My mom sent me an article about this site a couple of years ago and low and behold, it's less and 30 minutes away from my house. I finally got curious enough yesterday and took my daughter with me to see it. It's such a tragic story but so neat, at the same time. There was a rice crispy treat left at the little door šŸ’œ

A small playhouse mausoleum for Nadine Earles. It's a very sad story. The playhouse itself is small and inaccessible but you can look inside. It was decorated for Easter when I went. It's only a few minutes off the highway and well worth a visit.

I grew up a block away from the playhouse. We always at fun looking into the house thru out our growing up years. Iā€™m glad it is being maintained.
