Not sure why they ask what keepsakes you’d like when they won’t give those ones to you anyways. We definitely stated that we wanted a clay paw print and an ink nose print. Instead we received the paw print version of Clay and ink. Like what? Why would we need 2 versions of the same thing?? It’s our pet and we should get the exact keepsakes we ask for, not whatever you feel like giving us. Extremely disappointed that this is all we have left of our boy and it’s not even what we wanted.

Mike,Thank you so much for coming to our house with Dr. Benson to help in our Katie's passing. You took her away with the dignity she deserved, considering that she was a big girl.When we came to pick up her ashes (WE wanted to bring her home because WE brought her home as a puppy.) your facility was clean and quiet, with beautiful artwork. The staff was respectful and handled her remains with care.It is a hard job you do but you do it very well.Al and I thank you so very much!!

My dog passed away, and the veterinarian recommended West Coast pet Memorial. When the urn was returned to me, it was twice as big and heavy, as any of my previous dogs of the same species and her paw print look nothing like hers. Very disappointed.

Mike arrived at the time he estimated. He was very empathic after the unexpected death of our beautiful German Shepherd, Brixen, only 7 years old. He and his wife brought the cremains 3 days later in the beautiful cedar photo box with our requested engraving and our pup's paw print. They are very compassionate and sweet and take great care ensuring you know your pet was treated with respect and kindness. I highly recommend their service during such a difficult and emotional time. You can tell they have a great love for pets and the relationship of a pet and family. ❤️

We lost our beloved unexpectedly a few days ago and used Guardian Angels services. We were thoroughly impressed with everything from them. Due to our current situation, they understood and had our big baby boy cremated and placed in a very impressive cedar box and returned to us in just a couple days. Looking at his paw imprint they did and reading about the rainbow bridge had me tearing up. We greatly appreciate the team at Guardian Angels!

It's been a little over three months since my dog Rosie was euthanized because her mammary cancer had spread to the rest of her body. Probably the worst day of my life. Even to this day it still bothers me. I know what your thinking, it's just a dog. Yes and no. It's a dog in that yeah she barks and sleeps and eats food and enjoys her life. She was just as alive as you and me and her life was just as precious. Anyone that sees their dog or cat or whatever and sees a close friend that listens to you, plays with you and comforts you when your having a bad day knows that these animals are more than just objects. They are innocent beings that deserve more. They don't know why they are sick or dying and only want to be as happy as can be.The guardian angels pet crematorium took delivery of our beloved family member from our vet and after two weeks we received her back in a cedar box. It took me a few days to take the time to inspect the craftsmanship of their work and to my relief everything was in it's place, as it should be. I just want to say this last remark. Thank you for taking proper care of our family member and I don't say this often but God bless you and yours.Keep up the good work.

They are so considerate and professional. I felt my sweet kitty was well cared for there. The urn selection has anything you would want, and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for your pet’s final needs.

When our dog passed away, our vet used Guardian Angel. We received the ashes back a couple of weeks later and upon looking at the condition of the ashes, we were shocked and appalled.The previous 4 pets we had cremated at other companies were all handled with what we felt is great care and respect - that is definitely NOT the case here. Upon opening the cedar box the bag inside wasn't sealed, but rather the top bunched together and closed with no more than a grocery store twist tie. All other pets were returned to use very neatly sealed. In our home, our dogs are members of our family, and I expect them to be treated with greater respect than a half eaten loaf of bread.It gets worse - when taking the bag out, ashes were on the outside of the bag and in the bottom of the box. It's quite distressing to pull a bag with your dogs ashes out and have them literally sprinkle down on your clothes and get on your hands.I did call Guardian Angel when this happened. The owner named Mike, answered, and I talked to him about the condition and lack of care in how things were handled. In all fairness to Mike, I was quite distressed and was expressing my feelings in an exuberant fashion. That however does not excuse his reaction - he simply hung up on me. Again to be fair, after hanging up on me, he did send me a text offering to have the ashes placed in a sealed bag. When you have a service that obviously puts you in contact with people who are distressed, you need to be able to handle that with the requisite level of understanding.Guardian Angel is extremely unprofessional, unskilled and deplorable, both in the quality of services they provide, and their communications skills.Feel free to find my Yelp review for more details, Mike's callous responses, and photos of how poorly our beloved pet was mishandled.

From the first informative phone call to the Escondido office, to picking up Graham's remains, both Graham and I were treated with dignity, kindness, compassion, and love. Alma, Jaimie, Ashley, and Ricardo all make the best team to accomplish this.I am so appreciative of the kindness, and the beautiful keepsake box, all wrapped in velvet, along with very loving and helpful grieving information.💯 A+++... I couldn't have asked for more for Graham or myself.Many thanks always💞

I thought hard about writing this review before deciding that it was important to write. If nothing else, I hope that the company will be much more careful in the future with other people's pets.I paid $285 to have my pet privately cremated and returned to me. Along with that was requested a paw print, and for an additional $25 paid, we requested 6 locks of fur from her neck where we used to pet her and her fur was the softest and most beautiful red.Instead... I got a small foot print that looks like a cat paw, a single small mess of fur from the tip of her tail (not enough to even see that it was hers) and a box with ashes and a small metal label on the top that keeps falling off because it was applied poorly and cheaply.I just wanted to have something from her that I could remember her by, and now I honestly don't even know if the ashes in my box were even hers. There's no way to ever know...I was so very disappointed in this company and had very much hoped that they would have taken better care to preserve our memories. I can never have the locks of fur we requested again, my dog is now ashes. If I had nothing else from her... that, would have been the best thing to have. It is inexcusable that they didn't read the requests paper that they had me fill out. After the mistake was noted, We were offered beads with her ashes and I appreciate the attempt to offer something else, but this isn't really something we wanted. We already have her ashes.Please, if you could just be more careful with other's pet remains in the future, then this review will be worth it. You have a small window of opportunity to Preserve EVERYTHING. I beg you don't mess it up! ♡

We sadly lost our English Bulldog Mason last week after joining our family 10 years ago. Our grief is overwhelming and his loss is felt everyday. This cremation process was dealt with so much compassion and our Mason was returned home so beautifully, as we wished. Thank you to Guardian Angels for the paw 🐾 print and beautiful card and beautiful cedar box, and taking such care & compassion of our Mason .

Guardian Angel Pet Cremation used to be my go-to place due to how kind and considerate everyone was. Sadly, they were bought by West Coast Pet Memorial. I didnt think it would be such a bad change...I was wrong.They charge more, the craftsmanship of the urn was sloppy and the urn itself was banged up and scratched. The quote that I asked for was slapped on with flimsy glue so it kept falling off. On top of that, they no longer do the ash beads, which was the main reason i was willing to drive almost an hour each way.But the worst, which is why I am writing this review, happened just a couple of days ago when I picked up my pet Blue. He was a dear friend of mine, a beautiful 5 year old silver-mane Berkshire fancy rat. Up until this point, i have had no issues with anyone at Guardian Angels when it came to me having a more...exotic pet. But this time, when the guy gave him back to me, he asked if it was another rat in there. I answered yes, and his response was shocking and repulsive for anyone who works in a pet cremation business. He chuckled and said "its good you're getting rid of the rats." I WAS HOLDING THE ASHES OF MY DEAD BABY!!! I wish I had the mind to get his name--i was so shocked by the statement.I have had wonderful experiences with Guardian Angels, and some of the workers that are still there are wonderful. But the guy's disregard and disrespect for me, my pet, and my grief was the final straw. We will not be coming back to West Coast Pet Memorial and I implore others to do look elsewhere.

This place was absolutely awesome! When my child/dog passed we decided to get her cremated so I could spread her ashes in the ocean. The gal that worked was completely understanding and aware of the attention she gave us and my passed dog. I'm so sorry that I'm blanking on her name, but if you're reading this, thank you so much for everything! I know Mocha is in a better place and I'm glad this service was available for dog lovers!

We were very happy and got more than we expected. Our cat was brought back to us in a nice wooden box with his name on it with a cast of his paw. I would recommend them to any pet owner. They also delivered his ashes to use very ccompassioned and great customer service.

Lost my 15 year old on veterans day at midnight. Heart broken on Sunday morning they came to Temecula 1 hour after I called. They treated our baby with dignity and Mike was very sympathetic to our situation. I did not know what to do or who to call. These guys truly our gaurdian angels from heaven. I would have posted earlier but in to much grief. They bought our baby back on Tuesday morning to us. At times like this I feel helpless and I'm so thankful for their help. I will never ever forget this event and these folks as long as I live. Thank you Mike from gaurdian angels for your compassion and love, I can't thank you enough.

I can’t Thank Guardian Angels enough. January 31st, we had to take our Cat Endee to be euthanized because the cancer had riddled thru her body and we didn’t want her to suffer. The et at VCA in El Cajon asked us if we wanted her cremated and I said yes but by herself. She asked me to pick a box and an engraved name. I was so distraught, I was just pointing and bawling. I received Endee’s remains today and I can’t Thank you enough. The paw print was so special and extra. I had no idea you’d do that. The box, the Rainbow Bridge, everything was so much more than what I thought it would be. Thank you so much for taking the time and realizing pets deaths can be as traumatic as human deaths. Thank you so much. It was beyond every expectation. You all did an amazing job on my Endee’s box and keepsake’s. I appreciate it very much.

When life is as bad as it seems right now, this place makes it as bearable as possible. Their level of care and concern for both you and your pet goes far beyond any normal business practice.When Brinkley died, a part of our hearts was torn out. These guys took such amazing care of my beloved Lexi! Their crematorium is actually very nice looking, and I got her remains back within a couple days . Would highly recommend them

This place was purchased last year and during that time my dog had been cremated. I called to pick him up and they could not locate him. I called several more times and the nice lady who answered told me everytime, her manager was going to call me. Never got a call. So in the end they got my money and my dog. I hope these dirtbags go out of busines..

Went through the VCA on Broadway in El Cajon to have my dog euthanized and cremated. This company handled the cremation and messed everything up. My dogs remains were put into the wrong ern. I found all this out because I was handed someone else's dog. This was already a really hard situation to deal with. Then to have to go through this... Worst day of my life! This is inexcusable as a company.

This was the best place I've to cremate my beloved dog. They were very sympathetic and inexpensive for the cost. When i received my dog's ashes he came with a small plaque of name and a certificate.

Let me just say that Mike with whom I spoke on the phone with and his driver whom came to pick up my baby boy were INCREDIBLY KIND AND CARING AND SYMPATHETIC in my time of overwhelming grief! I cant recommend them enough! THANKS SO VERY MUCH
