upon pick up of my beloved pet. I usually don't post negative reviews. But I found this to be extremely unprofessional. If the prices on the page didn't add up then a call should of been placed to me. 5 days and no call about why the amount I paid and the cost of the service there was a discrepancy. Upon pickup, I was told I get a "free" plastic urn when I paid for $150 urn. While the lady tried to apologize for this. Nothing can be said to correct this mistake in my opinion. I had to start picking out an urn they had available (the one I wanted apparently needed to be ordered) and either wait 2 days and then have to transfer my pet into said urn, bring my pet home and back, or leave pet longer. These seem like good options if you're not suffering from a loss. We wanted our pets ashes home with us. After triggering me with sadness (crying) because of having to go throuth this process once again, we picked out an urn in stock on the shelf in the office. My advice is, double check your order is correct when they call arranging pickup. My grief prevented me from being as thorough as I normally am. Im writing this review to hopefully prevent someone else from going this.Update: owner called me upon reading my review and apologized. A great person/owner recognizes mistakes and does their best to make changes within their business. Hoping no one experiences this in the future. For the record, he is refunding me for the urn and the weekend fee and offered a few other options. He acknowledges that this can't change what occurred, but as an extension of his apology and acknowledges the change in his business. I do accept his apology as he is very sincere and I'm hoping that no one experiences this. This doesn't take away from what happened, but his apology and sensitivity has definitely helped. Thankful a business cares enough to reach out.

As a first time pet owner who lost my 8 month old kitten rather suddenly to FIP, I was particularly distraught and confused in the aftermath.
