My family has been using Sea Breeze Pet Cemetery since the 80s. Unfortunately, the family sold it to West Coast Pet Memorial Services. A few years ago, I paid $161 for a small cat to be cremated. I called this week and got a quote (for a 4-pound cat) of $293 PLUS $150 to pick her body up because they're located in East L.A. I'm in Orange County and Sea Breeze is in Orange County. Why would I pay more to have my pet shipped who-knows-where to be cremated? Well, you just lost my business.Plus, the grounds at Sea Breeze have REALLY gone downhill. The grass is brown and unkempt. The office itself is never open anymore. I tried to inquire about purchasing a headstone for our pets that have already been buried there and got no response. I guess "I snooze, I lose..."I'm definitely going elsewhere for my pet cremations.

Formerly Sea Breeze Pet Cemetery although still the same great people who work here that have compassion and kindness. We have a couple of family pets resting here. I love the calm and serene space this cemetery is in nestled in the city. They have an amazing selection of urns here as well. Originally when I buried my cat here the section in the back several rows was the “cats only” area. I choose that area for my cat to lay to rest for obvious reasons that he was fearful of dogs. Recently I have come to see under new management they are allowing small dogs in the “cats only” area of the cemetery. I understand the cemetery is getting full and that is why but my heart sank and it was truly very disappointing to see that happen.

Our family dog, Mary, passed away in 2002 and she rests here. Our vet at the time recommended us to bring Mary here because this is the only pet cemetery in Southern California and Mary loved a nice breezy day outside. We miss her and visit her often at Sea Breeze with our second dog. The staff are always very kind and accommodating, helping us assemble flowers and a holiday flag for Mary. Today, we visited Mary and we were happy to see that the grounds were well-maintained and clean. However, there were visible signs of wear and tear, especially at the front gate with a washed away sign. We found out that Sea Breeze is no longer performing cremations because the owners are looking to sell this property and find new management. We are heartbroken and horrified to hear about this news. The thought of coming to visit Mary one day and finding a new hotel or new building that replaced her remains is just devastating. It was revealed to us that the hospital next door, Hoag, has been eyeing this land for years, bullying the owners, restricting their right to perform cremations, and doing anything in their power to expand their corporate mission. We were never notified by the current owners, because they still keep paper records on a small index card. Please update your index cards and create an electronic record! I’m sure if the Sea Breeze community found out, there would be an unresolved uproar and a multi-billion dollar lawsuit. Unfortunately, Sea Breeze has paused cremations for now but for current pet owners who want to visit their loved ones, the staff is present. We know people love their animals and our pets are our family. I hope Sea Breeze can find a way to move forward and perform cremations again. My understanding is there are 18 members of the family who have ownership of the land. This will require the current owners to step up and do the right thing by taking the time to invest in our pet community.

It is tough to lose a beloved pet companion. I am thankful for the care, attention and compassion by the staff, they lightened the load of this heavy heart. They handled everything and kept me up to date on the progress every step of the way. My baby boy is now back home in his specialty urn and to my surprise, they made a final imprint of his lil paw. They have certainly honored my boy and I rest easier knowing he was properly cared for as he transitioned from this earth. Thank you so much

My Charlie is buried here. When the time came, everyone was very sympathetic and kind and helpful. We had some time for a little service before his internment. It's a Beautiful cemetery and is Very Peaceful!

I paid $250 to my vet when one of my cats passed away a several years ago. I thought it was just ridiculously expensive, so I searched a place for pet cremations; I'm so glad that I found this place because I spent only $80 when my another cat died in 2016. Now my third cat is dying and I'll certainly take him to Sea Breeze Pet Cemetery again. The best part of it is that I could grieve as long as I wanted, put my cat in a box of my choice and carried her to the place when I was ready. The staff was kind and nice and the process of signing up papers was quick. They kindly explain the options, never try to push you to buy anything. They ask what you want and respect your choice. I just chose the most inexpensive box and cremation; it was actually a nice wooden box. They contact you when the ash is ready and even give you a little paw print of your pet on a plaster, which was a wonderful surprise for me. 06/11/2019' Since this review, my 3rd cat died and I cremated him here again. The price was like $120 since 3 years have passed from the last time I used their service. They're still wonderful and kept my cat's ash for 5 months and let me grieve as long as I needed. When I was ready to grieve, I picked up his ash recently. I bought a wooden box of my choice on Amazon this time. They still give you the nice paw print. I'm so glad that I have a place like this for my furry baby when they pass away.

We just had to say goodbye to our beloved best friend and family member for the last 7 years. He was unfortunately taken from us in a freak accident. We had no idea where to go and how to make this right. When we came here everything felt like it was the best place to have this taken care of. The staff are top notch and truly empathized with us throughout the entire process. Our little angel was well taken care of laid to rest by the only people I would ever trust to make this a truly repectable experience for our precious little guy. He was always an angel gifted to us from God, and now he's been given back his wings to greet us when the time comes to be with him again. Thank you to everyone at Sea Breeze West Coast Pet Memorial, I would give you 1000 stars if I could and it still wouldn't be enough.

My wonderful pet of 18 years was recently murdered in my own back yard by a coyote. This was a very tramatizing event. I called the people at Sea Breeze to pick up my animals remains. I could barely speak, they were very compassionate and had someone at my house in less than 2 hours. My son dealt with the driver as I was unable to do so. The driver was professional and courteous. I would have paid any price to help me deal with this. They did not charge me any extra for this fast service, I also had them cremate the remains and return them to me. I am extremely happy with their service and prices. At an unfortunate time like this it is important to me to know that there is someone I can call that will treat my pet as if he were another family member. Because he was! Dignity, respect and professionalism. Thank you Sea Breeze you were there for me in my time of need.

I have my kitty buried here. The people who work here are very kind and compassionate. I have not been in the office since supposedly the place was bought by new owners. Has me a little worried and concerned about this cemetery being around for the long haul and not being removed one day to build some tall buildings or shopping center on top of it. Other then that the grounds are nice and the guys that maintain the grounds are the sweetest guys. Everyone here is great and I love this location for my kitty’s final resting place.

I was treated very kind by the staff as I had just watched my TT GURL pass in my arms. I had her for twelve wonderful years. I miss you,my furry cat friend. I would highly recommend West Coast Pet Cemetery. I was having a very hard time. Affordable and very, very caring. Thank you so very much. And thank you to the young lady for staying a bit later to help me. May you be well blessed.

I highly recommend Sea Breeze for crematory and burial services. Over 10 years, we took our cat here for cremation. Sadly, 2 weeks ago, we had to take our dog after he passed at home. It was such an emotional ordeal and the people at Sea Breze did an amazing job with making the process as courteous and empathetic to all of our needs, including after hour availability. A pet's death is always hard and I really appreciated the room we were able to mourn in as we said our final goodbyes, as well as the beautiful basket we layed our dog in prior to cremation. We were given a lovely paw mold that will forever be cherished. We'll never forget and will always appreciate how caring this employees were during such a harrowing time.

Over the years we have had 6 cats cremated at West Coast Pet Memorial - Sea Breeze Pet Cemetery. Each time I would rate them much higher than 5 star. Do not go to any other place. Your pet deserves the best. And this is the place

They were very nice throughout the entire process. This really made a difference as my father passed away in the morning and my fur baby passed away the same night. The urn is beautiful and the paw print is an amazing touch. Thank you for making this much easier for me.

There's good reason Sea Breeze Pet Cemetery has been around for decades: they're the absolute best. Pricing, service, compassion, convenience, can't be beat. Their caring, patience and helpfulness provide such peace and comfort at that most difficult time. It helps soften the blow and aids immeasurably in the grieving process.

Help, Sea Breeze Pet Cemetery in Huntington Beach CA has been closed in February 2023 and sold to a developer. I can't bury my pets in plots I own. Person answering phone says they will call police and have person's attempting to bury pets in their plots aressted. City will not reveal the name of who purchased the pet cemetery and what will happen to all the pets buried there. All person's who purchased lots will be deprived of lots where their pets are buried. Would this be a class action lawsuit?

Sea Breeze Pet Cemetery helped with the little time I had to get everything done accordingly. I can honestly say coming here gave a sense of happiness with all the greiving I've been through. I appreciate how convenient they were and understanding with a short amount of time. I will be forever grateful for this. Now my 20 year old dog can finally be at peace that she deserves.

This place is under new management. Took a pet here, will never do so again. The clay paw print was done very messily, like a kid dug the name with an x-acto knife. Was it bring your child to work day? We thought we were going to get something like the previous photos, but nope! We called and they told us to bring it back in, when we did they took a look and said they couldn't do anything (why even tell us to bring it in then?). Your pets deserve better, take them to a place that cares.
