After the vet told us it was time for our 17yrs old to transition I knew I wanted to euthanize at home instead of hospital. I searched google and came across Gemcore. We needed to do it right away and luckily Dr. Gonzalez was available within hours and late into the evening. She was so kind, patient and understanding. Explaining thorough the process. She provided the most peaceful transition for our girl allowing us to say goodbye in the most perfect way. I highly recommend Dr. Gonzalez or gemcore. Forever grateful Dr. Gonzalez answered the call to bring our sweet dog to peace.

I can't even describe how wonderful Dr. Gonzalez is. I'm so happy I did at home euthanasia for my cat Kissa. Kissa want stressed and she was able to snuggle with me during her last moments here. Dr. Gonzalez was so kind and compassionate and explained everything that she was doing. I am so grateful for their professionalism and the care they took with our beloved dog, Sasha. After almost 14 years with our rottweiler, this was such a difficult goodbye for our whole family, but we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful goodbye for our friend. Our family is so grateful to Dr. Gonzalez. The service she provided earlier this week when we had to say goodbye to Chas, our cherished old cat, made the experience dignified, humane and, above all comfortable for Chas. Dr. Gonzalez is expert, reassuring, tactful and warmhearted. We hired her to perform an initial Quality of Life assessment to help us determine whether the time had come for Chas and it was quickly apparent that it had. Dr. Gonzalez patiently explained to us what Chas was experiencing and how the time had come to end his suffering. While she performed the procedure she was so calm, considerate and competent. We're still devastated but thanks to Dr. Gonzalez we know our beautiful cat went out painlessly, with dignity, in his home. We owed him this much and Dr. Gonzalez made it possible.

It's such a comfort to have the in-home services from Gemcore. We had them come to our home a couple years ago when it was time for our cat to pass on. Dr. Gonzalez was wonderful and our cat passed peacefully with her help. A couple days ago, our other cat's time had come, so, we called Gemcore because we knew we could trust them. We booked the appointment online through their website and Dr. Gonzalez came out and performed the euthanasia with care and compassion.

I never wanted to leave a review for this kind of service and if I did this is about 8 eight years earlier than I would have liked. But I had to put my little friend Tyrian to sleep and Dr. Gonzalez came at 11pm on a Saturday and answered all of my questions. I really wanted my friend to rest peacefully in his home, not a hospital, and I am thankful for Dr. G and her team for making that happen. I hope anyone reading this is comforted in knowing that if you work with Gemcore you will get the best person to help you during one of the most challenging times. I sure hate that I have to write this review and I hate that you have to read this review for the reasons you are reading it, but rest assured, this is a good team that can assist you. Tyrian was a good boy, playful and friendly to everyone who visited, curious and so loving. I will miss him.

I had the most wonderful experience at Gemcore. I came into their office to euthanize my dog Peanut he was 19 years old and so loved. I was so scared of the process I didn't want to hear him cry when he got the needle inserted and i was so anxious but all of that was for nothing. He never once yelped or anything. The process was so peaceful and wonderful. There is absolutely no where else I would take any of my pets again

This experience gave my family the peace and reassurance we needed for our baby boy’s transition. I was able to schedule a next day home euthanasia appointment through the phone. The process was easy. We received a text confirmation of our appointment.Yesterday, Dr. Gonzalez called to let me know she was 15 minutes away. This heads up was helpful for our grieving. Appointments have a 2 hour arrival window. We scheduled for 5 PM, she came promptly at 6 PM (which we didn’t mind at all). When she arrived, she knocked softly. The entire time, she spoke softly and with such empathy.She explained the whole process in detail and what we could expect. Everything happened exactly how she described it. She brought a lovely fluffy blanket for him to rest on. He went to sleep licking an ice cream treat.While we said goodbyes, she also contributed sweet things to say. She stepped out to give us alone time with our Buchi. When it was time to go, she swaddled him in the blanket like a baby and carried him sweetly. We went with her to carry him out and put him in the vehicle. He was placed in a comfy dog bed, covered in a beautiful purple satin sheet. His little face peeking out. Again, we were given an opportunity to say bye. He was handled gently and respectfully throughout the entire experience.The whole process was so peaceful and respectful. Every pet deserves this type of send off. My family and I are so grateful that we could do this for our dog. Thank you for the beautiful service you provide!

Dr.Gonzalez, Was extremely kind and compassionate during one of the worst days of our life. I felt great relief in knowing my sweet girl was not suffering. She fell in a deep sleep and passed with her family petting her. It's unfortunate that she needed this service but I wish humans were able to die with such kindness and dignity.

Dr Gonzalez's service was a godsend in our time of need...We got the terrible news from our vet that our sweet old kitty had kidney failure and her professional recommendation was to put her to sleep as soon as possible to ease her suffering. The in-home service that the vet recommended couldn't see us as soon as we thought was best for our girl, so I was so grateful that I found Dr Gonzalez online. She promptly came to see us in a few hours. She was compassionate to us and our kitty, and calmly (but not coldly) explained what the procedure would entail. She gently helped our kitty pass on without pain, and made sure we knew when our girl was going to sleep so we could get our last "I love yous" said to her.I'm so thankful that Dr Gonzalez was available on such short notice, and for an affordable price. I wouldn't have been able to bear taking our sweet girl away from her home and having her last moments be in a vet's office.It's hard to leave a review for something that I don't want to have to remember, but I want to be able to let other pet owners know that Dr Gonzalez is a good vet for when euthanasia seems like the merciful option to take.

Dr. Gonzalez is so compassionate and professional. She explained every part of the procedure to euthanize our 13-year old Kahlua, and she was so gentle. She confirmed what we knew - that it was time, and that there was nothing more veterinary medicine could offer. That helped ease the pain. Even after our fur baby was "gone," Dr. Gonzales treated the body so gently (cleaning up) and carefully. This was so heartbreaking, but we were grateful that we could do it at home and with Kahlua surrounded by those who loved her. I cannot recommend Dr. Gonzalez highly enough. We are so grateful for her.

Had the privilege of being visited by Dr. G this morning and I would like to say that both me and my family have utilized Dr. G's services in the past.While the reason she visits (euthanasia) is never easy, Dr. G not only provides love, compassion, and support to our furry babies, but to their humans (like myself) as well. There couldn't be a more peaceful way to help our furry babies transition to The Rainbow Bridge, than in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by loved ones, and with Dr. G by everyone's side. Her heartfelt and quality of service puts her in a league of her own and when our furry babies reach the inevitable end of their journeys, I couldn't imagine anyone else helping with this process than Dr. G.

Our family had a terrible and heartbreaking experience with this doctor. We set up an appointment with Dr Gonzalez back in May to discuss quality of life for our GSD who was losing the use of his front and back legs. The visit, including the supplements she recommended cost around $600 and the appointment lasted about 20 minutes. She told us that she estimated about 6-12 months and stated that she would be his primary/hospice vet from then on and we could call her for anything that came up with our dog. Fast forward to mid June when our dog started to rapidly decline. I reached out to her office on a Monday because I felt that my dog needed to be evaluated for euthanasia urgently. I was told that she could get back to me within 48 hours. 48 hours for a hospice vet?? I mean, this stuff is very stressful and certainly time senstitive. A dog could die in agony in 48 hours. Because I didn't want to risk missing a call or playing phone tag- due to the urgent nature, I requested a telemedicine appointment for the following day. I was sent an invoice immediately that required payment before the appointment could take place. The day of the call, which was scheduled for 6 pm, I called the office twice to see why I hadn't heard from the doctor. The first time at 6:15 and the second time at 6:30 because she never called. This was a prepaid appointment! I asked her office to please have her call me at her earliest opportunity. In the meantime, I had to call and pay another vet to evaluate my dog and he recommended euthanasia sooner than later. By Friday I still hadn't heard from Dr Gonzalez or her office since completely flaking on the scheduled call. No follow up. No explanation. No apology. On Friday morning, I called the office AGAIN, explaining that I had paid for an initial consult and wasn't understanding why I couldn't get in touch with the doctor at such a critical time. I was told they would leave her another message to call me. By this time, my dog was suffering. So I spent Friday scrambling to find another vet that could perform the service that she was to have performed. It was the entire purpose of the original $600 consultation. She was his self proclaimed primary vet. I feel totally scammed by this doctor. I paid $600 for a 20 minutes "once over" of my dog who was in very poor condition (but i was told he had 6-12 months) and then was basically ghosted. By the time my dog was euthanized on Saturday, he was very weak and in a lot of pain. Thankfully, the vet who performed it was kind, professional, prompt, responsive and COMPASSIONATE which is what you would expect from this type of service. Sadly, my dog should have been relieved of his misery several days before he was and was totally neglected by this doctor. I'm in no space to take the time to write a review right now, but I would not want anyone else to go through what we did. And more importantly wouldn't want another dog to suffer because of her sheer negligence. I highly recommend Ever Animal Care as I was able to get not only direct and prompt communication with the doctor, he was able to come to our home same day. Dr Gonzalez is clearly too busy for her most fragile and worthy patients - I've yet to hear back from her. Absolutely Heartless.

I cannot thank Dr. Gonzalez and her staff enough for all they have done for me and my baby. I began seeing her as my Lulu got older and needed specific care that Dr Gonzalez was able to provide her with. We did everything we could to keep Lu healthy and comfortable through her last months. Once things became uncomfortable for Lu I knew I had to do what was best for her. Dr Gonzalez pointed out the facts of our situation and allowed me to come to the decision on my own without pushing me in any direction.When the time came to put Lu down, Dr Gonzalez held my hand through a very difficult process. She is so kind, genuine, caring and knowledgeable. What was one of the hardest times of my life was made easier by her. She talked me through the whole process and let me know exactly what was going to happen. She made sure Lu was comfortable through the whole process.I knew how much she cared for my Lu and that really warmed my heart and made me feel so comfortable leaving my baby's health in her hands. She even brought me flowers on the day of. She answered any and all of my questions throughout (and I asked many and reached out to her countless times and she answered every time with love and care).I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gonzalez.I have just rescued a new pup and already have our first visit scheduled to see her. I will forever bring my dogs to her as long as she is around. I trust her more than an other vet I have seen throughout Lu's 18 years of life.

Dr. Gonzalez and Gemcore came to help me and my husband with our German Shepherd who was very sick. She was so caring and sweet, she explained everything to the littlest detail. She was compassionate and so understanding of our pain of making this difficult decision. She cared for our sweet lilly like she was her own even allowing us at several times during the process to kiss her goodbye and stepping aside to give us a minute with her. It was super expensive but I would pay anything to help lilly ease her pain that she was in. Even though making the decision was hard and my husband I were not sure if something we did right, Dr.Gonzales assured us that lilly was probably in a lot of pain and this was the best course of action to take making our decision feel more right. Very sweet and compassionate and they take care of everything for you. Highly recommend.

I've known Dr. G. for years...she's one of the best vets I've ever met. I've lost many fur babies during my 53 years, and they've all been horrible and heartbreaking...losing so many of my best friends. Yesterday, I had to say goodbye to one of the best cats to grace my life, my beloved LB. At 16 years-old, cancer got her, as it does many of our feline friends. I can't put into words what LB meant to me...she was one of the special ones who comes along in once in a lifetime. My family (and me as an adult) always took our precious ones to the vet at the end of their lives here on earth. I knew of Dr. G's home based services and they are worth every penny. To have LB home at the end, instead of a vet's office in which she would have terrified, calmed me during such an emotionally charged event. I would never do it differently with all of our fur babies. Dr. G. is a tremendous veterinarian who treats your loved ones with the utmost dignity and respect. I'm sorry to all of you who will love your babies in the future, but make it easier on yourselves when that sad time comes...call Dr. G.

having to put down a beloved pet is never an easy thing to do. we felt like a house call would be the best option for our cat so she would not be scared. Dr. Leticia Gonzalez arrived and explained in detail what would be happening but with such caring bedside manner. she was so kind and sympathetic to us and the difficult decision we had to make. our little lucy transitioned over in her favorite spot surrounded by love and a familiar place. i could not thank Dr. Leticia Gonzalez enough as she would let us make the decisions on when to administer the multiple steps of medicine as well as letting us have a private moment to grieve. she is very professional and yet very kind, i could not recommend this service enough if you are in a situation where you may have to do what's best for your pet.

Dr. Gonzales and her staff are the absolute best people to work with. Stop your search right now, work with them! Unfortunately our old German Shepherd got sick very quickly and we called Gemcore to come out to evaluate her and potentially perform home euthanasia. However, the night before Gemcore was supposed to come, our dog passed naturally in her sleep. We woke up in the morning to find this and notified Gemcore, they told us they would come out and assist with the body removal. They showed up, brought flowers and gave their condolences, brought a beautiful silk cloth to wrap our dog in, gently and carefully moved her body to their beautiful car, and performed cleanup of the entire area. They were so kind and sympathetic. As well, their rates were extremely affordable and competitive. Additionally, they offer regular and water cremation, as options to get their remains returned, as well as, ceramic or inked paw prints to remember your dog by. Lastly, a few weeks later, we received a condolences card in the mail with a heartfelt note from the staff. It was the absolute best case of a difficult scenario. There is no word to describe how Dr. Gonzalez not only helping our dog as well as my daughter and I thru the entire process. It was densified with grace and peaceful transition. I had the most wonderful experience at Gemcore. I came into their office to euthanize my dog Peanut he was 19 years old and so loved. I was so scared of the process I didn't want to hear him cry when he got the needle inserted and i was so anxious but all of that was for nothing. He never once yelped or anything. The process was so peaceful and wonderful. There is absolutely no where else I would take any of my pets again

This experience gave my family the peace and reassurance we needed for our baby boy’s transition. I was able to schedule a next day home euthanasia appointment through the phone. The process was easy. We received a text confirmation of our appointment.Yesterday, Dr. Gonzalez called to let me know she was 15 minutes away. This heads up was helpful for our grieving. Appointments have a 2 hour arrival window. We scheduled for 5 PM, she came promptly at 6 PM (which we didn’t mind at all). When she arrived, she knocked softly. The entire time, she spoke softly and with such empathy.She explained the whole process in detail and what we could expect. Everything happened exactly how she described it. She brought a lovely fluffy blanket for him to rest on. He went to sleep licking an ice cream treat.While we said goodbyes, she also contributed sweet things to say. She stepped out to give us alone time with our Buchi. When it was time to go, she swaddled him in the blanket like a baby and carried him sweetly. We went with her to carry him out and put him in the vehicle. He was placed in a comfy dog bed, covered in a beautiful purple satin sheet. His little face peeking out. Again, we were given an opportunity to say bye. He was handled gently and respectfully throughout the entire experience.The whole process was so peaceful and respectful. Every pet deserves this type of send off. My family and I are so grateful that we could do this for our dog. Thank you for the beautiful service you provide!

Gemcore Veterinary Service was excellent. I called ahead knowing my beloved cat Reuben may need to be euthanized. I called and Dr Gonzalez spoke to me and gave me valuable advice. When the day came, I was so unsure because I did not want to let him go. We spoke again that day and once more, Dr Gonzalez helped me. I had an appointment at 6 pm and Reuben had a mini stroke at 4pm. I called Gemcore and Jocelyn contacted Dr. Gonzalez and she came in 30 minutes. They coordinated this between them and me so well. It was a relief. Jocelyn was great. Dr. Gonzalez couldn't have been nicer, kinder and treated Reuben with the upmost care, gentleness and professionalism. It made all the difference in the world. Dr Gonzalez is so compassionate! We had a 7pm apt tonight to home euthanize our sweet princess but she died tonight at 5:30pm. We called and they said no problem and we wanted her to still come to transport for aftercare private cremation. She came in with beautiful flowers and spoke to all of us about our loss and took our princess wrapped in a blanket as we watched her leave. Even though our sweet princess died before Dr Gonzalez could euthanize, she was a blessing to our closure! A five star recommendation.

Our beautiful Lima was sent home on hospice and I tried for two days to find someone to come to the house to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. Late at night I received a call from Dr. Gonzalez of Gemcore, as I had left a message and her husband answered and said he would reach her and call me back in 5 minutes. He was extremely passionate and caring and said she would be at my house in 45 minutes. She and her husband appeared at my door and she brought beautiful stargazer flowers not knowing those were the flowers we had for my husband's funeral. It was such a spiritual moment. That blew me away. The whole family was gathered around my bed with our beautiful Lima Greyhound in the middle of the bed as we all put our hands on her and loved her and told her go to the light, we will see you again. Dr Gonzalez was amazing! She explained everything that was going to happen with love and compassion, educated the whole family step-by-step and after it was done she and her husband walked out shortly to give us a moment with our beloved Lima. When she came back in, she and her husband gave us more instructions as they would take her and hold her until the cremation people came to have her cremated and then send me the ashes. It was so smooth and reasonably priced that I felt we were all totally blessed with Dr Gonzalez.💜😔🙏

When our precious little 22 year old cat, Sunshine, let us know she was ready to cross over the Rainbow Bridge, we were fortunate to find Gemcore and Dr. Leticia Gonzalez on Yelp. Sunshine's final decline came quickly on a Sunday night, and Luis was very kind and helpful on the phone. When he and Dr. Gonzalez arrived at 9pm after a long drive, I immediately knew an Angel had come to help us all through this painful time, and so did Sunshine. She had been sitting quietly in her bed in a small hallway all night, visited by family members and friends there to say goodbye. After they left and Dr. Gonzalez arrived, Sunshine calmly walked into the bedroom and up to the Vet as if to say "I'm ready." I had originally thought that my six year old daughter and I would leave the room, but the doctor's caring and reassuring voice gave us the courage to be there with our sweet kitty, and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Gonzalez spoke lovingly to Sunshine, and painlessly administered the medications. Sunshine's totally peaceful passing was almost immediate, as the doctor gently adjusted her into a comfortable position in her favorite cat bed, and softly told us that her little heart had stopped. While we are deeply heartbroken over the loss of our cherished furry member of the family, my daughter and I are so grateful that Sunshine was able to transition at home with the people who loved her, and with the assistance of an incredibly warm and compassionate caregiver. Dr. Gonzalez is truly a Godsend.

My 12 year old dog Champ started experiencing severe mobility issues earlier this Spring. Due to his size, it was impossible for us to take him into his usual vet for a checkup. I contacted several mobile/in-home vets, but Dr. Gonzalez was the only one willing/able to see him to help us plan for how to best support him through his new symptoms.Champ had previously experienced a lot of medical trauma and would sometimes become reactive at the vet, and we were initially pretty nervous for Dr. Gonzalez to meet with him. I explained the situation to Dr. Gonzalez and she reassured us that she had worked in similar situations and felt comfortable working with him. To our surprise, when she came to our home for his appointment, Champ crawled over to her, rolled over on his back, and immediately wanted to play with her. We were completely in shock and could not believe that he had such a positive initial reaction to her; it had been over two years since he had such a positive first interaction with anyone. At that point, Dr. Gonzalez gave us insight about his condition, assessed his quality of life, and worked with us to identify a treatment plan based on his needs. She also addressed the additional symptoms we should look out for that would clue us in about his pain levels.Over the next five months, I contacted Gemcore several times each month for their assistance in refilling prescriptions, finding Champ’s medicated food, and to discuss new symptoms, etc. I can honestly say that every single interaction was positive and the entire staff was knowledgeable and helpful in addressing my concerns and Champ’s needs.Last month, Champ’s symptoms took a turn. Since Dr. Gonzalez had previously informed us of the symptoms to monitor and to look out for, we knew his new symptoms meant it was time for us to say goodbye. I contacted Dr. Gonzalez, and we talked through his symptoms; she reassured me that we were making the right decision. We made an appointment online, and a few days later Dr. Gonzalez and her assistant came to our home for his euthanasia appointment. The entire process was explained to us prior to starting. Dr. Gonzalez was patient with us and with Champ throughout our final interactions, and gave us time to mourn after the process was completed. She allowed us to follow them to their car to say our last goodbye.I am truly so thankful to Dr. Gonzalez and the entire Gemcore team for their patience, understanding, and gentleness as they worked with us to make sure Champ’s last few months with us were as happy as possible for him. I am of course heartbroken that Champ is no longer with us, but I am relieved to know that in his last few moments on Earth, he was comfortable at home and surrounded by the people who loved him most, and that Dr. Gonzalez, someone who he felt so comfortable with, was the one to help him transition. Thank you Dr. Gonzalez and Gemcore team.

Dr Gonzalez's service was a godsend in our time of need...We got the terrible news from our vet that our sweet old kitty had kidney failure and her professional recommendation was to put her to sleep as soon as possible to ease her suffering. The in-home service that the vet recommended couldn't see us as soon as we thought was best for our girl, so I was so grateful that I found Dr Gonzalez online. She promptly came to see us in a few hours. She was compassionate to us and our kitty, and calmly (but not coldly) explained what the procedure would entail. She gently helped our kitty pass on without pain, and made sure we knew when our girl was going to sleep so we could get our last "I love yous" said to her.I'm so thankful that Dr Gonzalez was available on such short notice, and for an affordable price. I wouldn't have been able to bear taking our sweet girl away from her home and having her last moments be in a vet's office.It's hard to leave a review for something that I don't want to have to remember, but I want to be able to let other pet owners know that Dr Gonzalez is a good vet for when euthanasia seems like the merciful option to take.

Dr. Gonzalez is so compassionate and professional. She explained every part of the procedure to euthanize our 13-year old Kahlua, and she was so gentle. She confirmed what we knew - that it was time, and that there was nothing more veterinary medicine could offer. That helped ease the pain. Even after our fur baby was "gone," Dr. Gonzales treated the body so gently (cleaning up) and carefully. This was so heartbreaking, but we were grateful that we could do it at home and with Kahlua surrounded by those who loved her. I cannot recommend Dr. Gonzalez highly enough. Had the privilege of being visited by Dr. G this morning and I would like to say that both me and my family have utilized Dr. G's services in the past.While the reason she visits (euthanasia) is never easy, Dr. G not only provides love, compassion, and support to our furry babies, but to their humans (like myself) as well. There couldn't be a more peaceful way to help our furry babies transition to The Rainbow Bridge, than in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by loved ones, and with Dr. G by everyone's side. Our family had a terrible and heartbreaking experience with this doctor. We set up an appointment with Dr Gonzalez back in May to discuss quality of life for our GSD who was losing the use of his front and back legs. The visit, including the supplements she recommended cost around $600 and the appointment lasted about 20 minutes. She told us that she estimated about 6-12 months and stated that she would be his primary/hospice vet from then on and we could call her for anything that came up with our dog. Fast forward to mid June when our dog started to rapidly decline. I reached out to her office on a Monday because I felt that my dog needed to be evaluated for euthanasia urgently. I was told that she could get back to me within 48 hours. 48 hours for a hospice vet?? I mean, this stuff is very stressful and certainly time senstitive. A dog could die in agony in 48 hours. Because I didn't want to risk missing a call or playing phone tag- due to the urgent nature, I requested a telemedicine appointment for the following day. I was sent an invoice immediately that required payment before the appointment could take place. The day of the call, which was scheduled for 6 pm, I called the office twice to see why I hadn't heard from the doctor. The first time at 6:15 and the second time at 6:30 because she never called. This was a prepaid appointment! I asked her office to please have her call me at her earliest opportunity. In the meantime, I had to call and pay another vet to evaluate my dog and he recommended euthanasia sooner than later. By Friday I still hadn't heard from Dr Gonzalez or her office since completely flaking on the scheduled call. No follow up. No explanation. No apology. On Friday morning, I called the office AGAIN, explaining that I had paid for an initial consult and wasn't understanding why I couldn't get in touch with the doctor at such a critical time. I was told they would leave her another message to call me. By this time, my dog was suffering. So I spent Friday scrambling to find another vet that could perform the service that she was to have performed. It was the entire purpose of the original $600 consultation. She was his self proclaimed primary vet. I feel totally scammed by this doctor. I paid $600 for a 20 minutes "once over" of my dog who was in very poor condition (but i was told he had 6-12 months) and then was basically ghosted. By the time my dog was euthanized on Saturday, he was very weak and in a lot of pain. Thankfully, the vet who performed it was kind, professional, prompt, responsive and COMPASSIONATE which is what you would expect from this type of service. Sadly, my dog should have been relieved of his misery several days before he was and was totally neglected by this doctor. I'm in no space to take the time to write a review right now, but I would not want anyone else to go through what we did. And more importantly wouldn't want another dog to suffer because of her sheer negligence. I highly recommend Ever Animal Care as I was able to get not only direct and prompt communication with the doctor, he was able to come to our home same day. Dr Gonzalez is clearly too busy for her most fragile and worthy patients - I've yet to hear back from her. Absolutely Heartless.

I cannot thank Dr. Gonzalez and her staff enough for all they have done for me and my baby. I began seeing her as my Lulu got older and needed specific care that Dr Gonzalez was able to provide her with. We did everything we could to keep Lu healthy and comfortable through her last months. Once things became uncomfortable for Lu I knew I had to do what was best for her. Dr Gonzalez pointed out the facts of our situation and allowed me to come to the decision on my own without pushing me in any direction.When the time came to put Lu down, Dr Gonzalez held my hand through a very difficult process. She is so kind, genuine, caring and knowledgeable. What was one of the hardest times of my life was made easier by her. She talked me through the whole process and let me know exactly what was going to happen. She made sure Lu was comfortable through the whole process.I knew how much she cared for my Lu and that really warmed my heart and made me feel so comfortable leaving my baby's health in her hands. She even brought me flowers on the day of. She answered any and all of my questions throughout (and I asked many and reached out to her countless times and she answered every time with love and care).I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gonzalez.I have just rescued a new pup and already have our first visit scheduled to see her. I will forever bring my dogs to her as long as she is around. I trust her more than an other vet I have seen throughout Lu's 18 years of life.

I have the utmost gratitude to Dr. Leticia Gonzales and her team at Gemcore Veterinary Services for the most compassionate, caring way she assisted me in escorting my beloved dog over the rainbow bridge. It was unexpected - my beautiful, healthy, 7-yr old golden retriever, with no symptoms, in a matter of days, was diagnosed and dying of carcinoma cancer. I didn't want to take her to the vet office, I wanted to be at home and Gemcore was the perfect solution for me. Dr. Gonzales, made herself available to come to my home the next morning, however she told me that if something happened, to call her and she would be there even if the middle of the night, which I appreciated. She texted me on her way to give me an ETA. She explained what would happen and waited until I was ready. My dog was made so comfortable, there was no angst, no fear, no pain for her. It was so peaceful as I and her 8-yr old golden brother laid with her through the entire process. They gave us time to be with her and took her when we were ready, there was no rushing us in our process to say goodbye. Dr. Gonzales followed up by text afterward, and sent a lovely note. I've send 8 dogs in my lifetime over the bridge and never have I had an experience like this. I'll never do it any other way in the future. Dr. Gonzales is amazing and I highly recommend her services to anyone who wants a better alternative for their pet. LS

My dog has been seeing Dr. Gonzalez since I got her at 8 weeks old. When I took her in for her first visit with Dr. Gonzalez she detected a severe heart murmur and with further diagnostics we found out she had four fatal heart conditions and most likely wouldnt live to see her first birthday. But We were determined to give her the best life possible as she was not in pain.Dr. Gonzalez loved and treated Moo as if she were her own baby which meant the world to me. We knew the day would come but we were not ready. You never are...Today my baby went to heaven. She woke up like any other morning, went outside to go potty but never came back. It was her time.I called Dr. Gonzalez, Her and her amazing husband Came to my house in Burbank and helped us with the process of after care. They made it fast and easy. Moo turned two last month!she was our miracle. But really Gemcore veterinary services is our miracle. Because of Dr. Gonzalez we got those two wonderful years with our Moo. My husband and I are so grateful for Dr. Gonzalez and Gemcore. They were recommended by a colleague and fortunately I had their information. My older dog suddenly became very sick late at night. I called and Dr. Gonzalez answered right away new exactly what was happening and came to our house right away. From the moment she and her husband walked through the door they were like angels. Dr. Gonzalez and her staff made the end of life process a gentle experience. We had to have our Labrador put down because of bone cancer and we were very concerned how our other "senior" dog would react. Dr. Gonzalez let our other dog be a part of this and she knew in advance exactly how our other dog would react. I’ve had Dr Leticia’s number for months. Our beloved Papi was nearing 19 and couldn’t hear or see. He was such an exuberant soul. As the time came I told him every day he could go but he finally found love on our family the second half of his life. He wasn’t going anywhere! Dr. Gonzalez and Gemcore came to help me and my husband with our German Shepherd who was very sick. She was so caring and sweet, she explained everything to the littlest detail. She was compassionate and so understanding of our pain of making this difficult decision. She cared for our sweet lilly like she was her own even allowing us at several times during the process to kiss her goodbye and stepping aside to give us a minute with her. It was super expensive but I would pay anything to help lilly ease her pain that she was in. Even though making the decision was hard and my husband I were not sure if something we did right, Dr.Gonzales assured us that lilly was probably in a lot of pain and this was the best course of action to take making our decision feel more right. Very sweet and compassionate and they take care of everything for you. Highly recommend.

I've known Dr. G. for years...she's one of the best vets I've ever met. I've lost many fur babies during my 53 years, and they've all been horrible and heartbreaking...losing so many of my best friends. Yesterday, I had to say goodbye to one of the best cats to grace my life, my beloved LB. At 16 years-old, cancer got her, as it does many of our feline friends. I can't put into words what LB meant to me...she was one of the special ones who comes along in once in a lifetime. My family (and me as an adult) always took our precious ones to the vet at the end of their lives here on earth. I knew of Dr. G's home based services and they are worth every penny. To have LB home at the end, instead of a vet's office in which she would have terrified, calmed me during such an emotionally charged event. I would never do it differently with all of our fur babies. Dr. G. is a tremendous veterinarian who treats your loved ones with the utmost dignity and respect. having to put down a beloved pet is never an easy thing to do. we felt like a house call would be the best option for our cat so she would not be scared. Dr. Leticia Gonzalez arrived and explained in detail what would be happening but with such caring bedside manner. she was so kind and sympathetic to us and the difficult decision we had to make. our little lucy transitioned over in her favorite spot surrounded by love and a familiar place. i could not thank Dr. Leticia Gonzalez enough as she would let us make the decisions on when to administer the multiple steps of medicine as well as letting us have a private moment to grieve. she is very professional and yet very kind, i could not recommend this service enough if you are in a situation where you may have to do what's best for your pet.

Dr. Gonzales and her staff are the absolute best people to work with. Stop your search right now, work with them! Unfortunately our old German Shepherd got sick very quickly and we called Gemcore to come out to evaluate her and potentially perform home euthanasia. However, the night before Gemcore was supposed to come, our dog passed naturally in her sleep. We woke up in the morning to find this and notified Gemcore, they told us they would come out and assist with the body removal. They showed up, brought flowers and gave their condolences, brought a beautiful silk cloth to wrap our dog in, gently and carefully moved her body to their beautiful car, and performed cleanup of the entire area. They were so kind and sympathetic. As well, their rates were extremely affordable and competitive. Additionally, they offer regular and water cremation, as options to get their remains returned, as well as, ceramic or inked paw prints to remember your dog by. Lastly, a few weeks later, we received a condolences card in the mail with a heartfelt note from the staff. It was the absolute best case of a difficult scenario. There is absolutely no reason to take your dog to the vet to be euthanized Do it at home where they are comfortable. And use Gemcore Veterinary services!!

From start to finish everything was done with love and compassion. They arrived with flowers, a beautiful blanket, and a little stretcher. They spoke gently to our fur babies and us explaining what was going to happen they offered us counseling. They have us time to be with Paws alone after he was gone before they gently carried him away. Two days later his ashes were home in a beautiful cedar box. I talked to Dr. Gonzalez at 6 PM. Telling her the urgency of my dog’s condition. By the time she arrived four hours later, my darling dog had done all the hard work of dying and I could do nothing to ease her pain. My dog urgently needed to be euthanized. She didn’t get to my house until 9:45 PM. Almost 4 hours later. I had been frantically calling, updating her about the increasing pain my dog exhibited. Still she arrived 15 minutes after my dog had died and she insisted on getting paid the full amount because she had been driving for an hour. My dog had been suffering for 3 hours, having horrible seizures, convulsions, throwing up yellow bile and increasing difficulty breathing. I phoned her repeatedly, more frenetically only to be told ever changing stories of why she hadn’t arrived. It was horrible to witness her struggling to breath, gasping for air during the last hour. She was a large Shepherd type and couldn’t be moved because of her pain. Dr. Gonzalez failed the reason for coming. It was really bad judgment on her part to think it was OK to arrive almost four hours later. Her husband was too embarrassed to come up, they knew my dog had died already, but Dr. Gonzalez pushed real hard to collect her check. I’m 62, disabled without a partner that could’ve stood up to her. I paid her, to go away. I couldn’t take anymore of her bullying. Even now 3 days later I can’t grieve my dog in peace because it all upsets me so much. She did nothing to diminish my dogs suffering for even a minute, yet she acted entitled to collect the money. A Heartless woman, who dishonored the whole experience of my dear companion’s death.

This review is long overdue. I called Dr Gonzalez in the middle of the night, at 1is am because my dog was in a bad shape. She rushed to my place, and as much as I wanted for Max to stay with me longer, I had to let him go. Max had an interesting life, and 3 loving parents including myself. Before Dr Gonzalez arrived, I called Max's other parent and he came over to my place, to possibly say the last goodbye. I couldnt get in touch with the third parent because it was 3ish am already. And I made a decision to put Maxi down to sleep. We were saying last goodbyes, all teared up when Maxi's other parent got back to me. I knew I was asking for too much, but I asked Dr Gonzalez if she could wait 30 mins, so that the other person could say his goodbyes. She was so patient, so caring, not once she tried to rush me, she is truly angelic. I knew how tired she probably was from working all day before, not having any sleep, and having to work the next morning again, but not once she showed even a slight sign of frustration. She walked us threw every step of the way. I am so grateful all of us had a chance to say goodbye. As painful as a process of letting someone you love go, Dr Gonzalez made it so much easier! Thank you so much for your kind heart!

Gemcore Veterinary Service was excellent. I called ahead knowing my beloved cat Reuben may need to be euthanized. I called and Dr Gonzalez spoke to me and gave me valuable advice. When the day came, I was so unsure because I did not want to let him go. We spoke again that day and once more, Dr Gonzalez helped me. I had an appointment at 6 pm and Reuben had a mini stroke at 4pm. I called Gemcore and Jocelyn contacted Dr. Gonzalez and she came in 30 minutes. They coordinated this between them and me so well. It was a relief. Jocelyn was great. Dr. Gonzalez couldn't have been nicer, kinder and treated Reuben with the upmost care, gentleness and professionalism. It made all the difference in the world. Dr Gonzalez is so compassionate! We had a 7pm apt tonight to home euthanize our sweet princess but she died tonight at 5:30pm. We called and they said no problem and we wanted her to still come to transport for aftercare private cremation. She came in with beautiful flowers and spoke to all of us about our loss and took our princess wrapped in a blanket as we watched her leave. Even though our sweet princess died before Dr Gonzalez could euthanize, she was a blessing to our closure! A five star recommendation.

Our beautiful Lima was sent home on hospice and I tried for two days to find someone to come to the house to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. Late at night I received a call from Dr. Gonzalez of Gemcore, as I had left a message and her husband answered and said he would reach her and call me back in 5 minutes. He was extremely passionate and caring and said she would be at my house in 45 minutes. She and her husband appeared at my door and she brought beautiful stargazer flowers not knowing those were the flowers we had for my husband's funeral. It was such a spiritual moment. That blew me away. The whole family was gathered around my bed with our beautiful Lima Greyhound in the middle of the bed as we all put our hands on her and loved her and told her go to the light, we will see you again. Dr Gonzalez was amazing! She explained everything that was going to happen with love and compassion, educated the whole family step-by-step and after it was done she and her husband walked out shortly to give us a moment with our beloved Lima. When she came back in, she and her husband gave us more instructions as they would take her and hold her until the cremation people came to have her cremated and then send me the ashes. It was so smooth and reasonably priced that I felt we were all totally blessed with Dr Gonzalez.💜😔🙏

When our precious little 22 year old cat, Sunshine, let us know she was ready to cross over the Rainbow Bridge, we were fortunate to find Gemcore and Dr. Leticia Gonzalez on Yelp. Sunshine's final decline came quickly on a Sunday night, and Luis was very kind and helpful on the phone. When he and Dr. Gonzalez arrived at 9pm after a long drive, I immediately knew an Angel had come to help us all through this painful time, and so did Sunshine. She had been sitting quietly in her bed in a small hallway all night, visited by family members and friends there to say goodbye. After they left and Dr. Gonzalez arrived, Sunshine calmly walked into the bedroom and up to the Vet as if to say "I'm ready." I had originally thought that my six year old daughter and I would leave the room, but the doctor's caring and reassuring voice gave us the courage to be there with our sweet kitty, and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Gonzalez spoke lovingly to Sunshine, and painlessly administered the medications. Sunshine's totally peaceful passing was almost immediate, as the doctor gently adjusted her into a comfortable position in her favorite cat bed, and softly told us that her little heart had stopped. While we are deeply heartbroken over the loss of our cherished furry member of the family, my daughter and I are so grateful that Sunshine was able to transition at home with the people who loved her, and with the assistance of an incredibly warm and compassionate caregiver. Dr. Gonzalez is truly a Godsend.

My 12 year old dog Champ started experiencing severe mobility issues earlier this Spring. Due to his size, it was impossible for us to take him into his usual vet for a checkup. I contacted several mobile/in-home vets, but Dr. Gonzalez was the only one willing/able to see him to help us plan for how to best support him through his new symptoms.Champ had previously experienced a lot of medical trauma and would sometimes become reactive at the vet, and we were initially pretty nervous for Dr. Gonzalez to meet with him. I explained the situation to Dr. Gonzalez and she reassured us that she had worked in similar situations and felt comfortable working with him. To our surprise, when she came to our home for his appointment, Champ crawled over to her, rolled over on his back, and immediately wanted to play with her. We were completely in shock and could not believe that he had such a positive initial reaction to her; it had been over two years since he had such a positive first interaction with anyone. At that point, Dr. Gonzalez gave us insight about his condition, assessed his quality of life, and worked with us to identify a treatment plan based on his needs. She also addressed the additional symptoms we should look out for that would clue us in about his pain levels.Over the next five months, I contacted Gemcore several times each month for their assistance in refilling prescriptions, finding Champ’s medicated food, and to discuss new symptoms, etc. I can honestly say that every single interaction was positive and the entire staff was knowledgeable and helpful in addressing my concerns and Champ’s needs.Last month, Champ’s symptoms took a turn. Since Dr. Gonzalez had previously informed us of the symptoms to monitor and to look out for, we knew his new symptoms meant it was time for us to say goodbye. I contacted Dr. Gonzalez, and we talked through his symptoms; she reassured me that we were making the right decision. We made an appointment online, and a few days later Dr. Gonzalez and her assistant came to our home for his euthanasia appointment. The entire process was explained to us prior to starting. Dr. Gonzalez was patient with us and with Champ throughout our final interactions, and gave us time to mourn after the process was completed. She allowed us to follow them to their car to say our last goodbye.I am truly so thankful to Dr. Gonzalez and the entire Gemcore team for their patience, understanding, and gentleness as they worked with us to make sure Champ’s last few months with us were as happy as possible for him. I am of course heartbroken that Champ is no longer with us, but I am relieved to know that in his last few moments on Earth, he was comfortable at home and surrounded by the people who loved him most, and that Dr. Gonzalez, someone who he felt so comfortable with, was the one to help him transition. I have the utmost gratitude to Dr. Leticia Gonzales and her team at Gemcore Veterinary Services for the most compassionate, caring way she assisted me in escorting my beloved dog over the rainbow bridge. It was unexpected - my beautiful, healthy, 7-yr old golden retriever, with no symptoms, in a matter of days, was diagnosed and dying of carcinoma cancer. I didn't want to take her to the vet office, I wanted to be at home and Gemcore was the perfect solution for me. Dr. Gonzales, made herself available to come to my home the next morning, however she told me that if something happened, to call her and she would be there even if the middle of the night, which I appreciated. She texted me on her way to give me an ETA. She explained what would happen and waited until I was ready. My dog was made so comfortable, there was no angst, no fear, no pain for her. It was so peaceful as I and her 8-yr old golden brother laid with her through the entire process. They gave us time to be with her and took her when we were ready, there was no rushing us in our process to say goodbye. Dr. Gonzales followed up by text afterward, and sent a lovely note. I've send 8 dogs in my lifetime over the bridge and never have I had an experience like this. I'll never do it any other way in the future. My dog has been seeing Dr. Gonzalez since I got her at 8 weeks old. When I took her in for her first visit with Dr. Gonzalez she detected a severe heart murmur and with further diagnostics we found out she had four fatal heart conditions and most likely wouldnt live to see her first birthday. But We were determined to give her the best life possible as she was not in pain.Dr. Gonzalez loved and treated Moo as if she were her own baby which meant the world to me. We knew the day would come but we were not ready. You never are...Today my baby went to heaven. She woke up like any other morning, went outside to go potty but never came back. It was her time.I called Dr. Gonzalez, Her and her amazing husband Came to my house in Burbank and helped us with the process of after care. They made it fast and easy. Moo turned two last month!she was our miracle. But really Gemcore veterinary services is our miracle. Because of Dr. Gonzalez we got those two wonderful years with our Moo. My husband and I are so grateful for Dr. Gonzalez and Gemcore. They were recommended by a colleague and fortunately I had their information. My older dog suddenly became very sick late at night. I called and Dr. Gonzalez answered right away new exactly what was happening and came to our house right away. From the moment she and her husband walked through the door they were like angels. Dr. Gonzalez and her staff made the end of life process a gentle experience. We had to have our Labrador put down because of bone cancer and we were very concerned how our other "senior" dog would react. Dr. Gonzalez let our other dog be a part of this and she knew in advance exactly how our other dog would react. I’ve had Dr Leticia’s number for months. Our beloved Papi was nearing 19 and couldn’t hear or see. He was such an exuberant soul. As the time came I told him every day he could go but he finally found love on our family the second half of his life. He wasn’t going anywhere! I feel So grateful for Dr. Gonzales. She came to our house and was so kind and gentle through the whole process. She explained everything that was happening and allowed time and space for us to grieve. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She came highly recommended to me. There’s no greater job than to be there through someone’s death, and she is certainly the best. Thank you for you gently kindness and allowing for our pet to to go to the rainbow bridge peacefully without any pain.

Dr. Gonzalez from Gemcore Veterinary Services made a really sad day so much easier with her caring and gentle approach. She made a house call to euthanize my beloved dog. Dr Gonzales came to my home at night to put my 18 year old dog down. She was so kind and compassionate. She brought her assistant....her hubby along to help carry my dog out if needed and for her own safety going into strangers homes at night. I appreciated the fact that he also was very kind and just sat down and kept out of the way. She explained every step that was involved. She reassured me that I was ending my dogs suffering and that it was time. I knew in my heart it was time. He had cancer, incontinent of urine and poop, and his back legs were starting to fail. He didn't appear in pain and could still eat, play, and walk around but the night she came he had suffered a big stroke and now his legs were paralyzed. Afterwards she went outside and left us to stay with our beloved dog to say our good byes. There was no rush and she said to take as long as we needed. My dog Coby had a very peaceful transition. I carried my dog to her van and she had a bed in there and covered my dog up with a blanket, up to his shoulders. He looked so at peace. She took my dog to the cremation company and sent a text notifying me that he was transported there. Cobys ashes are back home where he belongs along with a paw print. What a wonderful Vet. Thank you.

It seems all the five stars went to Vet Gonzales's head. From the moment we spoke she seemed real keen on getting as much money out of me as possible. First she said it would be $550 but before the sentence was over she was talking about charging $800. There was no interest in showing up asap to save hours of suffering my dog and I had to endure. Sometimes success and praise goes to people's head and they get focused on getting rich not on doing an ethical job well. She can do her sweet voice but boy does that change if her monetary gain is in question.She came too late to save my darling dog even a minute of horrible pain. During the last hour she was suffocating. Gonzales kept telling me she was not far. It was a horror show to witness an animal go in such pain for hours. She has become desensitized to suffering and in her mind she should get paid whether she helps or not. She had to audacity to come in like a dept collector, stone faced, ordering me around and hagling like a flee market merchant. Her business is about saving animals from a painful death. Then show up in time and do it. Don't pressure a client that has just seen her pet work so hard at dying into paying you. it was so ugly. What a corrupt profession this too has become.

When it was time to let go of my precious little love bug I’ve loved for 12 years…… The experience the Gemcore Vets provided my family…..it was top notch. I couldn’t have imagined a better passing for our beloved family member. They were so incredibly gentle and talked me through every single step that they made. It was absolutely precious and loving the whole time. We were given a few minutes of privacy to say our final “til we see each other again” time. They even showed up with a bouquet of flowers for our family.

From start to finish everything was done with love and compassion. They arrived with flowers, a beautiful blanket, and a little stretcher. They spoke gently to our fur babies and us explaining what was going to happen they offered us counseling. They have us time to be with Paws alone after he was gone before they gently carried him away. Two days later his ashes were home in a beautiful cedar box. I talked to Dr. Gonzalez at 6 PM. Telling her the urgency of my dog’s condition. By the time she arrived four hours later, my darling dog had done all the hard work of dying and I could do nothing to ease her pain. My dog urgently needed to be euthanized. She didn’t get to my house until 9:45 PM. Almost 4 hours later. I had been frantically calling, updating her about the increasing pain my dog exhibited. Still she arrived 15 minutes after my dog had died and she insisted on getting paid the full amount because she had been driving for an hour. My dog had been suffering for 3 hours, having horrible seizures, convulsions, throwing up yellow bile and increasing difficulty breathing. I phoned her repeatedly, more frenetically only to be told ever changing stories of why she hadn’t arrived. It was horrible to witness her struggling to breath, gasping for air during the last hour. She was a large Shepherd type and couldn’t be moved because of her pain. Dr. Gonzalez failed the reason for coming. It was really bad judgment on her part to think it was OK to arrive almost four hours later. Her husband was too embarrassed to come up, they knew my dog had died already, but Dr. Gonzalez pushed real hard to collect her check. I’m 62, disabled without a partner that could’ve stood up to her. I paid her, to go away. I couldn’t take anymore of her bullying. Even now 3 days later I can’t grieve my dog in peace because it all upsets me so much. She did nothing to diminish my dogs suffering for even a minute, yet she acted entitled to collect the money. A Heartless woman, who dishonored the whole experience of my dear companion’s death.

This review is long overdue. I called Dr Gonzalez in the middle of the night, at 1is am because my dog was in a bad shape. She rushed to my place, and as much as I wanted for Max to stay with me longer, I had to let him go. Max had an interesting life, and 3 loving parents including myself. Before Dr Gonzalez arrived, I called Max's other parent and he came over to my place, to possibly say the last goodbye. I couldnt get in touch with the third parent because it was 3ish am already. And I made a decision to put Maxi down to sleep. We were saying last goodbyes, all teared up when Maxi's other parent got back to me. I knew I was asking for too much, but I asked Dr Gonzalez if she could wait 30 mins, so that the other person could say his goodbyes. She was so patient, so caring, not once she tried to rush me, she is truly angelic. I knew how tired she probably was from working all day before, not having any sleep, and having to work the next morning again, but not once she showed even a slight sign of frustration. She walked us threw every step of the way. I am so grateful all of us had a chance to say goodbye. As painful as a process of letting someone you love go, Dr Gonzalez made it so much easier! Thank you so much for your kind heart!

We had an experience with Dr. Leticia Gonzalez. She was very friendly and forthcoming.We unfortunately had to put down our cat, but she made sure he was as comfortable as possible.We had previously dealt with a hospital which had refused to answer questions and pushed for expensive painful procedures. Procedures to diagnose a condition Dr. Gonzalez was able to diagnose with a simple physical.

My husband and I knew our 13 year old golden retriever named Luna was entering her last days of life. We always said that when the day came we wanted her to transition at home with her loved ones as peaceful as possible. Well the day came and we were fortunate enough to be referred to Dr. Leticia Gonzalez. It was the most humane and compassionate experience that I could have ever prayed for. She and her husband were very professional and compassionate. Luna went to sleep for eternity and as painful as it was for us she is now pain free. Not enough stars in the galaxy to explain the service we received from Gemcore and especially Dr G...have been to see other veterinarians but there is no one as special as her. Her compassion and sympathy for my family and myself that she showed during this difficult time will make it hard for us ever to see another specialist...she is our choice for life!
