I just lost my 18 yr old best friend in the world. He was my son. Always there when mama needed.He finally failed within a week and had to cross that rainbow bridge.There is nobody I would have rather had take care of him than Sleepy Hollow. I worked with Judy, and she was great at communication and exactly what I wanted.I want to thank ALL of the staff because I know they all work hard to make things just a little easier.Thank you Sleepy HollowMay Chico rest in peace!

The staff is so sweet and genuinely cares about the pet and the human. In January, I took my dog that passed to them to be cremated. I can’t say that I remember everything 100% because I was in grief shock. But they were gentle with her when they picked her up from my car, they didn’t rush as we went through the intake process.My friends unexpectedly had to put their dog down this week. We called to make payment arrangements with them to cover the cost. Then my friends realized they wouldn’t be able to have the emotional capacity to pick him up from the vet to take to Sleepy Hollow. The staff said they could pick him up for them. They were just amazing throughout the process for me personally and my friends.

I am very grateful for all the staff at Sleepy Hollow and recommend their services to the clients I work with. I find that leaving my pets directly with them helps give me a sense of closure. Judy and Megan are always very kind and compassionate.

The staff at Sleepy Hollow helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. I had to put my best furry friend down. I had already chosen Sleepy Hollow years ago but never knew the care and compassion was so rich. Their services are not all money and business. They are the most caring and loving people. They keep their prices reasonable and they counsel you through those tough times. They put your friend in one of the prettiest urns I have ever seen and that is included in the price. They also have the furry grief counselors there in the form of three dogs. One of which was a pug and my girl was a pug so he gave me that sense of release. The staff also said I could come see him whenever I needed a pug fix. I highly recommend Sleepy Hollow for your pet's final arrangements. You will not be sorry.

I have used Sleepy Hollow Pet Memorial Park for years. I first found out about them from my Vet, Jen Powers. She, along with her first assistant, Leslie, made all the arrangements for my pets to be picked up and cared for. Those first times were between 2004 and after that, Dr. Jen has provided services for me with my pets and I deliver them to Sleepy Hollow.I had no idea the compassion the staff shows to those of us left behind! One of my first encounters there a staff member was called to remove my dog from my car and while I was filling out paperwork, another staff member was preparing my dog for viewing. I was told that she was ready and I could feel free to stay as long as I wanted. I walked into the room and there was my beautiful big Greyhound, Jillie, laid out beautifully on a colorful blanket, her head positioned as though she was just resting peacefully. She had a little pillow under her head and I was able to hug her and found peace that all was well. There were tissues to dry my tears and water to help me swallow over my sobs. Since I had to let my little gal go, I witnessed the dignity and compassion she received from the Sleepy Hollow staff and family.Since then I have had all my dogs, two goats and a cat given the same love and care. There is a peace in knowing some are decorating the lovely rose garden there. I did not even realize that I could rate and post until this morning. A friend of mine called early crying and telling me her little yorkie-poo just died, and when I looked up Sleepy Hollow on line, I saw I could post a review. I can't say enough good things about them - and I still have all of my sympathy cards from them for all of my animals they have taken care of for me. Our family was devastated when we lost our 13 year old dog, Bolt. It happened suddenly and on a Sunday. I called and left a messsssage on Sleepy Hollow's emergency line, they called me back within 5 minutes. They were very compassionate and were so helpful guiding us through the process. Judy & Megan are amazing. Both being so caring, helpful, compassionate at such a difficult time in my life. I can not say enough great things about these 2 ladies and Sleepy Hollow. I will definitely use thier services in the future if ever needed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT and prices are very reasonable. After losing everything in the Paradise Campfire, one of my cats died when I moved her from one motel to another in Redding. They treated me with kindness & compassion. They cremated my cat & wouldn't charge me. It is a beautiful place and wonderful people ❤️

All of you at Sleepy Hollow are the best. My boys Domino and Sweet Pea have gone to heaven. Judy and everyone else there have been so loving, caring and supportive. My grief is so hard. But these wonderful folks make this grieving process a little easier. Beautiful resting place for my boys. God bless all of you. Very special people. My wife and I had to put down our 13 year old dog Charlie due to a sudden irreversible illness. We chose to have him cremated at Sleepy Hollow and the staff and the facility eased what was a very difficult day for us. I would recommend Sleepy Hollow for others who are adjusting to the loss of a pet because the staff is respectful and empathetic. The location is also good for some reflection before leaving and my wife and I felt a sense of peace by walking the grounds and sitting on a bench overlooking the duck pond with views of the mountains in the distance. I hope this helps others in a difficult time, Gordon

My husband and I called to make arrangements for our beloved Moo and it was late afternoon we were traveling back from Chico and they said not to worry someone would be there to help us. We lost our cat this morning. We waited to bring her in after telling our girls after the came home from school. The staff was super respectful and even rushed to put us into a private room while they were helping someone else, so that we could say goodbye. Highly recommend their services.
