I was relieved to find a caring person to take care of my baby Xena after she left for the rainbow bridge. I had taken her to VEG and they didn't provide cremation so I looked online and found Cholla Afterlife.They were very caring and compassionate. Prices and packages were great with options.I picked up my girl and was very pleased with how she was cared for and given back to me.I would highly recommend them.

My sweet little Mimi’s passing broke my heart since I’ve had her my entire life. But i was happy knowing she was in such amazing hands and what amazing care she was handled with. Cholla afterlife really takes care of your beloved pets and they were so gentle and sweet with her. It really warms my heart knowing there are people like Dr. Paula and her crew that cherish animals even after they have passed to the rainbow bridge. Thank you Dr Paula and Rylee for the treatment of my pet❤️

My cat is lingering in life at 19 years old.They helped me understand options and have been so kind as she approaches death.I set up an account and have made payments which helps me because I am on a limited income.Cally will be treated with the dignity that she deserves and I will treasure her remains.Thank you.

Dr. Paula was so incredibly empathetic and caring to my sweet Yoda that had passed away as well as to my family. The services she provides are TOP notch! I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone with a strong bond to their fur babies. The care and love she puts into your pets memorabilia is almost otherworldly. I had only discovered Cholla Afterlife the day of my boy passing...and I will forever be grateful 🙏 If you haven't read her story of why she chose this profession, i also highly recommend that you do. It will put you at ease and have you understand WHY she is such a caring, honest and wholesome professional. Thank you SO MUCH for all that you do Paula!!

I cannot begin to say how grateful I am for Dr Paula and her kindness, empathy and professionalism. I knew our precious Major was in the very best hands. I worked in the funeral industry and was familiar with aquamation. It is the best most gentle way to care for your baby after passing. It's what I want for myself when it becomes available for humans in Arizona. You are also assured of getting JUST YOUR PET back afterward. She even came to our house to pick up our 80lb boy. He was the light of our life and to know he was honored means everything. It's not just her profession, it's her calling.

What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was incredible and warming. We were told that it would take a week to get our sweet Gizmo back but we were blessed to have her back to us within three days.We received a small vile with all three colors of her fur, a casted paw print with her name on it, her aquamated remains, a very nice box to keep her in and the tag that was with her the entire time. I will and have happily recommended this place.

I had to say goodbye to my dear border collie, Ellie, on Dec. 14, 2024. The loving care that Paula provided for Ellie's body, and the deep compassion I felt from her brought such a sense of peace to my heart. Every step of the process was explained clearly and with respect. I have had to say goodbye to many of my animal companions through the years and I have never felt such comfort in knowing my beloved's body would be cared for with such a beautiful experience. Paula is an angel here on earth and I highly recommend Cholla Afterlife!

It turned an awful day around. They were so caring and wonderful with our little old man. The turn around was the fastest we've experienced here in Tucson. During the holidays no less. The only complaint I could come up with is it's not on my side of town. Thank you for your care and kindness.

I couldn’t be more grateful for Dr. Paula and Cholla Afterlife’s services!!!From my experience, Cholla afterlife should be everyone’s first choice when loosing a pet! These last couple weeks have been hard, loosing our childhood dog of 16 years, but Dr. Paula went above and beyond to make sure we felt reassured and offered us an extra level of closure that most, if not all, other crematorium’s would be able to offer. She really has made this so much easier. You can see her care and compassion for you AND your animal the second you talk to & meet her! It was a personal experience of such that none of us have experienced before. She accommodated every single request of ours and then some. Letting us share stories about him and allowing us to take our time in asking and answering questions. Not one second did the process feel rushed, with her asking us multiple times if we had enough time with him before taking him back. & Because she updated us throughout every step of the whole process, I didn’t have to worry for one second if I would be getting MY boy back, unlike several horror stories i’ve heard of people receiving remains that didn’t belong to their animal. All in all, Cholla afterlife IS premium afterlife care for your animals, but it doesn’t come at the premium costs. After comparing, traditional crematories in the area charge just as much if not more to have your animal cremated yet offer half of the experience and precious keepsakes that Cholla afterlife does. Cholla’s keepsakes are high quality and so beautiful!! We are obsessing over ours! and the list of options and packages are a lot longer than what you can get elsewhere! We genuinely feel like this was EXTREMELY worth it for the price we paid. Your pets are in the best hands with Dr. Paula and I am so happy with how everything turned out. I hope that I won’t be needing Cholla afterlife’s services anytime soon, but when I do, all my babies will be going to Dr. Paula at Cholla afterlife :)

Cholla Afterlife Dr Paula was the greatest with our beloved BAYA it was and still is very hard Cholla Afterlife made us feel very welcoming and we fill BAYA was very well cared for we are glad we chose cholla Afterlife these Lady's are wonderful and very understanding we definitely made the right choice with the after care of our beloved BAYA Thank You Again Dr Paula and Cholla Afterlife!!!

Tuesday, February 11, 2025, was the worst day of my life. I lost my soul dog of nearly 18 years, and I was beyond devastated. I'm still devastated. I sent a text to Dr. Paula from the vet hospital, the first time I had contacted her, as I knew this was eventually coming but didn't expect it to happen the way it did. She graciously made room for us in her schedule and let me hold my baby and simply sob on her couch for... I can't even tell you how long. She was warm, kind, and comforting. Yesterday, I picked up Bandit, and Dr. Paula's assistant, Riley, very kindly transferred some of his "ashes" into an urn ring I had ordered. They have a beautiful urn pendant on offer, but I preferred to have a ring, and I truly appreciate not having to try to fill that tiny little ring myself! Our beloved pets don't stay with us nearly long enough, and Cholla Afterlife offers a beautiful way to honor them for the precious few years they spend with us. Thank you, Dr. Paula and Riley!
