**Yelp Review: FURREVER Friends**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I am writing this review with a heavy heart, but I feel it’s absolutely necessary to share my experience with Heather and her incredible team at FURREVER Friends. My soul cat, Connie, recently passed away, and I can't thank them enough for their compassionate support during such a difficult time.When I learned that Connie had only a few weeks left to live, I was devastated. The thought of losing her was unbearable, and I felt overwhelmed trying to make arrangements for her passing. I knew Connie would prefer at-home euthanasia, but I wanted to ensure I received her ashes and that she would be treated with the utmost respect.That’s when I found Heather at FURREVER Friends. From our first interaction, she was responsive and incredibly sympathetic. The relief I felt when I learned I could bring Connie’s body directly to her was immense. It allowed me to say goodbye in privacy, which was so important to me.Heather's kindness and professionalism shone through as she guided me through every step of the process, reassuring me that Connie would be treated with dignity. When I arrived at FURREVER Friends, I was met with a warm and welcoming environment. Heather took the time to explain everything again, making sure I felt comfortable. I truly appreciated that there was no pressure to purchase extras; her prices were fair, reflecting the genuine care she and her staff provided.The way Connie was treated was nothing short of beautiful. Heather and her team made her look peaceful and lovely, surrounded by flowers during the viewing. Caitlin, whose name I hope I spelled correctly, showed immense compassion and created lovely paw and nose prints that I will cherish forever.The two young men who handled Connie's body were deeply respectful, which meant so much to me during this painful time. If my own funeral arrangements could reflect even half the respect that FURREVER Friends showed Connie, I would feel honored.If you want to ensure that your beloved pet is honored and cared for with the utmost respect, I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Heather and her team at FURREVER Friends. Last week we lost our sweet Pedro our 5lb chihuahua and we decided to take him to furrever for a private cremation. We waited a total of 3 days and it was such an easy process. They were empathetic they also made everything very personalized even complete with a wooden heart engraved with his name that we did not ask for but loved. We are very satisfied with the services. I highly recommend this establishment as a loving place to take your pet on their last car ride.

I absolutely adore the care and dedication this team holds and pours into memorializing pets. My snake of 11 years died and I just couldn’t bear the thought of not doing something. I googled snake cremation at 1:30am shortly after he passed, in tears, and Furrever Friends popped up. I immediately filled out an inquiry form and by the time I woke up there was a text reply, letting me know pricing and that I was welcome to bring him in.I brought him in two days later trying my best to hold myself together and Heather was the most comforting presence. She asked me questions about my snake while doing intake forms and kept my grief at bay for a little bit.When I picked him up I truly couldn’t be any happier with the work they did. Thank you a million times over for making me feel like any other pet parent grieving a lost family member.

We lost our 13 year old Maltese dog couple weeks ago and wanted to have her cremated. The staff members at Furrever Friends were so caring and empathetic the entire process. We received a text message advising our fur baby has ‘returned’ within a few days. We selected a photo album urn with custom inscription which looked amazing. Furrever Friends also wrote a nice card with our dog’s paw and nose print.I am forever grateful for the staff at Furrever Friends for helping us during a difficult time. Highly recommend this place!

I lost my beloved kitty after 17 wonderful years together. That’s longer than some marriages! I researched pet cremation service centers, and this one stood out with the best reviews that seemed most sincere. I called and Heather gave the best, most compassionate loving service…she understood I was upset and kindly guided me towards the best package and service for me. I wasn’t oversold or misled. The staff took my cat and respectfully let me say a final private goodbye. They returned her cremains a week later, in a beautiful gold and turquoise urn wrapped in lovely packaging. This is not a service you *want* to have to use, but when you need it, they are the best.

I have brought MANY of my beloved furry friends here(lizard, birds, and dogs) for aftercare services over the years. They work closely with euthanasia vets so I know my family is in good hands. I had my babies remains back home with me in 4 days! They promise 5-7 day turn around time so I AM very happy! They dealt with my uncontrollable tears and told me it was okay to be emotional. I don’t know what I would have done without Heather, Kate and the other staff that takes care of all my babies. I will continue to use Furrever Friends.

The kindness of Heather and the others at Furrever Friends will never be forgotten. After speaking to several other places, my son and I decided to drive the 2 hours to Long Beach because he would be able to stay with "Bonesy" until the very last minute. Their consideration of our grief and their attention to detail is so unusual these days. I do not have the words to express my emotions as I watched "Poppy" embrace my adult son as he sobbed with grief. They truly understand and care.

I wish I could give the team at furrever more then 5 stars. My car was impounded 1 hour later my puppy was in an accident, my relationship was going downhill . I felt like my world was closing down. I pulled myself together and gave Heather and the team a call and she was very understanding and patient . Made special accommodations to work with my schedule and NEVER made me feel I couldn't get back on my 2 feet. Who would have known I would have met true friends forever. FURREVER friends did an amazing job taking care of my deceased cat. When I called FURREVER friends, my deceased cat was being held at the harbor shelter and FF picked up his body in less than an hour from our phone call, which reassured me that I was going to have his ashes. Took my baby here and I was happy I did called many other places but everyone was rude. Talked to a nice lady on the phone and they let me put a deposit instead of paying full price the same day since my baby’s death was unexpected I didn’t have the funds Wasn’t really in the mood to talk kinda just zoned out , but one of the workers with cute green hair was nice and still asked me how I was doing:)Thank you <3

I want to say Heather at Furrever Friends Pet Cremation was so helpful and wonderful during a very difficult time. Our sweet Jefferson was nearing end of life and in my research I found Furrever Friends and what made the decision easy for me was 1. They are local in Long Beach 2. Their service costs were in line with the average competitor. 3. Heather. She is the real deal. Very kind. Very compassionate and accommodating. When the time came two months later I called and she remembered me from our discussion in December. I mentioned to her today is the day. She made herself available for me and arrived at Bixby Animal Clinic to pick up my sweet Jefferson. Heather sat with me that day. Never rushed me. She talked to me about the next steps and waited for me to release my sweet Jefferson. 6 days later Jefferson was ready to come home. I will always treasure how a very difficult day was made comforting knowing Jefferson was being taken care of by Heather and Furrever Friends Pet Cremation. Thank you Heather.

Heather and her dad were so kind to me and my mom after the loss of our fur baby. They made the process so easy for us during a painful time. I was even able to say my last goodbye to my baby. Heather picked up Rocky on a Friday and he was ready for pick up on a Tuesday. I can't put in words what a excellent job they did . I feel like I can breathe now. I love the cute card with his paw prints and nose print inside , what a great surprise and thought I was going to get some depressing funeral box for Rocky but he was put in a beautiful box with a ribbon. If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Obviously no one ever wants to be in a position to have to use pet cremation services, but if you lose your fur friend there is no better place to help you say goodbye to them and honor who they were and what they brought to your life. Our bunny passed away suddenly and we had no idea where to turn; we hadn’t thought we’d need to think about this for years to come. Furrever Friends was so patient with us, answering all our questions and being incredibly compassionate.We brought our baby in on Monday and they called to let us know we could take him home on Thursday. They gave us truly beautiful paw and nose prints, something I didn’t really think was possible with a rabbit, and a little jar of his fur clippings. They let us take him the blanket we’d wrapped him in so our cat, his best friend, could adjust to not having him there—she sleeps with it every night.They were also incredibly reasonably priced. Our rabbit passed on a weekend so we called a couple 24 hour places first. Not only were they transactional and cold, the prices were far more than we could afford. I’m so grateful to the team at Furrever Friends, and when (god forbid) were in the situation of saying goodbye to another fur friend we will definitely trust them again.

My pet bunny died unexpectedly and I was looking for a place to take him to the same day. My husband found Furrever Friends and I contacted them about cremating my little one. It was about 4pm when I spoke to them and let them know that I was coming from OC and would take my about 30 mins to get to them (they closed at 5pm). When I arrived I was friendly greeted by a worker there. I wish I got her name but she was so kind to me and has awesome piercings. I apologized to her because I knew they were closing soon but she told me not to worry that she was informed I was coming from a bit of ways. I didn’t want to maker her stay longer than she had to but she kept reassuring me to take my time and made sure I got some final moments with my bunny. Later that week the ashes were ready for pick up ander that it was a bunny that I had cremated and I was asking about the prices of the boxes/urns. Once my husband and I decided on a box Lindsey came out with the box and told us she wasn’t going to charge us. I kept insisting to let me pay but she wouldn’t take my money and I just started crying because of her kindness and generosity. She’s also a bun mom and knew what I was going through as she also lost a bunny a few months prior. There’s not enough thank yous and appreciation that I could show to Furrever Friends. Thank you so much Furrever Friends for helping me through this process and making a difficult moment as smoothly as possible. I’m forever grateful to you.

I was originally going to give this place 5 stars, but I had called prior to picking up that was running late and but that I would be there by 5pm. Katelyn, answered and said that unfortunately she couldn't wait for me because there were already other ppl coming by 5pm and that it would mean for her to stay way after 5pm to just come back some other day. Other then that I was pretty nice place to come get your pets cremated

Heather and the staff at Furrever Friends are incredibly kind and thoughtful during the hardest moments for every pet owner. When our family lost our dog Rico (who had been part of our lives for almost 20 years), Heather kept her office open longer that evening so that we had all the time we needed to say goodbye.She also allowed us to come in on a weekend to pick up Rico's ashes due to our family schedule.And Adriana even hand delivered us Rico's blanket to our home.Their caring nature helped us find strength during that sad time. Within the last 6 months, I have had the misfortune of losing my 3 boys and one of my girls. I used 3 previous aftercare services for the first 2 dogs and the one chicken and I wasn’t fully satisfied. I’m not going to lie, Sol was my favorite child and I wanted something different, special for him and I am very pleased that Furrever Friends took care of my baby. I was searching for cremation services because I work for a vet clinic provider in Southern California and came across this up coming company called Furrever Friends. I called and made an appointment. When I arrived to the facility I immediately felt at ease from the start. I met with Heather and the crew given a tour and was explained the entire cremation process wonderfully ! The facility is brand new, so everything was very clean, and organized! I had a great first impression, and a great experience. The technicians performed perfectly. It’s was also nice to see a brand new machine , it was really comforting clean and modern . When I received the cremains, they looked very beautiful and the cremation process itself made things feel more personal !, I feel proud to provide these services for my fur patients clients! If there was a way to give more than 5 stars trust me I would. My beloved Iggy passed away last Tuesday and on Wednesday I called various cremation places for their services. The moment I spoke to Heather I felt I had found the place. Iggy was my queen and I wanted the best care for her as we put her to rest. When I went to their office, I was greeted by Heather who was very welcoming and warm. She explained the process and was very attentive and caring when I couldn’t hold back my tears as I spoke of my tiny angel. She wasn’t pushy on making me choose the urn my baby was going to rest in. I felt that I was leaving my beloved Iggy in good hands. For the urn I chose a heart and asked if they could engrave her name and a crown; Heather said of course and that the one who’d do the engraving would do an amazing job. She told me that I’d have my baby back within a week and was true to her word. I picked up my baby today and bawled my eyes out as I held the Raku heart in my hands. The whole team did an excellent job in making me and my family feel that our beloved baby was being taken care of. Thank you everyone, your job is truly amazing and I cannot thank you enough for the love you put behind my baby’s resting place.

Lindsay was the best. She was the one who helped me when I took my baby boy, Happy there. She went above and beyond for me. She was sincere and had empathy and compassion for me. If she was the same person there when I went to pick up my Angel Happy, I would have given 5 stars for her. The person who was there when I picked up Happy was the opposite of Lindsay. It was awkward, and she was superficial. I get that it's a business, and that money is the point, but it was just so obvious with the other person that that was all that is important. I also didn't like that the urn isn't included in the price. Everyone else includes the urn. I also didn't like that I wanted to be there for Happy's cremation, but it would have cost an extra $500 or something, I don't remember the exact amount. It's irrelevant. Other places let you be there without an additional cost. I wish I had gone with Only Cremations for Pets. They delivered my Chloe to me back in 2021, and her presentation was beautiful and included an urn. They allow you to view the cremation as well, without paying an arm a d a leg. Her urn came with a name tag for it with keys, and a beautiful card with Forget Me Not flower seeds and a clay pawprint in a small cream orgaza bag, all in a pretty cream colored organza bag tied with a gold ribbon with a paper purple heart with Chloé's name. I just want to say again that Lindsay was wonderful, even on the phone. That is why I chose Furrever Friends, because she was so kind to me. But if I had it to do over, I would have gone to Only Cremations for Pets, but not because she did anything wrong. Because of the added price of the urn, the added price for being there for the cremation, and because of the other person there. Thank you, Lindsay, your compassion meant so much to me.

Best customer service, hands down. Compassionate and responsive, they really do care. So many other places don't even answer their phone ("Leave a message, we'll get back to you"). When you've just lost a pet, you don't want to be waiting hours for a callback. Call Furrever Friends instead.

Francini and her husband are unbelievably understanding and caring. They me us in the middle of the night to make sure we got our gone to kitty heaven Eclipse on ice so we could cremate in a couple days. She has also helped us before with a dog. They are always the most sensitive and understanding people, they help so much with their words and actions. Francini has a way of bringing a smile to your face even during grief. I find it incredible that they would have bad reviews and view them with extreme skepticism.

HEATHER was a Godsend. She was everything and more. I was deeply traumatized with the sudden death of my best friend COOPER JOE and needed guidance with the cremation process in CA. The kindness of Heather and the others at Furrever Friends will never be forgotten. After speaking to several other places, my son and I decided to drive the 2 hours to Long Beach because he would be able to stay with "Bonesy" until the very last minute. Their consideration of our grief and their attention to detail is so unusual these days. I wish I could give the team at furrever more then 5 stars. My car was impounded 1 hour later my puppy was in an accident, my relationship was going downhill . I felt like my world was closing down. I pulled myself together and gave Heather and the team a call and she was very understanding and patient . Made special accommodations to work with my schedule and NEVER made me feel I couldn't get back on my 2 feet. Who would have known I would have met true friends forever. FURREVER friends did an amazing job taking care of my deceased cat. When I called FURREVER friends, my deceased cat was being held at the harbor shelter and FF picked up his body in less than an hour from our phone call, which reassured me that I was going to have his ashes. Took my baby here and I was happy I did called many other places but everyone was rude. I want to say Heather at Furrever Friends Pet Cremation was so helpful and wonderful during a very difficult time. Our sweet Jefferson was nearing end of life and in my research I found Furrever Friends and what made the decision easy for me was 1. They are local in Long Beach 2. Their service costs were in line with the average competitor. 3. Heather. She is the real deal. Very kind. Very compassionate and accommodating. When the time came two months later I called and she remembered me from our discussion in December. I mentioned to her today is the day. She made herself available for me and arrived at Bixby Animal Clinic to pick up my sweet Jefferson. Heather sat with me that day. Never rushed me. She talked to me about the next steps and waited for me to release my sweet Jefferson. 6 days later Jefferson was ready to come home. I will always treasure how a very difficult day was made comforting knowing Jefferson was being taken care of by Heather and Furrever Friends Pet Cremation. Thank you Heather.

Heather picked up Rocky on a Friday and he was ready for pick up on a Tuesday. I can't put in words what a excellent job they did . I feel like I can breathe now. I love the cute card with his paw prints and nose print inside , what a great surprise and thought I was going to get some depressing funeral box for Rocky but he was put in a beautiful box with a ribbon. If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Obviously no one ever wants to be in a position to have to use pet cremation services, but if you lose your fur friend there is no better place to help you say goodbye to them and honor who they were and what they brought to your life. Our bunny passed away suddenly and we had no idea where to turn; we hadn’t thought we’d need to think about this for years to come. Furrever Friends was so patient with us, answering all our questions and being incredibly compassionate.We brought our baby in on Monday and they called to let us know we could take him home on Thursday. They gave us truly beautiful paw and nose prints, something I didn’t really think was possible with a rabbit, and a little jar of his fur clippings. They let us take him the blanket we’d wrapped him in so our cat, his best friend, could adjust to not having him there—she sleeps with it every night.They were also incredibly reasonably priced. Our rabbit passed on a weekend so we called a couple 24 hour places first. Not only were they transactional and cold, the prices were far more than we could afford. I’m so grateful to the team at Furrever Friends, and when (god forbid) were in the situation of saying goodbye to another fur friend we will definitely trust them again.

My pet bunny died unexpectedly and I was looking for a place to take him to the same day. My husband found Furrever Friends and I contacted them about cremating my little one. It was about 4pm when I spoke to them and let them know that I was coming from OC and would take my about 30 mins to get to them (they closed at 5pm). When I arrived I was friendly greeted by a worker there. I wish I got her name but she was so kind to me and has awesome piercings. I apologized to her because I knew they were closing soon but she told me not to worry that she was informed I was coming from a bit of ways. I didn’t want to maker her stay longer than she had to but she kept reassuring me to take my time and made sure I got some final moments with my bunny. Later that week the ashes were ready for pick up ander that it was a bunny that I had cremated and I was asking about the prices of the boxes/urns. Once my husband and I decided on a box Lindsey came out with the box and told us she wasn’t going to charge us. I kept insisting to let me pay but she wouldn’t take my money and I just started crying because of her kindness and generosity. She’s also a bun mom and knew what I was going through as she also lost a bunny a few months prior. There’s not enough thank yous and appreciation that I could show to Furrever Friends. Thank you so much Furrever Friends for helping me through this process and making a difficult moment as smoothly as possible. I’m forever grateful to you.

I was originally going to give this place 5 stars, but I had called prior to picking up that was running late and but that I would be there by 5pm. Katelyn, answered and said that unfortunately she couldn't wait for me because there were already other ppl coming by 5pm and that it would mean for her to stay way after 5pm to just come back some other day. Heather and the staff at Furrever Friends are incredibly kind and thoughtful during the hardest moments for every pet owner. When our family lost our dog Rico (who had been part of our lives for almost 20 years), Heather kept her office open longer that evening so that we had all the time we needed to say goodbye.She also allowed us to come in on a weekend to pick up Rico's ashes due to our family schedule.And Adriana even hand delivered us Rico's blanket to our home.Their caring nature helped us find strength during that sad time. Within the last 6 months, I have had the misfortune of losing my 3 boys and one of my girls. I used 3 previous aftercare services for the first 2 dogs and the one chicken and I wasn’t fully satisfied. I was searching for cremation services because I work for a vet clinic provider in Southern California and came across this up coming company called Furrever Friends. I called and made an appointment. When I arrived to the facility I immediately felt at ease from the start. I met with Heather and the crew given a tour and was explained the entire cremation process wonderfully ! The facility is brand new, so everything was very clean, and organized! I had a great first impression, and a great experience. The technicians performed perfectly. It’s was also nice to see a brand new machine , it was really comforting clean and modern . When I received the cremains, they looked very beautiful and the cremation process itself made things feel more personal !, I feel proud to provide these services for my fur patients clients! I am so grateful for the Furrever Friends team and the beautiful work they do!
