I have had to say goodbye to more dogs than I can count through the years, and I've had some great experiences and others so-so... of course in the end what matters is having the pet's remains home where he/she belongs. But Scott at Garden's Edge provided a service that was so far above anything I've ever encountered. He was available when we were ready, he came and did not rush us but instead sat and let us share memories and tears when the loss was so fresh. When we got our boy back tonight we were overwhelmed. The packaging showed the care with which our beloved dog had been handled. The paw print was the best quality I've gotten back, we were surprised and touched to get some of his hair, the ashes were in a beautiful wooden box with a lovely plaque on it. On top of all that were some wildflowers which we will plant in his honor. A difficult situation handled with grace and beauty.

Scott had a beautiful candlelit room prepared for a bit of prayer service; it had beautifully lit candles, a proper setup to lay my little man down, classical music playing, gorgeous flowers, and so much more. Scott's prayers expressed his compassion and a deep understanding of humans' profound love for animals. Among the thousands of memories you have with your pet, that last goodbye as you remember them is the most memorable.At Garden's Edge is at the pinnacle of dignity and professionalism. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! If I could give a 1000 stars I would. The owner Scott is such a compassionate, kind soul who truly cares for your animal companion. He has this calming and healing energy when you’re in his presence. If an angel is walking on earth, it is this man. I’ve used At Gardens Edge 3x in the last 4 years. All for my beautiful senior kitties when their time came to crossover. His communication is fantastic, and his price point is excellent for what you get. Scott helped my family and I get through the unexpected and tragic loss of our cat and dog in an apartment fire that occurred while we were out of town. He went out of his way to get our pets' remains from the Pasadena Humane Society, and kept them preserved until we came back to attend a beautiful memorial service. From beginning to end, Scott was such a positive and uplifting person during an unbelievable time of bereavement. I can't recommend him enough to take care of your pets who have passed.

I found out about At Garden's Edge while reseaching for a place because I knew my cat didn't have much time. The reviews I read about the company put my mind at ease. I called Scott and he gave me some very encouraging words. When the time came for my baby Simba we made arrangements for him to be picked up. We decided to get Simba cremated and have his ashes scattered. Scott also said a prayer for before he drove off, which I really loved. A few days went past and we had a change of heart, we decided that we wanted to keep Simba ashes. It was no problem for Scott. The remains of Simba were delivered very nicely in a beautiful mahogany wooden box (with Simbas name along with a nice saying), with a clay paw print, some flowers seeds to plant, and a poem. He made this difficult time of need really easy and I am happy to say I went with At Garden's Edge.

We experienced a horrible event with our beloved dog , Belle. I called many pet cremation services, but Scott was by far the kindest, most compassionate and responsive person I spoke with. He provided timely updates and when he delivered Belle’s ashes to us the presentation was absolutely gorgeous. We felt cared for and we could see Belle had also been cared for. Most importantly - we felt understood at a low point for our family. A beautiful experience for a truly terrible time.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Scott has been. He is the most kind, caring, and compassionate person. I do believe this is what Scott was meant to do; help grieving pet parents cope with a devastating loss in the most compassionate way possible. I’m so fortunate to have wonderful friends who recommended him to me. It’s all about the details, and Scott really gets the details; such as his ability to be there for you for the immediate after care, his gentle and compassionate words and manner; personally returning the remains to you (which really meant a lot), the lavender ribbons, the beautifully prepared clay mold, the gold embossed stickers with her name on it, the wildflower seeds, the box and engraved nameplate, the precisely wrapped lavender paper that was around the box, the neatly packaged keepsake items, the Rainbow Bridge card, the embroidered velvet bag inside the box, and the pull tab he created so you wouldn’t have to use a knife to open the outer box. I know in my heart and deep in my soul that Scott took the most precious care of my beloved; nothing and I mean nothing, is overlooked. I’m eternally grateful for Scott’s amazing ability to do what he does, and thanked the heavens that Scott was here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I wish everyone could have this service at the end of their pet's life. I had the privilege of caring for my wife's dog for the last week of her life; it was the family pet for 12 1/2 years. It was so hard to watch her decline but after she transitioned, in our deep sadness, Mr. Scott Somerville brought a ray of light to that moment. He understood and conveyed that she was not just our pet, but a beloved family member. His kind words and warm sincerely caring demeanor was conveyed in his words in speaking to us through those hard moments, and the great dignity and grace he gave to our girl as her body lay to rest was outstanding. It brought us to tears again, that our beloved girl Dina was treated the way she was loved.Thank you Scott for this kind amazing service. Scott is a great man. We have never lost a pet before so it was all new to us. Scott made everything so easy for my girlfriend and I. He picked up my cat Simba at the exact time he said he was. He also brought back Simba in a nice wooden box. My money was well spent for my little baby. I also loved that Scott said a prayer right before they took off. I highly recommend Scott. I rescued a stray cat at the gym parking parking lot where i am member. Ive been feeding this stray cat along with two other stray cats for several months at the parking lot. After 7 months, I decided to rescue the first cat because of the coyotes started visiting the area and the parking lot was getting busier. It was a tough moved for this male cat because he ran away the first four days in my place but he found his way back to my place after ive been looking for him for several nights in the neighborhood. He has adjusted my place now but he is still an outdoor cat because it is what he likes. I let him be a cat and socialize with other cats in the neighborhood but safer from danger. Then the following week. i went back and rescued the second cat who is a female. I went back because i feel bad for this cat because she is his sister, and and they are very close to each other. They are best buddies. However, she was crying the whole time when i put her in my car because she was scared because she had never been moved. She grew up in the parking lot and it is the only place she knew. But i made her calmed down after 10 minutes then i drove off heading home while she moved and hid under my car seat. When i arrived home, i opened the back door and grabbed her gently. she was in my arms already but she felt scared. She started moving vigorously all over me and i lost my grip on her. I lost control and she jumped off, ran to the street and got hit by a speeding car. I feel horrible because of what i witnessed. The car didn't even bother to stop. I ran to her rescue but she died in my arms. I blamed myself for removing her out of the parking lot. I cried and mourned the entire week as if i have lost a family member. I still can't get over it even up to this writing because i feel guilty and i love this cat. Scott at Garden Edge gave me the comfort with his kind words. He is very compassionate and making me understand that my intention is good but accident can happen and that i shouldn't blame myself because she is in a better place now with other cats in heaven out of danger. We prayed together with his kind and inspiring words. I bought the highest package and have her cremated with all the other stuff that comes with the ashes. Even she is a stray cat, she is special to me and she deserved special treatment. It is the least i could do knowing she would have been alived had i not removed her from her habitat. I found this place Garden Edge, Pet Cremation online and have read lots of good reviews about them that's why i called Scott because of the services and the products that he provided. I highly recommend this place for your special needs. He even offered to pick-up or deliver according to your schedule. Thanks Scott!

I was not a customer, but I will recommend Scott for this task. Here is why...My cat past away last night and I called Scott today during business hours. Scott let me know that he was currently out of town and would available to pick up my cat in three days.He went over the pricing and options with me patiently and told me since I stored my cat properly, I had a few days to call other places so I would not be rushed into making a decision.The only reason that I did not go with Scott was that he was not able to offer me cremation viewing, which is what I wanted. However he did recommend me to Paws Pet Cremation where I found their price to be fair. I have other cats and I will call Scott in the future again.

Loosing my dog was the hardest thing I have ever experienced. At Gardens Edge, was so extremely helpful, kind and compassionate. They guided me with every step of the process in loosing my dog. So disappointing! The owner refused his services to me in This difficult time for me. Only because I asked him a few questions on how this works! Only because I asked him how the private cremation works! His response to me was “” your not understanding my texts so look for another provider!! To me that is rude and so unprofessional! He lacks empathy!!!’ So disappointing!!!!

I wish everyone could have this service at the end of their pet's life. I had the privilege of caring for my wife's dog for the last week of her life; it was the family pet for 12 1/2 years. It was so hard to watch her decline but after she transitioned, in our deep sadness, Mr. Scott Somerville brought a ray of light to that moment. He understood and conveyed that she was not just our pet, but a beloved family member. His kind words and warm sincerely caring demeanor was conveyed in his words in speaking to us through those hard moments, and the great dignity and grace he gave to our girl as her body lay to rest was outstanding. It brought us to tears again, that our beloved girl Dina was treated the way she was loved.Thank you Scott for this kind amazing service. And bringing her remains to us in such a beautiful box with the special touches you added. We are grateful that a service like this exists and Mr. Scott has such a beautiful hearts for our beloved pets.

Scott was gentle and kind during a time of great stress and sadness over the loss of my cat. Knowing that he treated her, even after her death, with such respect and care meant the world, and we now have such a beautiful memorial because of him. He took care with every detail, from the beautiful wooden box and velvet bag that contain her ashes, to the sweet paw print with her name that we have immortalized in clay. Experiencing the loss of a cherished pet is so painful no matter what the circumstances, but having had sensitive and caring people like Scott to help me and my cat get through this chapter was priceless.

I called Scott shortly after I dropped my poor little girl dog off at the vet. We didn't know what was wrong with her and the vet wasn't sure how things were going to go over the next few days. Not wanting to leave these types of decisions to the last moment I called up Scott from At Garden's Edge and in his ever so caring and peaceful way, he and I were able to talk through the in-home options available as well as other potential ways At Garden's Edge would be able to help. He was able to put my mind at ease that things would be taken care of in the kindest way possible should the worst happen. Thankfully, our little girl is doing ok now, but I was very appreciative of Scott's time and his kind and knowledgeable words during what could have been a very difficult time. When the time comes for our dog's journey with us to end, we are glad to know that we have At Garden's Edge to make that journey a bit easier on us until we meet are able to meet her again.

Scott is a great man. We have never lost a pet before so it was all new to us. Scott made everything so easy for my girlfriend and I. He picked up my cat Simba at the exact time he said he was. He also brought back Simba in a nice wooden box. My money was well spent for my little baby. I also loved that Scott said a prayer right before they took off. I highly recommend Scott. He's the best at a time like that. R.I.P Simba!!!! Miss you everyday.

I rescued a stray cat at the gym parking parking lot where i am member. Ive been feeding this stray cat along with two other stray cats for several months at the parking lot. After 7 months, I decided to rescue the first cat because of the coyotes started visiting the area and the parking lot was getting busier. It was a tough moved for this male cat because he ran away the first four days in my place but he found his way back to my place after ive been looking for him for several nights in the neighborhood. He has adjusted my place now but he is still an outdoor cat because it is what he likes. I let him be a cat and socialize with other cats in the neighborhood but safer from danger. Then the following week. i went back and rescued the second cat who is a female. I went back because i feel bad for this cat because she is his sister, and and they are very close to each other. They are best buddies. However, she was crying the whole time when i put her in my car because she was scared because she had never been moved. She grew up in the parking lot and it is the only place she knew. But i made her calmed down after 10 minutes then i drove off heading home while she moved and hid under my car seat. When i arrived home, i opened the back door and grabbed her gently. she was in my arms already but she felt scared. She started moving vigorously all over me and i lost my grip on her. I lost control and she jumped off, ran to the street and got hit by a speeding car. I feel horrible because of what i witnessed. The car didn't even bother to stop. I ran to her rescue but she died in my arms. I blamed myself for removing her out of the parking lot. I cried and mourned the entire week as if i have lost a family member. I still can't get over it even up to this writing because i feel guilty and i love this cat. Scott at Garden Edge gave me the comfort with his kind words. He is very compassionate and making me understand that my intention is good but accident can happen and that i shouldn't blame myself because she is in a better place now with other cats in heaven out of danger. We prayed together with his kind and inspiring words. I bought the highest package and have her cremated with all the other stuff that comes with the ashes. Even she is a stray cat, she is special to me and she deserved special treatment. It is the least i could do knowing she would have been alived had i not removed her from her habitat. I found this place Garden Edge, Pet Cremation online and have read lots of good reviews about them that's why i called Scott because of the services and the products that he provided. I highly recommend this place for your special needs. He even offered to pick-up or deliver according to your schedule. Thanks Scott!

I was not a customer, but I will recommend Scott for this task. Here is why...My cat past away last night and I called Scott today during business hours. Scott let me know that he was currently out of town and would available to pick up my cat in three days.He went over the pricing and options with me patiently and told me since I stored my cat properly, I had a few days to call other places so I would not be rushed into making a decision.The only reason that I did not go with Scott was that he was not able to offer me cremation viewing, which is what I wanted. However he did recommend me to Paws Pet Cremation where I found their price to be fair. I have other cats and I will call Scott in the future again.
