We took our beloved sweet fur baby to Harthaven Sept 2023 for cremation. The 2 girls in office were completely amazing. Thoughtful, caring and the attention to detail in his shadow box will be a treasure forever. I completely recommend them. They were the best❤️

I just want to give a shout out to harthaven pet cremation... the lady there was out in the field but was willing to meet us at the place to drop our family off within the hour.... kiva will be back with us in a very beautiful urn by Monday. Even though it was pretty spendy especially on my budget it wasnt as bad as the vets.... I will definitely give her a tip when I pick up our pup hopefully she will be there. We were all crazy with grief but she understood and was very patient with us. 10/10 recommend.

I'm very grateful to Harthaven for taking such wonderful care of our two beloved dogs after they both passed this year. The staff was very helpful and compassionate -- they had a wonderful "bedside" manner to someone who has just lost a pet. When there was a slight issue with one of the urns for our private cremation, Kurt was incredibly kind and resolved the issue immediately. He really went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved, and I really feel like our dogs were in great hands with this family-owned company. Thank you, Harthaven, for taking great care with our dogs!

I had a cat named Tinkerbell. She lived to be 16 years old and died of old age.They talked about her to me like she was still here and in a way, she still is now.They truly do care about you and your loss. I'd go again, if when I do have a pet pass away on me again

The people here are amazing and kind… They were very genuine and gentle with my daughter who lost her fur son at the end of August… They walked us through step by step and were very professional… Everything they prepared was beautiful right down to the card. I highly recommend Hearthaven I lost my dog Hank after 16 years together, I called and received excellent customer service and comfort from Ann, when I brought Hank in I was crying they listened to me talk about Hank and I cried, they were so understanding. Then they brought out the paw print for me to leave with and gave me a hug. I got comfort from having the paw print to take with me, it helped so much. They called me in 2 days as promised and told me I could come pick up Hanks ashes. Knowing that his remains were being taken care of respectfully really helped me with my grieving. I cannot recommend Harthaven enough. They have now handled 3 of my kitties in the last 20 years. They are always professional yet caring. They are honest about the process, giving you several options and very fair with their prices. I highly suggest the semi-private. They are very careful to make sure you get your pets cremains back, and not another animal. They even offer military discount. He even came into the office on Thanksgiving weekend. He had told me that my Titan would be ready by Friday, even with the holiday, and Titan was ready. When the time comes for you to lose a furbaby (all of mine I had over 10 years) have peace of mind with Harthaven taking care of them. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Can't recommend Harthaven enough, Cheyenne was kind, thoughtful, and provided unrivaled customer service, and experience through the entire process. The care taken with us during our unfortunate loss is worth more than these 5 stars can come close to portraying. Our furry friend, was laid to rest with dignity thanks to Harthaven.

Unfortunately my cat ended up passing away at home (in my arms) my sister called here & made all the preparations (I was unable to speak on the phone about the situation) When we arrived the lady seemed very nice. I asked about a clay print (I wasn't expecting a free one, as we weren't walk-ins & my cat had already passed, I was ready to pay for one) unfortunately they were not doing them at that time. (Luckily I had taken my own at home, or I would have been pretty upset) I asked if they could do ink then, because I'm getting his paw print tattooed & she said she'd ask her tech. They did end up getting two prints, my only dislike is: I brought him in a large cooler (I had to wait several days because lack of funds) with a nice expensive plush blanket & hand carved wooden incense burner & was only returned the cooler & no idea what happened to the other items (but I have not called to inquire yet)

If I could give negative stars I would. Its a shame i have to give 1 star to leave a review.I had my pet cremated here, after 3 weeks i got a call that she's back, but not only that, My paw prints and everything were never taken care of. i was issued a refund of $42.00. What they took from me was priceless.Screw this company, go elsewhere.

I would never recommend Harthaven Pet Cremation Services. My cat passed away at home while I was at work. Not ever having been in this predicament I searched the internet for a pet cremation company in Anchorage. Harthaven seems to be the only one? The man in the office was not compassionate. He complained when I inquired about the free paw print that is advertised on their website. It's supposed to be available for walk in customers. He complained that he didn't make any money on transactions like mine and that the paw print would cost me something. I don't remember what he said because I was trying hard to hold back my tears. He must have sensed that and said he would give it to me for free. I paid for the services and he said that he would get his gloves and we could go back downstairs to put my cat in his van. The building is a dump the white van is outside of the building in the google photo below is where the animals are stored before someone stops by to pick them up. Very unnerving experience. I called a week later to inquired about the paw print and he said that it had be forgotten and he would have it for me the next week. Still no call. With this experience I do not even want the paw print at this point it will only remind me of this horrible experience and not of my sweet Bugaboo. It probably wouldn't even be hers.

They were gentle caring and very sympathetic through cremating our best friend we live in a rural community and the process of sending him up was made far less stressful thanks to their kindness I highly recommend Harthaven if you are looking for semi private cremation of a fuzzy friend instead of what is available in South East definitely go through Harthaven 💖 I’m incredibly grateful and please with how I received my precious boy thank you

We recently lost our Sweet Furbabes 💗🌈 ElsaMr.Kurt walk us through the process & he was very professional but also very caring had kind words for us because this is the first time My family & I are going through this we are still grieving Elsa💗🐾 Mr.Kurt kept in touch with us , let us kno Our Elsa arrived Also letting us know she’s ready to come home..🐾truly thankful for you Mr.Kurt & ty so much for taking care of our Sweet FurAngel Elsa💗🙏..May . My dog died and I have never dealt with this kind of thing before and the woman working there was absolutely wonderful caring and just an all around good person. I’m very happy with their services!

Parents took there dog here. Didn’t get the right paw print back. Also took over a month to get her dog back and they had to call 3 times in regards to where their dog was. Almost positive they didn’t get the right ashes back. The workers were not compassionate in the least. Never would recommend this horrible place.

We got our cat Daisy cremated and put in an Urn. The whole process was easy and they made sure it was everything we wanted. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. I’ll be using them in the future.

I appreciate the care you took with my dog cowboy. Losing him was hard enough and I didn't know how I would feel getting his ashes and paw prints back ,but your letter and packaging made me feel better and brought me some peace.

Made an appointment and no one was there. Called a few times and went to voicemail. It’s been over and hour and haven’t been called back. went to Pet ER across the street instead. Awful experience.
